Sample knit with 2.25mm needle and Clover Petite yarn Finished Size – 33 mm (L) and 22mm (W)

(Worked from Back to Tip of nose) Using Colour 1, cast on 6 st onto 1 needle Rnd 1: Divide sts on to 3 needles and knit in a round. Rnd 2: (Kfb) 6 times (12 sts). Rnd 3: Knit. Rnd 4: [Kfb, k1] 6 times (18 sts). Rnd 5 to 11: Knit. Switch to Colour 2. Turn work inside out. Make sure that the (new) inside of the work faces you as you continue working in a round. Rnd 12: Purl. (18 sts). Rnd 13: [P2tog, p1] 6 times (12sts). Rnd 14: Purl Rnd 15: [P2tog] 6 times (6sts). Stuff the hedgehog. Rnd 16: [P2tog] 3 times (3 sts). Break yarn and draw yarn tightly through sts with needle. Weave loose end of yarn to tighten loose stitches (if any) and weave remaining yarn to the other end of work and cut it off.
Finishing
Weave in other loose end of other yarn, if any. Sew eyes and nose with 2 small stitches in black yarn. (optional) Sew 4 feet on the underside of body using colour 2 yarn. Sew feet using either French knot (2 or 3 wraps around needle).
