Blessings By Sam Garcia, 7th Grade We all gather Gather at the table of thanks, To eat food and enjoy family time. We all pray thanks before we eat To give thanks to God For everything He has blessed us with. Like the people He has put in our lives To help guide us the right way. Like the friends He has put in our lives To be by our sides when we really need them. Be thankful for everything God has blessed you with Because someone out there in the world Wishes they have the life you have.

Gifts from God By Ethan Glenn, 7th Grade Turkey. Dressing. Gravy. Pumpkin pie. Cornbread. Or sweet potatoes. It doesn’t really matter What you eat. All Thanksgiving is really about Is spending time with The people you love like friends and family. We celebrate the coming together of The pilgrims and the Native Americans And celebrate our gratitude to God. No matter what you look like Or what color you are Thanksgiving isn’t about Judging people It’s about giving people compliments And sharing the good news of God.

So Very Thankful By Athena McBride, 7th Grade I’m so very thankful For the roof over my head, The clothes on my body, The people in my life And the school that I go to. I’m so very thankful for the things I eat, The shoes I run with, The country I was born in, And the water I drink. Sometimes I’m not as grateful or thankful For what I’ve gotten, Such as not getting that one thing, Or not getting a turn on a game, But be thankful for having the game, Or getting that one thing. Be thankful for everythingGod Your house Your friends. Be thankful for whatever you love Because whatever or whoever You’re thankful for Is probably thankful for you too.
