The accommodation office opens on a full time basis from early August for six weeks for first year students and is available on a part time basis from mid-September onwards. The service is based on:1. Personal Referral: Whereby each student is referred to a given address. 2. Personnel Inspection: Whereby each student inspects his/her accommodation. Students organise their accommodation and with the help of the Accommodation Service staff can obtain a Housing List by going online: www.lit.ie/accommodation [56]

Whatever campus you travel to our preference is that you come on foot or by bicycle if you can or by public transport. At both Moylish and Clare Street we charge for car parking. The reasons for this are twofold, one, there are limited spaces and two, to discourage car use. Limerick Institute of Technology is a partner with Limerick Smarter Travel and together we are working towards providing more sustainable ways to access our campuses. Various promotions and events are held each year and you are encouraged to take part.

Student Support Services

AIB provide a complete range of on campus banking services incorporating a wide range of new state-of-the-art technologies, including phone and internet banking kiosks and self-service Tablets. Student friendly promotions will also be available during the academic year so keep an eye out for these! In addition, ATM facilities are available at Moylish Park, Clare Street Campus and Thurles Campus.
