Wish List We are often asked by Mission Teams, Volunteers or Partners what specific items they can bring or donate towards that will be a blessing to our ministries. To this end we have compiled a list of specific items that each ministry would greatly appreciate.

Health Care Center   

After more than 10 years in the rainy and windy Cape Town winter, our Health Care Centre roof is taking some strain and will need to be replaced in the near future. If you would be interested in helping with the massive cost of replacing the roof, any assistance would be welcomed.

Substance Abuse, Homeless and Food Share Programs 

      

TOP 6 needs: 1) Funding for more staff: Aux Social Worker / Assist Counselor / Admin Assistant 2) A landline and internet for our Oceanview & Retreat programme 3) Re-establish the food share programme 4) Access Controlled Entrance(Glass Double doors) 5) A printed Recovery Manual. Many of the clients really battle with writing notes. We have seen some of them fake writing down notes as they just can’t cope. For many clients just holding a pen is foreign object, many didn’t even complete junior schooling.

It would be very helpful if we could find funding to have recovery notes printed for each client. My estimate that it would be R100.00 per manual and we would need roughly 200 per year 6) The deck area to be roofed and louver windows installed all round for ventilation.

With the yard now rented to the neighbour we need this space for lunch times and tea times and will become difficult to use in winter and also in summer with strong southeaster winds.
