Congratulations to Affton Fire Protection District Chief Jim Fritz! He recently completed his MBA and was named Kiwanian of the Year by the Gravois Kiwanis Club. Congratulations to Roy Wunsch of Feed My People! He received the Kiwanian of the Year award from the Kiwanis Club of South County. Congratulations to Trevor Willingham of Farmers Insurance and his new wife, Stefanie, on their recent wedding. St. Louis County Police Affton Precinct parking lot was recently repaved and restriped with blue paint to honor the nine officers that lost their lives this year. C-SPAN’s Campaign 2016 Bus, a 45-foot interactive, multimedia learning center, made a stop while in the St. Louis area at Affton High School. Students stepped aboard the bus to learn about the public affairs network’s programs and resources, including its in-depth coverage of the U.S. Congress, White House, federal courts, and the American political process. Congratulations to Bayless Elementary, Bayless Junior High and Bayless High School for winning the 2015 National School of Character award.
