Summer Camps for Adults Summer Camp for Adults: Next Level Tie Dye 5 Days Summer camp isn’t just for kids any more! Spend the week learning how this intricate and highly controlled form of traditional Japanese tie dye (Shibori) is created. Set up an indigo bath and experiment with layers of color to create patterns using stitches and ties. Dye fabric yardage for sewing projects or finished clothes, housewares or other fabric objects. No materials needed on the first day.
Workshops Eco Dye with Fresh Flowers 1 Day
Naturally dye material using the “bundle dye” technique applying flowers and plants directly onto fabric. Leave with a unique scarf and stepby-step guide to repeat the process at home. A silk scarf will be provided. Please bring some additional, prewashed, natural (cotton, rayon and silk) fibers you’d like to dye. Dress for mess. No experience necessary

Formal instruction includes operating a sewing machine, cutting patterns and learning sewing vocabulary. Everyone leaves with an apron and a lined grocery tote in their favorite fabrics. Learn the basics of marbling by floating inks on a liquid base and using tools draw patterns and create a unique set of coasters and a silk hankie.
