I always want the first signs of fall to happen sooner than our Colorado climate typically allows. Being a native I’ve always started dreaming of plaid skirts, chunk cardigans and cute boots normally when the afternoon temperatures are still well in the 80’s. Life is about looking forward, seeing what exciting things are around the horizon and taking comfort in resting and regrouping for the season ahead. When John isn’t out gallivanting abroad with sharks, he is in our beautiful valley helping people with their homes. Both on the inside and out.  John has been in the construction industry for over 25 years. He started off his career when he was 20 years old. He taught himself how to build cedar fences, then learned chain link and that led to learning more and more going onto landscaping and then remodels.

In 1997, he started building homes. He learned all the jobs involved with that and has been doing it ever since.  Mastering all of these skills, including customer service skills, has given John a really cool business model. He founded High Valley Enterprises to be centered on homeowner advocacy. John and his team have become well acquainted with 17 different insurance companies, “We sometimes spend more time with these insurance adjusters than our own families,” John continued, “We work with them so often that we have a good idea of what to expect from the agency right from the start. But we do go over the homeowner’s entire policy with the adjuster. Our job is to make sure the adjuster gets all the information the first time, but if they don’t, we are experts in supplementing those jobs and making sure the homeowner gets their maximum benefit.” When asked if homeowner advocacy is an extra cost for his services John said, “We don’t charge anything for the advocacy ser vice, we just ask that we get the work after insurance approves the work for theTheclaim.”   talents of John’s team are expan sive. From commercial roofing to foun dation repair, to getting rid of asbestos and fixing HVAC, and everything in between, “From dirt to roof,” John said, “we can do the work or coordinate to have it done, and we have a strict policy to get out to the homeowner within 24 hours and to have a bid to the home owner within 72 hours no matter how busy we are.”  When the team isn’t hard at work advocating for homeowners and fix ing their homes, you can find them at their offices in a farmhouse on 2042 F 3/4 road.
