Dr. William J. Briggs

Dr. William J. Briggs became President of Limestone College in September 1979. Before this appointment, Dr. Briggs served as director of development and alumni affairs.

A native of Lincolnton, North Carolina, Dr. Briggs has been affiliated w ith several other educational institutions throughout the Carolinas.

He and his wife, the former Joyce Jenkins, have two children, Julie, a senior at Limestone, and Bill, a senior at Gaffney High School.

Dr. Briggs is a dedicated promoter of the Christian way of life at Limestone College. We, the Calciid Staff, wish Dr. William Briggs the best in this and all future years at Limestone College.
