Litespeed Tech Feed: 2014 T7 Not the old Ti bike of the 90's. It is new age Ti in a carbon world. It has greater lateral stiffness with vertical compliance that yields Titanium's magical ride quality. Constructed using seamless straight gauge 3AL/2.5V titanium. Unlike carbon fiber which redirects shock energy throughout the frame, Ti's elastic modulus creates a natural absorption of vibration without losing its stiffness. The T7 falls in line of our T series in the sportive category. Sportive riding typically demands comfort and efficiency for a long ride as well as responsive stiffness for the changing road terrain. The T7, with its performance geometry (longer chainstays and taller head tube) offer excellent ride quality with comfort engineered into the frame. This geometry is relaxed enough for those looking for a leisurely ride, but it is still ready for that time when the ride turns into a race at the first sight of a city limit sign. What makes the T7 stand apart from the rest of the T series is the classic tube shape. The use of shape specific design in the other models accounts for every angle of each tube and how it comes together. This idea is still the basis for the T7, but simplified. We still use shape specific design in the downtube while maintaining classic tube shape throughout the frame. The T7 is a less aggressive version of the T5 with less tube shaping and a taller head tube.

Built for comfort Litespeed incorporates the newest bottom bracket technology into our frame to optimize drive train stiffness. The taller head tube length offers beneficial positioning to the riders. Litespeed combines this with the 33 mm head tube diameter for front end comfort. © 2014 American Bicycle Group | All Rights Reserved
