Little Miss Lindon
(From left to right) Whitney Pace, Izzy Slade, Abigail Robertson, Lexi Tremblay, Amelia Ferrin
Abigail Robertson is the daughter of James and Jenny Robertson. She is 11 years old and will be attending Oak Canyon Junior High in the fall. Abby is in the dual-immersion program for Portuguese and would love to visit Brazil one day. Her favorite things to do are reading, arts & crafts, dancing, playing tennis, and skiing. This year Abigail raised funds, purchased supplies and assembled 215 activity kits for Primary Children’s Hospital. She thought kids would enjoy doing something while going through a hard time. She feels blessed to be a part of Little Miss Lindon this centennial year and loves serving at the events. She has a lot of pride in her hometown and has enjoyed working on the parade float that pays tribute to our town. She looks forward to Lindon Days with all the fun events and likes how it brings the community together.
Alexandra Tremblay is the daughter of Bruno and Kimberly Tremblay. She is 13 years old and attends Oak Canyon Jr High School. Alexandra is always singing. Her hobbies include art, writing poetry, dance, drama, baking, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Alexandra loves to serve and help others. She started a Service Club at Oak Canyon and she was even given a Youth Service Award from Mayor Lundberg for her service at the Lindon Senior Center last year. For her Little Miss Lindon Service Project this year she made snack kits for local refugees. Alexandra has a big heart and doesn’t like to see people suffer. She chose this project because she wanted to make a difference in helping people who have been displaced from their homes, which she felt would be a particularly hard challenge. Alexandra loves Lindon City! She is so happy to be able to do more to serve our community as royalty, and feels it is a privilege, especially with it being the Centennial.
Amelia Ferrin is 12 years old and is the daughter of Thomas and Laura Ferrin. She is the oldest of three kids and will be attending Oak Canyon Junior High in the fall. Amelia loves to crochet, play violin, bake, play with animals, and play sports. Amelia’s service project was working with her family to knit 181 hats for the babies in the NICU at Timpanogos Regional Hospital. Amelia is looking forward to the Free Swim Day during Lindon Days, when she will get to help with the KenDucky Derby and the Cardboard Boat Regatta. She loves being involved in making Lindon City events happen and getting to see what happens “behind the scenes.”
Izzy Slade is the daughter of Ryan & Bryndee Slade. Izzy is 12 years old and is sad to be leaving Lindon Elementary and all of the teachers she has loved so much. Izzy has music in her soul. She can be heard singing non-stop around the house. She loves theater and dance. She enjoyed playing Baloo in the Jungle Book and Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka this last year. She’s very artistic and loves to create. For Izzy’s service project, she organized a musical talent showcase with friends to perform for the residents of Spring Gardens Care Center. Izzy sang a solo, and had friends and family play their respective instruments. She really enjoyed talking with the elderly people there. Izzy is thrilled to serve the city of Lindon this year! She looks forward to every opportunity to engage with the community and is always asking her mom when the next event will be.
Whitney Pace is the daughter of Gene and Neisha Pace. She is 13 and will be starting eighth grade in the fall. Whitney loves to perform, read, and swim. Her favorite subject in school is band and she enjoys getting to improve her skills on her trumpet. Whitney went to Spring Gardens Assisted Living and played games and planned activities for the residents for her service project. She has continued her service monthly for the last year and a half. Whitney is looking forward to Lindon Days, especially the Boat Regatta race and the KenDucky Derby. Whitney has loved serving in the royalty and is excited to continue to bring others joy in the coming months.
