WELCOME TO LILLSTREET S P M A C T R A R SUMME This summer, campers at Lillstreet Art Center will venture into the wonderful workings of the universe in Cosmic Constructions, print amazing images on clothes in T-Shirt Factory, get their hands dirty in Wheelthrowing, learn about art and culture from the past in Art Around the World: Ancient Cultures, explore the outside world to find inspiration and materials for making art in Nature Stuff, fine tune their camera skills in Digital Photography, and create new works of art in all of over 50 different weekly camps. Summer has never been this exciting, educational, and fun! For over twenty years, we have hosted art camps for kids, watching young campers grow into amazing artists along the way. During the twelve weeks of summer, all of Lillstreet will turn into an urban campground hosting a pile of campers eager to explore the magical world of art while making lasting friendships and developing lifelong skills. Campers ages 3.5-18 have a diverse selection of artistic mediums to explore. The activities in every camp change each week, providing a fresh understanding of art and perspective for every camper. We hope your young ones will join us for summer camps this year. Whether they stay all day or just a few hours, campers will have an unforgettable experience at our summer camps. See you soon, The Staff of Lillstreet Art Center

2 SUMMER CAMPS BEGIN JUNE 9

SUMMER CAMPS LILLSTREET’S SUMMER CAMPS offer a wide variety of programs for children and young adults.

Each week of camp, students ages 3 ½ through young adult add to the lively Lillstreet community and have the benefit of working and learning among professional artists of all mediums. We pride ourselves on our creative instructors who provide a guided learning experience designed to maximize each child’s personal creativity. Each student is seen as an individual with a unique voice, and every student is taught to create fearlessly and to focus on the process of making art more than on the end result. Most importantly, we foster a relaxed and non-competitive environment in the classroom and everyone has lots and lots of fun!
