Tips for Attending RoolaBoola: Make sure the performance or workshop you are attending is suitable for your age - if it’s not, you will not really enjoy it and it’s not fair to the others taking part. It is a good idea to arrive early & visit the toilet before attending a show or workshop. If you are late for a performance or workshop, you will be allowed in only if there is a suitable interval - otherwise you will disturb everyone else. No food or drink is allowed into performances or workshops - it’s very distracting for those around you and can be very messy. Children with disabilities are very welcome at the Linenhall. We suggest that you phone us before your visit, so that we can make it as hassle-free as possible. Be sure to wear loose, comfortable old clothes for you workshops - you’ll probably be getting into a right old mess!

THE SHAPE OF THINGS

The Tide is high, the wind is blowing and adventure is calling!

Age: 6mths-2yrs and their adults

Get ready for ropes, pulleys and power tools, wild stories, ferocious storms and far off lands. With their unique style and signature charm, Monkeyshine create an astonishing world where nothing is quite what it seems and life becomes a miraculous journey.

The world all around us is made up of wonderful shapes. But sometimes you can get tired of seeing the same things all the time. This is a story of Cubert the cube and Triantán the triangle, and the adventures they have when all of the shapes get mixed up.

Inspired by Jonathan Swift’s fantastic tales of Gulliver’s Travels, Voyage is an electrifying, big hearted epic for everyone over the age of eight.

“Monkeyshine... magical.” - Connacht Tribune

Set in a soft and tactile environment, Starcatchers and Branar tell this interactive story through puppetry, object theatre, music and sound.

THE CAPTIVATED EYE We the 6th class students of Scoil Naomh Aingeal have curated our very own exciting, mesmerising exhibition from a selection of artworks from the Mayo County Council Art Collection.
