Regulatory Impression: Only a slight improvement is recorded but not sufficient to instil confidence. There is serious reason for concern since the performance is indicative of a low commitment level to drinking water quality management in the areas the District Municipality is taking responsibility for. This is most unfortunate especially since the Department is lauding the Environmental Health Practitioner work done by the DM within the drinking water quality business of other Local Municipalities in the area.
