CHARITABLE GIVING PARTNERING WITH THE RED CROSS LifeWave began partnering with the Red Cross in 2005, providing financial aid to victims and relief workers dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. In 2009, we became an official Red Cross Storm Partner, directly serving as a resource during times of disaster. In this capacity, LifeWave provides both financial aid and product support, working directly with the Red Cross to help communities prepare for local catastrophes.
SUPPORT FOR THOSE WHO SERVE LifeWave has a deep appreciation for the men and women who serve in our armed forces. As such, we’re proud supporters of the Purple Heart Veterans of Florida, Inc. To do our part, LifeWave has provided fast and natural health benefits to these veterans in need. Our donations, with a retail value in excess of $2 million, include Y-Age Aeon patches (for stress relief), IceWave patches (for pain relief) and Silent Nights patches (for improved sleep). In addition, LifeWave proudly donates IceWave patches to the Veterans Assistance Program (VAP) of Polk County, Florida. Polk County has one of the largest veterans populations in Florida, and the popularity of our products continues to grow as more veterans organizations partner with the VAP.
GLOBAL DISASTER RELIEF In 2009, LifeWave donated IceWave patches to help first responders, volunteers and victims cope with the aftermath of Italy’s worst earthquake in three decades. In recognition for our efforts, an emissary from the office of the Mayor of Rome presented a special bronze Medal of Recognition to our Founder and CEO, David Schmidt.
