past few years, today’s market is showing more positive signs and an uptick in purchase prices as qualified buyers take advantage of low-interest rates and more accurately priced homes. Luxury realty specialists Gutfreund and Rich have seen it all in their many years in the business and have excelled in every type of market. Because of their seasoned expertise, they are confident about the stability of the area’s market conditions and dedicated to helping clients successfully achieve their goals. Trust is Paramount. Positive thinkers with a passion for their work, Gutfreund and Rich are also realists who know that earning the trust of their customers requires much more than just being good listeners. Buying a home, after all, is one of the most important decisions that any person or family ever makes. The partners, therefore, stay abreast of market variances so they can offer their clients the most up-to-date information, cutting-edge market resources and best opportunities available. As specialists in Rochester Hills and Oakland County, Michigan, Gutfreund and Rich have skillfully negotiated and seamlessly closed hundreds of transactions. When listing a home, their approach is never cookie cutter. They create a customized marketing plan for each special listing that assures the greatest exposure, attracts the right qualified buyers and commands the highest price. “Signature Sotheby’s represents clients throughout Michigan, the U.S. and globally. Wherever there is a relevant lifestyle, we typically have a presence,” Gutfreund says. "Selling a home is a bit like a well-orchestrated theater production," Rich says. "There is set design, a story line, a production and sales all melding together to make a hit!” CONTINUED >

With hundreds of offices worldwide, Signature Sotheby’s stands well apart by generating local, national and international exposure for their listings. This internationally recognized brokerage firm also maintains an ever-growing, ongoing list of potential buyers. Many are corporate executives who bring new buying power to the local economy and are relocating to the metro Detroit area because of its emerging market. “It’s a fantastic welcoming sign,” notes Gutfreund—one that he says should continue to boost the local housing market in years to come. “We know how to buy smart and seek out good quality homes for our customers," Rich adds. "We also instinctively understand the power of staging a home to get the maximum value for our sellers.” Their advice about a home’s presentation is, less is more. Reduce clutter, minimize furniture and artwork and provide a home environment where potential buyers can easily envision themselves. Gutfreund and Rich offer valuable tips to clients on staging, separating wants from needs and determining an amenity list to narrow buying options. These simple strategies have proven to be successful in matching the right buyer with the right property. (Insert Picture of Living Room

less, to the future of your portfolio, including more security and sometimes even greater tangible assets. Gutfreund and Rich’s commitment to real estate has earned them a high level of respect from colleagues and customers alike. “I appreciate that Sotheby’s has evolved alongside today’s customer,” Gutfreund notes. Customers can view Sotheby’s listings in traditional places such as The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times, or they can visit various websites or download the phone app. In the constantly expanding stratus of social media, Signature Sotheby’s keeps a viable presence. What never changes is the company’s style of presenting homes: with dedication and distinction.
Helping people achieve their dreams.
Registered Business Alliance Inc. Franchise Consultant
Are you Franchise Material? A very common question I get is, “How do I know I can run a franchise business? ”Becoming a business owner for the first time can be terrifying! So what makes someone franchise material? Here is a list of the TOP FIVE characteristics: 1. The ability to follow a system Most franchise failures occur because owners don’t follow the system provided – somehow, these owners thought they were “smarter” than their franchisor – and you have to wonder, why did they buy a franchise to begin with if that’s how they felt? 2. Emotional Maturity Business ownership requires your “coming to the plate” and handling whatever pitches are thrown at you. You have to be able to persevere to receive life’s rewards.
Own your future.
3. Positive Attitude It isn’t about being able to “sell” – it’s about ensuring that positive relationships can be made. 4. Knowing When To Be Humble The smartest, most successful people in the world will often tell you they are able to have achieved what they achieved in life because they “knew their limitations – and asked for help when they needed it.” What they are saying is that they knew when to be humble. 5. Belief in Calculated Risk Franchising is “one step up” from pure entrepreneurism. What this means is that if you are all about taking huge leaps, and big risks –because what you LOVE is the big potential payout-then what you really seek is being a real entrepreneur, and franchising may not be the right choice for you.
The KMC Group walks people through a very extensive process to make sure they are in the right business. Our personal approach ensures you are set up with the right franchise with the right goals for you. We look forward to helping you achieve your dreams.
Be in business for yourself, not by yourself. Contact Mike Condon today for a free consultation to find out if franchising is right for you!

We stop at the Rochester Mills because I know the IPA they have on tap is fresh. The building was once the Western Knitting Mills. Paint Creek and the Clinton River provided power for the first woolen mill on this site in 1844. Constructed in 1896, the Western Knitting Mills building was supported by a yarn mill, dormitories and two warehouses. One of the area’s largest employers, the mill produced wool, socks, gloves and mittens from 1896 to 1916 and khaki gloves for World War I soldiers, according the sign out front. The building was destroyed by fire several times in its history. When it was rebuilt for the final time, I learned on a downtown tour that its founder, William Chapman, organized the first formal fire department in Rochester and built two watchtowers on the top of the building to help prevent future fires.
