I know, I know. You are probably sick of hearing us leaders talk about steps to success right? You're also probably sick of hearing us tell you the way to unlock the money is steps to success. Am I right? !

! I'm going to give you a short lesson on how to make the steps to success work for you. ! !

I do have a secret. It's one you're not going to want to hear, but yes, it is the steps to success. But my question to you? You ready? How are you trying to make them work? !

Now you're asking, so I'm going to tell you as long as you will take on the mentality of I will say yes! Don't question it, don't think your way out of it, just say yes and figure out how you are going to do it. !

Oh my gosh you are going to love it! I can't wait for you to start using it! It works amazing!!! Tell me a little about your goals and what caught your attention about my post? I can't wait to hear back from you! !

When we approach things with giving information overload we come off as a telemarketer. Perception is it's about us and not them. That couldn't be further from the truth! Everything we do is about our customers. But we have to communicate that clearly with them! Everything we do is about connecting. Remember everyone communicates but few connect! !

The way you are going to connect with your prospect is by asking questions so you can better help them! Anytime someone asks you a question you need to acknowledge the question then ask a question so you can then develop the need that they have! ! 9


Remember! People buy people. Every distributor here at It Works! Is sharing the same product and same opportunity! The difference for those building their teams are the connections and relationships that they are building with their prospects!!

This months challenge for team amazing leadership team!! ! Click here Every successful person has a plan! Intention is the name of the game! So what's your your routine?!

!

It is so important that you get a daily routine that you follow religiously! Check out the book Compound Effect! This books talks about how the little things that you do on a consistent basis over time add up. I speak from 4 years of experience and seeing many distributors fail and succeed when I tell you that the difference between the ones that have quit and the ones still standing was their consistency and intent. The people that did something for their business every day, no matter how small, are the ones that promote! Getting in a solid routine will be the reason you are still here in five years and retired!!

!

It's not about day in and out working 40 hrs. That will be the only way to see success! The average person putting in about 10 to 15 hrs. A week can easily go to the top. I myself was working 60 hrs. A week with five busy children at my waitressing job all the way to triple diamond. So how did I do it! I was intentional with my spare time and I made sure I did something for my business every day! At first I felt like nothing was happening. That I was working very hard for little benefit. But suddenly my day in and day out efforts starting coming full circle. It's kind of like Faith. You believe in something with all your heart without being able to see or touch it! You have to have faith that what your doing will pay off.!

!

So what did I do to stay intentional? First of all I wrote down my goals! I wrote down an immediate short term goal, then where I wanted to be in 3 months, then in 6 , and lastly where I wanted to be within one year. I also wrote down my schedule and exactly what I was going to be doing when I was not at work to grow my business! I made sure I had started my.100's list as a plan of attack! I.also made sure that every second I was not at work I was wearing an It Works Shirt. I made sure I was equipped with blitz cards and I was very intentional about incorporating them into my life! I also made a dream board so that I could begin to see the little things that were being attained to keep me going. Lastly, I made sure every night I created my Six List which was the six things I would do the following day for my business. !

!

I posted on social media three times a day tho begin building my market. At first nothing came from it, but as people started to see my life change and the fact I was serious and passionate about it they slowly one by one began coming around! Again it was being consistent even when I was not seeing results that lead to great things. I probably handed out 200 or so blitz cards before I actually got someone interested. There were times I wondered would this ever happen for me or maybe I wasn't hours at it but I stayed the coarse anyway! !

!

The worst thing you can do and it's also very unlikely to get you anywhere is inconsistency! Doing something for a week then nothing for two will not get you anywhere! No one around you will take you or your business seriously without seeing you do it every day. It is your passion and excitement each day that will begin rubbing off on others. The more life changes that happen for you by letting the products change you and letting the opportunity change your life style, the more people will begin to knock on your door! !

!

Treat this like a business and the possibilities are endless! A hobby is something a person does once in awhile for extra cash but a business is something you do every day with consistency and passion! If your waking up each morning thinking about It Works and going to bed each night dreaming about it.....then your headed in the right direction!

Rethinking Rejection: Sales Philosophy

!

Most of you have been taught and trained to do what is called, 'go for yes.' What if you started to 'go for no?'
 Go for No! is about intentionally increasing your failure rate... in other words to hear NO more often. What? Is that the stupidest advice ever?? 
 Hang on.
 Here's an example: When a typical DT has a list of ten (qualified) that they would like to share their product with they will put that list through their 'go for yes' filter.
 They will analyze the list and make a few decisions: first, they will decide that 6 of those people will probably say, 'no.' So, they won't contact them. (Why bother? Just to get a 'no?') Then, they spot the three people on the list that most likely will say 'maybe' or 'not yet'. And then they will spot the one person that they are confident is a 'yes.'
 They will contact the one 'yes' and get the 'yes.' And if they are really feeling good, they'll try for the maybe people. At least one or two, and now they'll start looking for their next perfect, easy, 'yes.'
 When you 'go for no' you don't prejudge, analyze or filter: in other words you don't say 'no' for other people, you let them say 'no' to what you have to offer. And that's when the magic happens. I am going to challenge you to GO FOR NO and see what you can do over the next 30 days, see how it changes your business!
 How the Challenge Works So, how does the challenge work? It works any way you want it to; after all, it’s your challenge. This is about you challenging yourself to reach new levels of performance and to get outside your comfort zone. This doesn’t mean that there isn’t structure to the challenge there are a series of steps for you to follow. But you will be the one who will do all the work! Step #1: Write your definition of “failure” in the box below.

Failure is:__________________________________________________ If you define what you fear, “failure”, specifically, it will push you through when things get ugly and you don’t want to make the calls.

Step #2: Determine your method for counting and recording the NO’s you hear Next, you must determine how you will record the No’s you hear. The easiest way is to print out your contact list and simply use a pencil to register the results of that call! Make sure to log the number of NO’s you get each day. The reason is twofold: * One, it’s to know how many NO’s you’re hearing so you have a baseline from which to challenge yourself to increase the number every day. * Two it will serve as a reminder to challenge yourself! Step #3: Think SPEED! I understand that you have a limited amount of time available to Go For No! The question is: do you? The goal in the next 30 days to increase your failure rate … the number of NO’s you obtain. To do that you will need to spend more time going for no. To increase the amount of time you spend going for NO, you will need to determine what you’re going to stop doing to free up the time; things like watching TV, or doing needless paperwork or perhaps even sleep! So, what is your Go For No time strategy? Determine it now! Strategy, the next 30 days will come and go with a whimper rather than a bang. Step #4: Let’s Get Started Right Now! Start going for NO right now. Pick your time of day, at least 1 hour, and pick up the phone and start going for NO … for the next 30 days … as if your life depended on it! Use the chart to help track the NO’s!

GOOD LUCK AND GO FOR NO!! The more NO’s you go after the more YES’s you will get! It’s the law of numbers. Don’t be afraid of NO, it’s just a word! But that WORD can and will change your business if you GO FOR NO!

It's our habits and choices, big or small, that make the difference in our successes. Also, the immediate results may not be seen right away. But, they will show up when it’s the right time for your individual successes. 
 
 How crazy, this is like our “Ultimate Body Applicator”, right? 
 The best results are progressive and in 72 hours. But, it is about the little things we implement from the time we open the package (lifestyle change, plenty of water, urinating) to maximize the results of the UBA. We all know the best results are achieved with the little things done, or not done!
 So why would we think maximizing any successes would be any different?
 
 Anyways, back to the book. It’s filled with lots of "how to" advice, constant reminders and definitely a good read or listen. Providing great insight in that we are what we have chosen to be. When you find yourself in that rut of life, all you have to do is go back and review those choices you made that brought you to this point and change your thoughts and actions going forward!! 
 
 Success don’t come overnight, you have to work every day to make the compound effect work to your benefit. You could put a plan together to implement good habits and get rid of bad ones. The Compound Effect is always present in your life, whether it is affecting your finances, business, health, relationships or your spirituality. You can make it work for you or it can work against you. What’s your choice?
 
 I have been putting his ideas into practice with all aspects of my life for awhile now. I am noticing a difference in my attitude, my relationships and how I am viewed in the direction I desire to go as a mom, wife, and my career. This book/audio is great for those who want to grow and get easy tasks to guide you in the direction you want to go.


Double Diamond ! My name is Tawnia Owens, Double Diamond with It Works! Global. My story is similar to many. I had a very strong “WHY” as to WHY I needed something in my life to change. I left Spring Creek, NV back in 2011 where I resided with my husband and 4 kids in a beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 story house. Our income was over 10k a month. Things didn’t work out in my 17 year marriage and I opted to move back to Boise, Idaho where I lived a majority of my teenage life. Starting over was rough. I had NO income and I started working at a high end salon in downtown Boise. My kids and I moved to a 2 bedroom apartment above my mom. This was hard for me and definitely an adjustment. The hardest thing was seeing my son give up his room in Spring Creek for a spot on the couch. He had no place of his own. No where to put his toys or even to have his friends stay over. It was heartbreaking and still brings me to tear to talk about. ! I was blessed to see the workings of this “magic wrap” as I witnessed a two day wrap-a-thon at the salon I worked in. I didn’t know at the time it was an MLM. I saw skinny YOGA girls who were claiming inch loss and it not only had me intrigued but I was actually quite amazed. My own personal wrap results weren’t as phenomenal and that was disappointing… ! However, I had a co-worker, about 3 weeks later, approach me in the break room. She said “Tawnia, you should do this”.. I said “do what?” She said “You should sell these wraps, you would be good at it” , to which I replied “YOU CAN SELL THESE THINGS??” I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I had been quite successful in another direct sales company, and I knew in that moment that GOD had blessed me with an amazing opportunity that was literally going to change my life!! I marched right into my bosses office and told her to sign me up. I didn’t ask how much it cost and I actually borrowed from my rent money to buy my business because I knew in that moment I was going to “be rich”.! Needless to say, I was successful. I become Diamond within 5 months in the business. I got the G.O.O.D bonus and right after conference, 13 months after I started, I became a Double Diamond (There is power in going to conference that you just can’t describe!) I now live in a 5 bedroom 3 bath home of my own and do not receive one dime of child support. I do this on my OWN. I own my own time. I go to activities for the kids, I get to live comfortably, and I get to help others see their own dreams become a reality.! I am currently striving for Triple. I am blessed to be part of such an amazing company. My vision has changed, my goals have changed, and my outlook has changed. I am still driven by money but even more driven by relationships and the power of a true OTOM mindset which I hope that only one day EVERYONE can embrace. I am currently working on a non-profit for teens in my community called HART Inspiration ( www.facebook.com/hartinspiration ) I have been blessed to be asked to be on the leadership council for Woman Ignite Idaho. I am in an amazing Master Minds group where people are dedicated to helping you succeed and invested in your future as much as you are invested in theirs. Let the nay sayers be nay sayers and NEVER let anyone tell you that you can’t do anything because YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN. Don’t sabotage your relationships inside of IT WORKS. These are your sisters and future leaders in this company. Celebrate each other’s successes and don’t back door prospects or customers just to get ahead of the distributor who caught their attention. LIVE selflessly and LOVE completely. Never lose sight of YOUR WHY!! Let it be the driving force in every thing you do for your business. Call your up line for support and encouragement. SUCCESS DOENSN’T HAVE A TIME STAMP.. Failure only happens when you give up on your dreams. 1. Do post your personal results and results of people you have wrapped. (With their permission) 2. Do NOT talk about detox, inch loss or weight loss when referring to the wrap. 3. Do offer giveaways to anyone and everyone to try these amazing products and help boost business. 4. Do NOT offer incentives to get people to join your team as either a loyal customer or distributor. 5. Do post positive inspiring posts on your pages. 6. Do NOT post anything negative. 7. Do offer value on your page such as tips, recipes, advice, etc. 8. Do NOT put you garbage out there. 9. Do take some time every day to reach out to your connections. Offer to introduce them to another connection, share an article or news with them. 10.

Do NOT connect with everyone, remember quality vs. quantity

Leadership 101 by: Triple Diamond Elizabeth Houlihan In the Month of July, Lisa Fuller is challenging us all to be accountable for our actions to build our personal business with the Leadership Challenge. Why is personal accountability important? Here are a few leadership experts who share their views. Remember to swap "co-workers" for our "team"... and also remember as you read this that you are an Up-line leader if you have one or more on your team! If you choose to participate in this challenge know you are improving your personal accountability leadership skills!!

Personal Accountability!

! Larry Cole, Ph.D.! ! Michael Cole, Ph.D.! ! Byrd Baggett, CSP! !

The CEO exclaimed, "I wish my people would accept responsibility for their behaviors and mistakes rather than finger pointing." Unfortunately, finger pointing seems to be the rule rather than the exception in many companies.! It is important for you to consider one question before reading this article. Do you have the necessary courage to exhibit personal accountability? You may feel tempted to flippantly answer affirmatively, but you may want to examine the consequences associated with being accountable before answering. First, accountability means you are responsible to somebody or for something. Second, being responsible means that you cause something to happen. Third, exhibiting accountability, as seen through the eyes of your coworkers, looks like the following:! Accepting complete responsibility for your behavior! Meeting/exceeding agreed upon expectations.! Admitting mistakes.! Admitting limitations of knowledge.

1. Accepting complete responsibility for your behavior.! No more excuses. No more finger pointing. Accepting responsibility is being fully aware of exerting control of your behavior through your choices. Additionally, you accept the consequences of the choices you make while taking the good with the bad.! Integrity, or doing what is right, because that's the right thing to do, is the epitome of accepting responsibility. As this article is being written, we're working with a company that has an extensive safety program. In spite of their safety program, we learned about several supervisors who intentionally violate safety procedures in their haste to complete the task as quickly as possible. Clearly, such a breach of integrity constitutes a lack of being accountable. To make matters worse, the message sent to the employees is devastating and dangerous.!

2. Meeting/exceeding expectations.! We teach the leadership principle that we're here to help people be successful. Just imagine the synergy if every employee simply lived this principle! You can exhibit personal accountability to create this synergy by modeling the following behaviors.! Know the expected results to be achieved.! Meet/exceed these expectations proactively.! Volunteer to assist whenever possible.! Encourage feedback regarding your performance.! Use the feedback offered to improve performance.! There is no time for laziness when being accountable. The choice is yours. Are you going to be a peak performer or a lazy team member? Remember, the strength of every chain is determined by the strength of its weakest link. Do you want to be the weakest link of your team? In the 20+ years of working with organizations, we've never had anyone respond affirmatively to this question. Sometimes, lazy people think they are high performers! This is an excellent example of the fact that your perception of me is more important than my perception of me. The smart thing to do is to ensure your co-workers have the same perception that you do - that you're accountable. Be proactive and quantify your co-workers' perception; compare their perception with yours. Use the draft of a questionnaire included with this article for this assessment.!

Would your co-workers agree that you are accountable?!

The more frequently you accept the responsibility of helping others to be successful, the greater the likelihood others will be willing to assist you. Second, you are always the first recipient when helping others. That is, most people enjoy (feel good) assisting others and helping the team/company achieve success. Are you included in this group?! 3. Admitting mistakes.! Your courage will be tested. How willing are you to accept responsibility for your mistakes or do you prefer to blame others? Confident people accept responsibility for their behaviors more easily than those with less confidence. We're also cognizant of the fact that some work styles are more comfortable admitting their mistakes than others. For example, individuals preferring the analytical work style , struggle with admitting mistakes because they are confident their decisions are based on the correct facts. This example speaks to the importance of knowing yourself and managing the weaker aspects of your interpersonal performance. The bottom line: being aware of the temptation to not admit your mistakes. At that precise time, you must exert the necessary self-control to admit the blatant truth.!

Eliminate the fear of admitting mistakes!!

Admitting mistakes embraces another one of our leadership principles, "I'm guilty until proven innocent." This principle recognizes that there are two sides to every coin. Effective leaders accept responsibility for every instance when the expected results were not achieved. These leaders demonstrate a passion to learn how they contributed to the breakdown in performance. They're not interested in pointing fingers. They want to fix whatever they're doing to contribute to the issue before discussing what another party can also do. Imagine the synergy created whenever adversity strikes, if everyone approached it with the philosophy that "I'm guilty until I'm proven innocent."! 4. Admitting limitations of knowledge.! Accepting responsibility for your lack of knowledge takes courage. Many individuals attempt to "fake it" when it would be in their best interest to admit, "I don't know the answer, but I will find out." Unless you are a very good actor, people recognize when you're faking it and that spells "t-r-o-u-b-l-e" for you.

How to Balance Life with your Growing Business… With: Natasha Roberson Well…where do I start? With out a schedule I would go insane…I have 3 Massage Therapy Studios I own, work 25 hrs on my personal Massage Clients per week, have a 2 year old and a 2 month old, I am a wife and I run this business as a Double Diamond! Call me crazy…Call me insane but I have found an amazing way to Balance my life and my businesses! Do you want to know how I do it? !

!

Okay 1st of all you need to have a priority list! This list will guide you on how you MUST balance your life and business to reach your goals and dreams! 2nd you MUST be strict to your schedule for the most part! 3rd Life happens and you will have to tweak things every now and then and that is okay. !

! So let me give you a typical Monday in Natasha Roberson’s Life: ! !

6am alarm goes off ~ unless Baby Jax is already up! 7am downstairs to workout for 30-45 mins ! 8am get Jacoby up (2 yr old) feed him his breakfast ! 8:30am shower and get ready for the day ! 9-2pm I see 4-5 Massage Therapy Clients and in-between clients I reply to messages, make quick calls ect…! 2-2:30 go and get children from daycare and head home ! 2:30-6 100% focus on my kids and whatever they want to do and need me to do for them ! 6-7 dinner with my family ! 7-8 get kiddos ready for bed and into bed ! 8-12 It Works Business building on social media…contact DT’s,…Contact LC’s…anything I need to do for my It works Business! ! 12-6 sleep time! !

!

So you can see that I have every minute of my day spoken for and this is how I personally get everything I need to get done on a daily basis done! Every single day is different but I have the same type of schedule you see above there just with different time frames and such depending on if I have parties booked or I work longer at my studios, ect. !

!

So the point of all of this is…Are you keeping yourself on a schedule so you don’t waste precious time on social media…are you wasting time watching TV…are you spending too much time on business and no family time….are you making every minute of your day count? These are all questions I ask myself…I want to make sure every single minute is intentionally spent on my priorities in life! !

!

Take Biz Everywhere with you by: Triple Diamond, Dorene Johnson This is one of the most exci.ng reasons why I love my It Works Biz!! You can basically take your business with you everywhere you go! If you are out grocery shopping, clothes shopping, ea.ng at a restaurant, going to the movies, family reunions, fes.vals, fairs, Job trips and family vaca.ons you can do your business! How do you do the biz everywhere you go? I carry my blitz cards, pack of wraps and saran wrap with me. I never know when I will talk to someone that is interested with something from IT Works! I chat with everyone about something that could turn my conversa.on around to the business. Example…The cashier says What works which is printed on my shirt…I pull out a blitz card and simply say “ Have you tried this crazy wrap thing?” Most people will say no or have heard of it. This is when you say you can try it for 25$ or host a wrap party with 5 of your friends and earn a wrap for free! Just have to serve wa-­‐ ter. Then I get the persons phone number and get her or him to find me on Facebook right away so they can start seeing all the posts about the biz and products. Almost everyone in this business that per-­‐ sonally knows me can tell you I talk about what I do all the .me. I am proud to wear my It Works clothes daily and am always ready to wrap people! The crazy part of this is so many people want to try this crazy wrap thing!

! Since I am re.red from my Job as an MRI technologist at a hospital I love to show people where I am at while doing the biz. I recently was in Florida launching a partners biz and took pictures everyday and posted this is my office today. I received so many likes and re-­‐ quests for what I do because I am out having fun doing my job anywhere I want instead of in a place of employment making someone else rich! I know many of my coworkers laughed at me when I first started. I asked them to join me but they didn’t want to be dif-­‐ ferent so I enjoy showing people what my life is like now doing IT WORKS full-­‐.me. Peo-­‐ ple will watch me and I now have people joining my team. Here is a picture of my office one day in Florida……Who WOULDN’T want this scenery for their day of work!

Team Amazing Training Testimonials Leigh Smallfield Columbus- "ones a treat, fours a treatment", how does it work?-"it works great, let me show you", party guests listing four people on steps to success sheet who could benefit from products and 3 people who would like the extra income-showing instant ease of business, step one-going beyond the business kit. I used to mark it off cause I had my kit and 80bv but wait it also includes materials within that kit! (Light bulb!), listening to what people do and taking note what product would interest them, order form completion when removing wrap and showing results, these are a few but I really can go on with so much more....I walked away with so much beneficial info that I was never trained.!

Elisa Flores Ahedo ~ I attended the columbus training. I had so many ah ha moments! The one that sticks out the most was during the mock party and how she never gives the option of not having to sign. I have always told people oh its okay you don't have to become a customer or anything, just come listen to what all these amazing products are. From now on I will be following more of what I learned. LOVE it!!! Lynda Riggs This weekend was my "ah ha" moment. I was overwhelmed by some of the sto-­‐ ries and tes.monies and Lisa I am so proud and lucky to be a part of your team. 
 The training was so informa.ve and I took away alot of .ps that I am pu`ng into ac.on.
 I walked out at the end of the training and I was telling my group that I will be up on stage! I have made up my mind that I will be successful with It Works and I am going to cheerlead, coach and mentor my team to become successful! Thank you so much.
