Janesboro record first success with Cromer win Janesboro 1 Wembley Rvs 0 Janesboro picked up their first major trophy with victory over Wembley Rvs in the final of the Cromer Cup at Cals Park. Kevin Cronin scored the only goal of the game.

St Johns Gate retained the North Munster Cup with a 2-1 win over Wembley Rvs while in the Saxone Cup Wembley Rovers and Cals knocked out fancied Janesboro and Geraldines respectively in the semi finals. Wembley beat ‘Boro 2-0; Jimmy Kelly and ex-Garryowen Celtic inside-right, Des O'Leary scored while Caledonians were complete masters against Geraldines. Goals by Joe Horrigan, John O'Neill and Joe Callaghan giving them a 3-0 win. Cals bettered Wembley to win the final.
