NEW TO THE BATTERY ATLANTA IN 2019 An outdoors store, an escape room, a nail salon and a 9,000-square-foot virtual-reality experience center are all scheduled to open this year at the Battery Atlanta. The VOID, a virtual reality center, will be opening a 9,000-square-foot space on Battery Avenue, adjacent to the Coca-Cola Roxy. Guests will experience state-of-the-art virtual reality technology, physical stages and multi-sensory effects that include touch and smell. Rock/Creek, a Chattanooga-based outdoors store, will be taking over a 17,000-square-foot space inside the Battery Atlanta. It is expected to become their flagship store. The Escape Game will be occupying a 5,000-square-foot space and will feature rooms that will require teamwork in order to beat the 60-minute clock and escape the room. Allure Nail Bar will be located next to Select Shades, in a 3,100-square-foot space, and will feature the latest advances in beauty care.

WHAT CAUSES TAX PROBLEMS? Most people who own a business or work as a contractor will eventually have a tax issue. It's most often caused by not thinking about tax payments until they are due, a large unforeseen expense or adjusting spending up as revenue of the business rises but not adjusting down when it decreases. WHAT MAKES THE PROBLEM WORSE? When a tax problem arises, many people find it so stressful that they try not to think about it for a while and simply hope that a windfall or increase in business will allow them to catch up. Meanwhile, penalties accumulate, and the interest is compounding daily. They make it worse by trying to handle their own tax case, often allowing their bank accounts to be levied and wages garnished. It is common to see people worry themselves sick over taxes, letting it affect their marriage and engaging in self-blame. Educating yourself about your options will make all the difference in turning the situation around, and the sooner you make the decision to tackle the problem, the easier it is. WHAT FORMS OF RELIEF EXIST? In some cases, you may prove that you can't afford to pay anything (and have a $0 monthly payment until the debt expires or your finances improve). In other cases, you may make a lower lump sum offer or enter a Fresh Start agreement that prevents tax liens. Some will obtain a Partial Pay Installment Agreement that will only pay a fraction of the debt. HOW DO YOU START REPAIRING A TAX PROBLEM? We will make sure all returns are filed for the last six years, ending failure to file penalties. Start withholding 12

Recent years should be paid before older taxes since some penalties may have capped on the older years and older years expire sooner. Trust fund taxes such as sales tax and the employer portion of employment tax should be paid before income tax because trust fund taxes can pierce an entity to you. HOW SHOULD I TREAT IRS NOTICES? Any time you receive certified mail, pick it up to ensure that you do not miss any deadlines to appeal levy notices, which would allow them to levy bank accounts and garnish wages. Where the amount is disputed, do not to miss deadlines to appeal. Forward IRS communications to your attorney as soon as possible. FINAL THOUGHTS It is common for people to think their case is hopeless only to discover that obtaining relief can be smooth and painless. The freedom gained from correcting a tax

“[Having Lakelyn] was a complete 180, and now every time I have a kid it switches in a different direction—in a good direction,” he continues. “My mindset 100 percent switched when we had Lakelyn. And when we had Trice. And then a third time when we had Violet—in good directions. It’s made me more well-rounded. Balance is hard; to be the best at anything, you can’t really be balanced. Now I’m trying to be the best father and husband I can be. It’s a good challenge; it’s fun.” Rich found some of that seemingly unattainable balance through his transition to team competitions, which have allowed him more of an opportunity to think about training while he’s training and to not think about training while he isn’t. “I get to be present in my life,” he says. “[In individual], even when I was doing other things, I was still thinking about what I needed to do, what I was missing out on. “Competing as an individual for me, I got burnt out,” he continues. “It’s been fun the last couple of years to be able to compete with a team. New Year's (re)Solutions FROM “GOING TO” TO ONGOING

2018 CAME AND WENT, MUCH LIKE THOSE CALORIC HOLIDAY LEFTOVERS THAT NO LONGER LOITER AROUND IN THE FRIDGE. Then so it is, with a renewed feeling of resolve for a better year onward, we yet again vow—for “realsies” this time— to follow through with our new year’s pledges. For better chances of success this year, identify what you can do to improve your life on your own, what you cannot achieve without the assistance of others and how to bring your goals to fruition. Change is a gradual process that requires consistency and time. Increase your chances of adhering to your goals by using these basic steps:

1. SET SPECIFIC GOALS. Set manageable and specific goals for yourself. If you want to exercise regularly, set a number of days and an amount of time that is reasonable to you as a starting point. Do not overwhelm yourself; start small and increase your workout as you build more endurance later on.

2. KEEP TRACK OF YOUR GOALS AND EVALUATE THEM. Document, and if possible, measure your progress. If the goal is losing weight, determine a sensible amount you would like to lose per month and overall outcome in a realistic time frame. Steadily implement your chosen exercise regimen and keep track using a health journal. Do the same with your diet. When you do the right things, the pounds do come off—unless, of course, there is a health issue that warrants medical attention. Notetaking raises self-awareness about your exercise and diet habits, your weight management progress, and it helps you evaluate what is working and what isn't. Eventually, you will recognize where to keep pushing and where to ease up if the plan gets overly ambitious. Keeping track helps you stay on track.

3. PERSEVERE If you work hard and still fall short of accomplishing your ultimate goal, do not beat yourself up over it. It may take more time for you to reach your objective. The most important thing is that you are closer to your targeted result than you were when you got started. You have learned from your mistakes. Not quitting is a victory in itself.
