Miss Limestone 1979-1980 is Paula Patrice Abrams of Union, South Carolina. Patrice is a sophomore music and theatre arts major. Her hobbies include dancing, singing, playing the piano, modeling, playing tennis and reading.

Patrice is also Miss Black America-Union and Miss Black America-South Carolina. She hopes to compete for the national M iss Black America crown in the summer. W hen asked how she felt being a local and state title holder, Patrice remarked, "All goals are attainable if one is hardworking and self-confident, but in pursuing these goals we must remember that on the way to the top, the work doesn't get easier, but the rewards get better."
