We’ve been riding, designing and making wakeboards since day one. During this time we have been involved in many of the changes, innovations, and athlete accomplishments that have grown, improved and expanded the sport!!! Coming off a year like 2009, some people were bummed out about the economy, the bad boat sales, etc…. Well, at LIQUID FORCE it’s the opposite. We are extremely fired up about 2010 and beyond, and not since the invention of the Skurfer has our crew been more excited!!! We’re excited about our talented and innovative new athletes like Harley Clifford (Pro Tour winner in Rookie year), and Bob Soven (Junior Tour Champion and inspirational comedian) springing onto the scene. These kids are the new faces of our sport and we know that they will help LF take the sport into new and unchartered waters! We’re excited about our amazing new product innovations. Now you can choose if you want a quiver of boards or a board that is a quiver all by itself. For 2010, Liquid Force brings you more new product innovations than ever before ---- new shapes / new manufacturing methods / and new materials combinations and configurations. We offer more choices than ever for finding that magic board for any and all riding conditions you encounter, or wish to challenge. I’ve got a brand new shape this year!!!! We offer the board as a regular compression molded construction and a hybrid version. We took the classic Watson and pretty much gave it a face lift! It has a similar tip and tail shape but instead of having molded in fins we went to bolt on fins. It allows the board to be more durable and actually makes the board faster! We also made some changes to the center of the board; the classic has a double concave with a spine thru the center whereas my new shape has a triple concave thru the bottom and actually allows for even softer landings! If your going to be hitting rails and don’t want to worry about wearing down your fins you can take them off or if you do leave them on and you happen to break a fin, you can just replace the fin rather than a new board! Everyone’s going to love this board because the board has a lot of speed, has amazing pop and lands so soft!

I think I am most pumped on the fact that I got the same guy that did the song for my section in the movie BOX OF FUN, to do the art for my board graphics this year. Swamburger is his name, he is a musician/artist, and he has been a friend of mine for a while now. I go to a lot of his hip hop shows in downtown Orlando and he is always selling art at his shows. I never really thought about using his work as a graphic until he gave me a painting for my birthday one year and then I was like, this stuff could be cool for a graphic. So when Liquid Force asked me a little while later, “Shane, do you have any ideas for your 2010 board graphic?” I was like, I got someone that I think could do my board & boots! I talked to Swamburger and he said he was excited! I used his music and thought it would be a perfect fit to use his artwork for my board graphic as well. Since the graphic looked so sick on my board we also used the graphics on my boots and I think they look killer. I’m jealous I can’t get a pair of shoes like that to walk around in; I might have to call Nike or someone to see if I can make that happen! But as for the board itself, I love the shape... It’s a little narrower then my boards in the past so it makes it a bit faster and peppier, if that’s a word. I also went with molded fins; most of my others boards had cupped bolted-in side fins. I would occasionally break off a fin hitting a rail in the middle of a contest run, and now having molded fins, I have nothing to worry about. But, I don’t really want to just talk talk talk about my board… As you can see, I am pumped with it and I think every single person reading this catalog will be too. So get on out there, give it ago, I can guarantee you, you will not be bummed! Shoot, if you see me and you want to try my personal board, go for it!!!

Liquid Force’s Bro Stock was back with a vengeance in 2009!! The event returned to it’s roots on the beautiful waters of Lake Powell this past June. As always, BROstock was focused on fun, but with $30,000 up for grabs to the biggest names in the sport were all battling it out for their chance at the largest single event cash purse in wakeboarding. With over 30 houseboats lining the shore, the world’s top wakeboarders and even a couple of wakeskaters took to the water… once again BROstock delivered as the riders pushed the sport of wakeboarding to new heights! In the end, Danny Harf took home the first place prize, followed by Alliance Rookie of the Year, LF’s own, Bob Soven. Wakeskater James Balzer showed he was no slouch on a wakeboard, as well, taking 3rd place. Along with the Double Up event, Bro Stock featured a wakeskate event in 2009 for the first time. The event was very laid back… the concept was to bring a handful of top wakeskaters together and let them skate the natural terrain of Lake Powell. In essence, the idea was like letting a group of skateboarders go skate

their favorite street spot. The skaters shredded the backwaters of Warm Creek Bay and all put together some impressive runs showing their own unique styles. In the end, there wasn’t a winner… everyone had so much fun, that they were all winners and decided to split the cash. If you didn’t get a chance to make it to Bro Stock 2009, hopefully you at least had a chance to view the event on Fuel TV. The event has aired numerous times and will continue to until next years Bro Stock extravaganza. Be sure to look for a Bro Stock near you in 2010.
