We feel that many people in the cattle business have used EPD’s as their only selection tool and are left with a plain made, hard doing cow base. High Regard Miss Yardley P50 is the Maternal Granddam to this great bull. Her daughters are proving their ability to transmit greatness. In 2009 P50 produced the pick of our heifer calf crop that sold to Trennepohl and Rist, who then went on to produce Long Haul. P50 is the maternal granddam to the Champion Simmental at the Nebraska State Fair in 2010. One of the top females we have ever raised sired by Chopper x P50 sells November 19th.
Last year we sent cattle into 14 states. A semi load went to central points in the midwest for $120 a head. Beaver is just three hours from Las Vegas or Salt Lake on I-15.
Y1 High Regard was the $30,000 high selling bull in our 2010 sale to John Goken and Dale Werning Families of SD. Sired by Yardley Impressive x YI Pinion. The calves sired by High Regard are stout, cool made, and consistent. He hails from generations of good uddered, broody made females. His service sells along with progeny.
