Wish List We are often asked by Mission Teams, Volunteers or Partners what specific items they can bring or donate to Living Hope that will be a blessing to our ministries. To this end we have compiled a list of specific items that each ministry would greatly appreciate. Health Care Centre       

Nail care packs: including nail clippers, polish remover, polish, hand creams etc. Pamper kits and massage vouchers 15 Office chairs on wheels to replace worn out chairs Sponsor a recliner for staff to rest comfortably during night shift breaks Become a MOMMA (Ministry of Monthly Medical Angels) for only US$45 per month Sitting area in garden for clients outside the front of the HCC Glasses and glass juice jugs (break often, expensive to replace frequently)

 

Exterior motion sensor lights for the security of our staff and patients at night After more than 10 years in the rainy and windy Cape Town winter, our Health Care Centre roof is taking some strain and will need to be replaced in the near future. If you would be interested in helping with the massive cost of replacing the roof, any assistance would be welcomed. Installation of CCTV for patient safety/reducing theft Fit locks onto bedside trolleys for securing patient belongings

HAST (HIV, AIDS, STI’s & TB) 

Craft packs / handwork for our DRTB patients who are no longer able to work in order to learn a new skill and bring in a small income for their families.

Home Based Services Programme

 

Rain boots for staff walking to work in the winter months (56 pairs) Umbrellas for carers in winter Sun hats and water bottles (for carers)

Due to nutritional poverty in our service areas, we would like to assist the clients with food parcels. Many of the clients are aged and frail, or very young, underweight children.

600 hygiene packs with toiletries such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, washcloth, roll on, aqueous cream, razors, etc. 4 loud halers to call clients to educational
