Wellness isn’t about restricting — it’s really about giving. Giving to yourself and to your body in a way that allows them both to thrive. The cool part? The things that give to your body naturally give to your mind, your hormones, your earth, your relationships, and so on — it’s all beautifully interconnected in that way.
Work in partnership with your body. Listen to it, support it, give to it, forgive it — and I promise it’ll give back. Repeat after me: I love myself as the most important and committed partner I will ever have
Eat your greens, cook at home, choose local produce and quality meats, don’t be scared of healthy fats — but also support local farmers, move in a way that makes your body and mind feel good, prioritize times of mindfulness and stillness, fuel your body in a way that is sustainable for both you and the planet, practice gratitude and empathy, give yourself grace when you lose routine, don’t try to make changes overnight, ditch the guilt, and always always be kind to yourself.

The Royale Treatment
When you love your appearance, you feel empowered to pursue your goals.
With a degree in Cardiac Physiology, Dr. Charles Ivester has dedicated his life to the health and safety of his patients. These days his patients continue to be his priority, only now he enjoys the ability to be creative as he takes his decades of experience to the field of cosmetic surgery, where they treat aesthetic, health and wellness concerns. Dr. Charles Ivester and his wife, Angela Ivester, are the proud owners of Royale Aesthetics and Beauty. With them, you can rest assuredyou’re in expert, caring hands. Dr. Ivester earned a PHD in Cardiac Physiology and joined the Air Force as a military medic, which afforded him extensive experience in reconstructive and plastic surgery techniques. Additionally, he gained hands-on experience as a flight medic and paramedic. When not airborne he practiced in the emergency room specializing in suturing cuts and lacerations in complex cases. Angela has her own impressive medical background-with just over 15 years of experience in the field. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing, in order to become a certified registered nurse anesthetist (CRNA). relaxed space and appreciated how patient they were with my many questions. Drawing on his experience in prescribing medicine, Dr. Ivester uses only high-quality products to deliver best possible results for his patients. Additionally, he and Angie travel several times a year to attend conferences and stay abreast of best practices in the industry. Whether your concerns include signs of aging, hormonal imbalances, skin damage, or weight management struggles, Dr. Charles and Angela have performed thousands of simple and complex aesthetic procedures with a patient-centered focus. Thus, with a myriad of options to choose from, they have the ability to tailor the correct technology to patients. “We take a personalized approach to ensure you receive the best care and the results you desire in a luxurious and relaxing setting.” Whether you’re seeking to refresh your look, enhance your health, or boost your confidence, Dr. Ivester and Angela’s services are designed with you in mind. The treatment extends to services for men, so they too can achieve their
wellness goals, including enhanced energy levels, improved mental clarity, and supporting overall vitality. The Ivesters select products that are long-lasting, that work with the body’s natural healing process, are minimally invasive and have little to no down time. Instead of needing to schedule multiple visits with different doctors to have labs drawn and skin spots treated- the Iverson’s can do it all. Clients can skip scheduling and taking time for appointments with a primary care physician, a lab center, and dermatologist to handle
those concerns. The most rewarding aspect of their work is seeing the change in confidence that clients experience. As Angela frequently states, “Look good. Feel good. Do good.” Some clients come in after cancer treatments or other traumatic experiences and without much optimism. While going through difficult times is part of life, no one wants to wear the scars of those periods forever and some cosmetic professionals refuse to work with scar tissue. These are some of Dr. Ivester’s favorite patients- Seeing them leave with renewed confidence and a change in how they approach the world is where he and Angela feel the most fulfillment. The Ivesters work together to enhance your natural features and make sure to reflect your best self. Clients frequently remark on how often they receive compliments with no suspicion of having had treatments done. A true testament that the Ivester’s have fine-tuned their skills and techniques. Together they find joy by helping clients rejuvenate their aesthetic and their inner
confidence usually follows. The Ivesters are dedicated to helping you achieve a balanced, healthier life and improve your quality of life. Critics do not always understand the nature of their work, but they said it best on their website- “You deserve to feel powerful, vibrant, and in control of your body and appearance. We get that these aren’t just surface-level issues; they affect your confidence, energy, and how you show up in life. We’re here to help you reclaim that power and love for the person staring back at you.” Ogden is lucky to have the Ivester’s here to share their passion of helping our community rejuvenate, revitalize, and rediscover their best selves.

TRANSFORM YOUR MOTHER’S DAY CELEBRATION INTO AN UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCE WITH A STUNNING CHARCUTERIE BOARD
As Mother’s Day approaches, it’s time to go beyond traditional gifts and express your love with a feast for the senses. Create a captivating and vibrant charcuterie board that brings together a symphony of sweet and savory delights, edible rosettes and an array of delectable treats that are as pleasing to the eyes as they are to the palate.
CONTINUED >
At the heart of this spectacular spread, a bouquet of floral offerings takes center stage featuring assorted chocolate florets, delicate white rose wafers, and salami and cheese blossoms. Perfectly crafted and delicious, they establish the visual and gastronomic theme for the entire display. Accompanying the spread are glasses adorned with edible floral rims, beckoning you to sip and savor the essence of spring; dried lavender, marigold, rose, lemon peel and lily garnishes provide vibrancy and are entirely edible. Elevate the visual appeal with rosefolded napkins and a sprinkle of seasonal flowers atop layers of fresh greenery.
Complement your floral artistry with a curated variety of cheeses, prosciutto, colorful olives, fresh blueberries and strawberries, and candied oranges. Fragrant rosemary bread is perfectly paired with choice preserves, honey and olive oil.
Extend the creative flair to pastries, introducing a variety of shapes, colors and textures. Citrus-infused sugar cookies, raspberry tarts, mini strawberry Belgian waffles and salted caramels are visually alluring and add an extra layer of delight to the overall presentation.
The beauty of crafting a charcuterie board lies in its versatility – an opportunity to showcase your thoughtfulness and create an experience tailored to your loved ones. Consider swapping chocolates for macarons, experiment with your own garden herbs and infuse your spread with unique seasonal and local flavors. A charcuterTEA is a delightful way to make your mother feel extra special. Simply fill a teacup with her favorite confections and unique flavor combinations for an individual experience of love and gratitude.

From Stem To Vase:
TRANSFORMING FLORALS INTO ART
Flowers have a rich history of symbolic meanings.
As far back as the 19th century, they were used to convey secret messages. Stories throughout history recount how flowers were used to send hidden messages between people. French publishers began producing flower dictionaries that cataloged the many floral codes that had been gathered over time. Some of these meanings were linked to the flower’s root name, often derived from mythology, while others were drawn from the flowers themselves. The colors, medicinal properties, and even the superstitions
associated with these flowers all contributed to the creation of this secret language.
In addition to their symbolic significance, flowers bring natural beauty to any interior, enhancing spaces with their color, texture, and mood-boosting qualities. Floral arrangements not only create a cozy atmosphere but also infuse a room with personality, elevating the overall ambiance. There are multiple ways to creatively integrate florals into your home, and whether using fresh or artificial flowers, creative displays can make quite the statement piece.
Florals and Fruit
“Not only will the flowers’ fragrance fill the air, but the citrus notes from the fruit will add a refreshing scent.”
Add an extra burst of color and texture to your floral arrangement by layering fruit around the edges of your vase. To achieve this, place a smaller vase inside a larger one, ensuring the flowers stay contained in the inner vase to preserve their shape. Fill the surrounding space with water and then arrange sliced fruit along the vase’s outer sides. For a fresh touch, add ice cubes to keep the fruit looking vibrant longer and to hold them in place. Not only will the flowers’ fragrance fill the air, but the citrus notes from the fruit will add a refreshing scent.
Flower Frogs
Using a frog to display flowers creates a minimalist yet elegant look that highlights the individuality of each bloom. It helps the stems stay in place. To set it up, place the frog on your chosen display base, whether it’s a vase, bowl, platter, or any container you prefer. Then, simply insert the flower stems by gently pressing them into the prongs. Tip: Flowers with sturdy stems and a lighter top work best in a frog, as delicate blooms tend to lose their shape more quickly.
“Tip: Flowers with sturdy stems and a lighter top work best in a frog, as delicate blooms tend to lose their shape more quickly.”
Hanging Florals
For a dramatic effect, try creating a hanging floral display. Floral cones are available for this style, or you can craft your own for a more personalized, organic look. The contrast between long-stemmed white flowers and a dark wall creates a striking visual impact.
No matter how you choose to display them, flowers are a wonderful addition to any room. They boost mood, improve air quality, spark creativity, and bring a decorative charm to any space.
DIY DAY
INSPIRATION FOR A MOTHER/ DAUGHTER DIY DAY
WITH MOM
ARTICLE BY MEL BOBAN
An afternoon spent together is priceless with today’s busy schedules. Instead of going out, staying in can provide quaint, quiet one-on-one time for a mother and daughter (or multiple daughters). Finding time on calendars is the hard part, and filling that time is all fun from there. Here are a few favorite ideas for inspiration that may spark excitement for planning those special times together.
01 Charm Necklaces
Custom DIY charm necklaces and bracelets are trending. Gather a theme idea: birthstones, family initials, travels or even favorite hobbies, and procure charms from your local craft store or online shop. Selecting charms for each other also could be a fun way to bring delight to the crafting occasion. Necklaces and bracelets can be made for each other, or as future gifts for upcoming occasions such as a family wedding, a birthday milestone or an anniversary.
03 Meal Prep
Text conversations around kitchen tips or ingredient procurement seem endless. Spend some time together in the kitchen preparing favorite family recipes, sharing Mom’s best tips and tricks. Choosing freezer-friendly meals is a great way to walk away with meals for upcoming busy days. There’s nothing like Mom’s recipes!
Storytelling makes for the best memories. Structure memory recall by filming or journaling interview-style question-and-answer sessions, cataloging information for future generations. Videos and notes with detailed family adventures are priceless, and we all always wish we had more of them.

Chef Dennis Prescott Talks Falling in Love with Feeding People and the Connection
Food Creates
Whether you know him from the Netflix hit Restaurants on the Edge or from his absolutely mouth-watering food photos as @dennistheprescott on the ‘gram, this former-musician turned internationally-renowned Chef is an amazingly talented, thoughtful, and globe-trotting force to be reckoned with.
When it comes to inspiration for creating experiences around food and your community, as well as creating travel bucket lists to some of the world’s most unique and delicious destinations off the beaten path, Chef ‘Dennis The Prescott’ is a culinary change maker whose feed you’ll want to feast on.
Travel Recommendations for Foodies
“Slovenia borders Italy and Croatia, which is to say there are a lot of shared values in and around food; they have really great cheese, dairy, beef, pasta, but very few tourists, hardly any. So if you love Italy, that kind of specific travel and food experience, particularly Northern Italy, because you can see the Alps from where they are. It’s picture perfect, a beautiful place, and also where orange wine is from.”
Dennis also highly recommends Costa Rica, Hawaii and Finland.
“Most people love the idea of travel, but we tend to pick the same places when we travel, and there is nothing wrong with that, they are amazing for a reason, but when you get off the beaten path a little bit, you learn the difference between vacation and travel.”
