FAST TRACK STUDY Phoenix Academy offers a four-semester year of which any two consecutive semesters must be completed to achieve the Diploma. Semesters commence in January, April, July and October of each year and like university semesters they are each of 12 weeks duration. With four entry dates per year students have the option to enter the Diploma course when it is convenient.

FLEXIBLE COURSE DELIVERY Diploma units are delivered twice a year - during the first half (Semester 1 & 2) and the second half (Semester 3 & 4) to allow for university entrance twice yearly.

COURSE ACCREDITATIONS AND RECOGNITION All Phoenix Academy courses are registered on the Australian Government Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). The Diploma of Business is a qualification within the Australian Qualifications Framework and is accredited by the Training Accreditation Council of Western Australia (TAC).

I really enjoyed my time at Phoenix. The academic support I received was very individual, personal and motivating. The teachers were able to provide a wide variety of experience and real life scenarios. The Diploma of Business has really helped me in my university studies. So far everything I have learned at Phoenix has made my life at university (in England) really easy - in terms of academic challenges. I have to say I got a really good knowledge out of the course. I will never forget my stay in Australia - the incredible kindness of the people. Especially my supportive host-family made my life down under such a wonderful experience. Also some of the adventures I had - I hired a camper van and travelled along the west coast of Australia, great fun. Advice for any others that are thinking of coming to Australia - bring a lot of sun block. Try to experience as much as possible. Go travelling when possible. If there isn´t a good public transport service in your region, get a car straight away. As the used car market is very active you can sell it at the end of your stay anyway. FLEXIBLE COURSE DELIVERY The Diploma of Business (Work Ready) offers real flexibility to students. With 4 commencement dates and a ‘blended delivery mode’ that combines 15 hours faceto-face classes with 5 hours online self-paced learning, student can easily program their study around their busy lifestyle or work commitments. Another bonus is a choice of study duration - depending on student’s focus and their visa status they can choose between a 6-month intensive course or an extended 1 year program.

I found during my time at Phoenix that is was really organised, nice people who are always willing to help students. I studied the Diploma of Business, I was very happy; I never had such good teachers in Italy. The course exceeded my expectations; I really learned skills that I can use in real work and life. It really helped me in my job – I started working in hospitailty and now I am a supervisor. Studying in Perth is great too - safe and full of opportunity. The food at the supermarket is less expensive than Italy, going out is a bit more expensive but the hourly rate for your job is higher. There are lots of outdoor activities, the beaches are great for relaxing. I loved driving a four-wheel drive to Monkey Mia. My advice to others considering coming to study here is: “what are you waiting for?”. Tatiana Frascella (Italian), Age: 28 years
