LIFESTYLE LETTER

Celebrating Style in Paradise Style is such an extraordinary part of life—it’s far more than the clothes we wear or the accessories we choose. Style is woven into every detail of our existence, from the way we decorate our homes to the art and music we enjoy, the books we read, and even how we interact with the world around us. It’s the unique thread that creates the tapestry of who we are. What makes style so captivating is its deeply personal nature. It evolves alongside us as we explore new interests, embrace our quirks, and express what we value most. It’s a language without words, a powerful tool for connection that can bridge differences and spark shared understanding. Here in Naples, we’re fortunate to have endless opportunities to celebrate and explore style. Whether it’s through visiting local boutiques, supporting creative entrepreneurs, or simply drawing inspiration from our city’s vibrant culture, there’s so much to ignite your creativity and lift your spirit. This month, I encourage you to think of style as an authentic expression of yourself. The most beautiful style is one that reflects who you truly are—your passions, your story, your individuality. And the incredible thing is that no one else in the world can replicate that. So go ahead, celebrate your unique style. Whether you’re exploring new trends, blending classic elements, or creating something entirely original, let this issue inspire you to embrace the power of self-expression. Here’s to being unapologetically and uniquely you! Cheers!

The Childress Legacy Where Family, Enterprise, and Philanthropy Come Together Success can be measured in many ways—by businesses built, investments managed, or milestones achieved. For Rick and Raimonda Childress, however, the true measure of success has always been found in something far more enduring: the legacy they leave through family, service, entrepreneurship, and generosity. Together, the Childresses represent a unique partnership where financial stewardship, visionary entrepreneurship, and a passion for giving back intersect. Their lives reflect a shared belief that wealth is more than financial prosperity—it is an opportunity to create meaningful impact for future generations.

A PARTNERSHIP BUILT ON PURPOSE

For decades, Rick Childress has dedicated his career to helping families preserve, grow, and thoughtfully transfer wealth. As a Wealth Advisor with Agape Wealth Partners, Rick has earned the trust of clients through a relationship-driven approach grounded in integrity, thoughtful planning, and long-term perspective. His work extends beyond investment management, focusing on helping families define what financial success truly means for each generation. Complementing Rick’s financial expertise is Raimonda Childress, founder and owner of BU Club, a luxury boutique in Naples, Florida, known for bringing curated European fashion, designer fragrances, and personalized luxury experiences to Southwest Florida. Her entrepreneurial vision has transformed BU Club into more than a boutique—it has become a destination where elegance, hospitality, and personal relationships define every client experience. While their professional paths are different, they are united by a common philosophy: excellence begins with serving people.

FAMILY FIRST

Long before titles and businesses, Rick and Raimonda built something even more meaningful—a strong family. Together they have raised a blended family of five children while embracing the joy of grandchildren, believing that their greatest investment has never been financial assets but the values passed from one generation to the next. Integrity. Faith. Kindness. Hard work. Generosity. These principles shape every decision they make, both personally and professionally.

BUILDING BUSINESSES WITH HEART

Throughout their careers, the Childresses have demonstrated that successful businesses can also enrich communities. Rick’s work centers on helping families build financial confidence while navigating life’s most significant milestones. Raimonda’s entrepreneurial journey reflects creativity, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. Through BU Club, she has introduced European luxury brands to Naples while creating an environment where women feel inspired, confident, and celebrated. Both believe that lasting businesses are built not merely through transactions, but through authentic relationships.

A COMMITMENT TO PHILANTHROPY Giving has always been woven into the fabric of the Childress family’s life. Their philanthropic philosophy extends beyond financial contributions to include time, leadership, mentorship, and active community involvement. They believe every successful enterprise carries a responsibility to strengthen the community it serves. Their vision includes supporting initiatives focused on: • Children’s health and education • Family empowerment • Women’s entrepreneurship • Arts and culture • Community development • Leadership opportunities for future generations For Rick and Raimonda, philanthropy is not an event—it is a lifelong commitment.

LOOKING TOWARD THE FUTURE

As they continue building businesses and expanding their impact, the Childresses remain focused on creating something larger than themselves. Their vision includes growing meaningful enterprises, supporting charitable organizations, mentoring future entrepreneurs, and establishing a lasting family legacy rooted in generosity and purpose. They understand that true wealth is measured not only by what is accumulated during a lifetime, but by what continues long after.

A LEGACY IN THE MAKING

Rick and Raimonda Childress represent a modern partnership built on complementary strengths—financial wisdom and entrepreneurial vision, professional excellence and personal compassion. Together, they continue to demonstrate that the most meaningful legacy is one defined by faith, family, service, and the positive difference made in the lives of others. Because in the end, success is not simply about what you build. It is about who you build it for, who you lift along the way, and the legacy you leave for generations to come. ANY LOCAL DESIGNERS, BOUTIQUES, OR STYLE MAKERS YOU’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW? I haven’t been in Naples long, but a boutique that stands out to me is the Augusta clothing company for a couple of reasons. It is family owned and operated by the Hoffman family. I love that it’s a family business and that this family really invests and builds into Naples. I also love the aesthetic of this brick and mortar and the variation of designers that they bring to Fifth Avenue. WHAT’S THE ONE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT? My Rosemary Hat from Linen and Flax, perfect for a beach day or stroll through Old Naples. HOW DO YOU THINK STYLE EXTENDS BEYOND WHAT WE WEAR? I believe style is much more than what you wear, it’s how you live. Creating a life that is authentic to you…timeless, intentional, and welcoming. True style reflects who you are long before anyone notices what you are wearing.

Chaz Ceto TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. As founder and creative director for Linen and Flax my role is to lead our interior design studio in Atlanta and expand our reach to Naples, Florida. In addition to that role, continuing our reach as a lifestyle brand with apparel and home goods that inspire. HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS? IF SO, HOW? Yes, I have leaned more into quiet luxury vs loud fashion and fast fashion trends. Quality over quantity with an elevated classic style. WHAT’S ONE FASHION RULE YOU ALWAYS FOLLOW—AND ONE YOU ALWAYS BREAK? Choose timeless over trendy. One fashion rule I always break is that I wear neutrals whenever it feels right, regardless of season.

HOW DOES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE SHOW UP IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE? I don’t just curate a wardrobe, I curate a way of living. I don’t see fashion, interiors and lifestyle as being separate. Personally and professionally my goal is always to create something that feels beautiful, authentic, and timeless. WHAT STYLE MEMORY STANDS OUT FROM CHILDHOOD—SOMETHING A PARENT, GRANDPARENT, OR MENTOR WORE OR TAUGHT YOU? The power of a handbag. It can make an ordinary outfit extraordinary and elevate the style to the next level. Jeans, a white T-shirt and the perfect bag are always a good idea. My grandmother had beautiful bags no matter what she wore. She always looked classic, that has stuck with me. CONTINUED >

feminine, and sophisticated without ever feeling stuffy. That’s something I’ve naturally gravitated toward over the years, and it’s the look I feel my best in today.

Alyse Fratto TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. I’ve been modeling since I was seven years old, so fashion has always been a huge part of who I am. It’s given me incredible opportunities and has shaped so much of my life. Today, I’m also honored to serve as the President of the Southwest Florida Young Republicans, where I enjoy connecting with people and encouraging others to get involved in their community. To me, fashion and leadership are both about confidence, integrity, and having the courage to be yourself. Being able to combine my lifelong love of fashion with serving my community has been one of the most rewarding parts of this chapter of my life. HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS? IF SO, HOW? My style has definitely evolved as I’ve gotten older and become more confident in what feels like me. I’ve learned that I don’t have to follow every trend to feel stylish. I’m most inspired by the women of the 1950s and 1960s. There was such an effortless elegance to the way they dressed. Their style was polished,

LOCA L LIM E LIGH T | ARTS + CU LT U RE

WHAT’S ONE FASHION RULE YOU ALWAYS FOLLOW—AND ONE YOU ALWAYS BREAK? I always believe that fit is everything. The most beautiful outfit in the world won’t look its best if it doesn’t fit well. As for the rule I break, I don’t believe you have to chase every trend. I’d much rather invest in timeless pieces that I’ll love for years than wear something just because it’s popular for the moment. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE NAPLES STYLE? WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE? Naples style is classically chic. People here have a way of looking polished without looking like they tried too hard. There’s a beautiful balance of coastal living and sophistication. You’ll see classic pieces, natural fabrics, and a lot of neutrals that fit our lifestyle and the beautiful surroundings. It’s understated luxury, and I think that’s what makes it so unique. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE IN THREE WORDS? Classic, timeless, feminine.

ANY LOCAL DESIGNERS, BOUTIQUES, OR STYLE MAKERS YOU’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW? Beyond any one boutique, I’m inspired by the people who have shaped Naples into a destination where fashion feels both elevated and approachable. There’s a genuine appreciation for craftsmanship, individuality, and timeless style here, which I think is what makes the local fashion scene so special. It’s less about following trends and more about finding pieces that become part of your personal story.

Dagney Wysong TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. I have the privilege of building businesses and relationships around one central belief: exceptional experiences create lasting connections. As a strategic business development and marketing executive, I work with organizations ranging from luxury brands to motorsports, helping them grow through relationship-driven strategy, partnerships, and elevated customer experiences. Through my work with Skip Barber Racing School’s Drivers Club and my consulting company, Strada D’Oro, I focus on creating opportunities where business, lifestyle, and community naturally intersect. Whether I’m developing partnerships, advising executives, or creating memorable events, my goal is always the same: to build communities where people feel connected, inspired, and eager to return. For me, success has never been measured solely by transactions, but by the relationships and trust that continue long after the first introduction.

WHAT’S THE ONE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT? A great pair of heels. There’s something about putting on a beautiful pair of shoes that changes the way you carry yourself. They don’t just complete an outfit, they change your posture, your confidence, and your presence. IS THERE A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU CARRY WITH YOU EVERY DAY? One piece of advice I carry with me is to always leave people better than you found them. Whether it’s through a conversation, a business relationship, or a simple act of kindness, I believe the greatest impact we can have is in how we make others feel. Success comes and goes, but your character, your integrity, and the way you treat people are what leave a lasting legacy. I try to let that guide both my personal life and my professional life every day. CONTINUED >

WHO ARE YOUR STYLE ICONS—PAST OR PRESENT? I have always loved Carolyn BessetteKennedy and her effortless, chic style. And of course Victoria Beckham, past and present!

Rachael Williams TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. I own a local business called Glow to Go Naples. We are SWFL’s premier mobile spray tanning company, offering our clients customized airbrush tanning within the comfort of their own home. Our solutions are clean and organic and render the most natural looking results. Perfect for brides and anyone looking for that extra glow! WHAT’S ONE FASHION RULE YOU ALWAYS FOLLOW—AND ONE YOU ALWAYS BREAK? A fashion rule I always follow is dress for what you know works for your body, and not what’s trending at the moment. One I’m not afraid to break is wearing white after Labor Day! WHAT’S THE ONE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT? A fashion sneaker is the one thing I reach for most in my closet. An easy way to elevate more casual looks, and still comfortable enough to chase around my two kids!

WHAT STYLE MEMORY STANDS OUT FROM CHILDHOOD—SOMETHING A PARENT, GRANDPARENT, OR MENTOR WORE OR TAUGHT YOU? As a child I can remember my grandmother having the best style. She had jewelry to match every outfit she wore and an extensive shoe collection. I would spend hours trying them on. This was where my lifelong love affair with high heels began at an early age. WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU’RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON— PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY? My focus for this upcoming season is to be better at delegating tasks and outsourcing where it makes sense. I tend to be a “I can do it myself“ type of person but moving into 2027, I need to remember it’s important to work smarter not harder! IS THERE A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU CARRY WITH YOU EVERY DAY? I’d rather be overdressed than underdressed for any occasion, because you can only make a first impression once!

ANY LOCAL DESIGNERS, BOUTIQUES, OR STYLE MAKERS YOU’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW? I am a loyal Saks Fifth Avenue shopper, I love Cinq A Sept, Akris, Vince and Theory. WHAT’S THE ONE ITEM IN YOUR CLOSET YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT? My Chanel beige bag, it coordinates with every outfit. HOW DO YOU THINK STYLE EXTENDS BEYOND WHAT WE WEAR? Having great style is a feeling of confidence. Feeling fabulous in your own skin has no price tag.

Dina Giordano TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. I am a certified trichologist and cosmetologist at N.Color Salon. Trichology is the scientific study of hair and scalp diseases and disorders under a microscope contributing to hair loss. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PERSONAL STYLE IN THREE WORDS? Sophisticated, timeless elegance and classy. HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS? IF SO, HOW? Yes, in my adult years I am embracing my natural beauty and trying to stop changing myself due to trends. I found what works for my look and I go with it. I do the same for my clients. HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE NAPLES STYLE? WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE? Refined understated elegance. Naples is not ostentatious, flashy or loud and it doesn’t boast.

HOW DOES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE SHOW UP IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE? Behind the chair I am inspiring women and men to look their very best. IS THERE A PIECE OF ADVICE YOU CARRY WITH YOU EVERY DAY? Live every day like it’s your last! WHAT STYLE MEMORY STANDS OUT FROM CHILDHOOD—SOMETHING A PARENT, GRANDPARENT, OR MENTOR WORE OR TAUGHT YOU? My Mother always taught me my shoes should always match my pants or skirt, not my blouse; it creates an elongated look. WHAT’S SOMETHING YOU’RE CURRENTLY WORKING ON— PERSONALLY OR PROFESSIONALLY? Advancing my trichology knowledge to help individuals suffering from hair loss holistically. CONTINUED >

WHAT’S ONE FASHION RULE YOU ALWAYS FOLLOW—AND ONE YOU ALWAYS BREAK? Follow: Invest in timeless staples. Trends come and go, but well-made, classic pieces never go out of style. Break: I don’t believe every outfit needs heels or a handbag to feel complete. Sometimes a simple tee, tailored shorts, and great accessories are just as chic as a dress and heels. ANY LOCAL DESIGNERS, BOUTIQUES, OR STYLE MAKERS YOU’RE LOVING RIGHT NOW? I love supporting local boutiques because they offer pieces that feel unique and personal. Carter & Finley is always a favorite for timeless staples. Love Celine and Rouze will always be favorites too!

Elena Griffin TELL US ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS OR ROLE IN THE COMMUNITY. I’m the co-founder of Pink Shark Media, a boutique marketing agency based in Naples. We partner with businesses and nonprofits to elevate their brand through strategic marketing, content creation, photography, and social media. Every day looks a little different, but my favorite part is helping local businesses stand out while contributing to the growth of our community. HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS? IF SO, HOW? I’ve become much more intentional with what I wear. I still love getting dressed up, but I’ve learned that style doesn’t have to be complicated to make an impact. These days I gravitate toward timeless pieces that can be dressed up or down depending on the day. Living in Naples has definitely influenced that balance.

HOW DO YOU THINK STYLE EXTENDS BEYOND WHAT WE WEAR? Style is really about how you carry yourself. It’s in your confidence, the way you make people feel, and the details you choose, whether that’s how you dress, decorate your home, or present your work. WHO ARE YOUR STYLE ICONS— PAST OR PRESENT? Ralph Lauren has always been a favorite with timeless, effortless style. I also love the polished, feminine looks of Olivia Palermo. HOW DOES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE SHOW UP IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE? I like to look put together without feeling overdressed. Whether I’m meeting clients, on a content shoot, or grabbing coffee, I want my style to feel polished but not over the top.

T H E STOR M Won’t Wait. What's in your house? A new South Florida technology platform asks homeowners a deceptively simple question — and is betting that answering it now beats reconstructing it after the storm when it’s too late. The Harpers had hours. Not days — hours. They loaded the car the way every coastal family eventually does: valuables, photographs, a folder of documents, the dog, the kids' hamster, and then they drove for higher ground and watched the looming sky behind them. What they came home to was not a house so much as the idea of one. Furniture, electronics, a lifetime of small accumulations — gone, swept out with the tide or ruined in knee deep mud. Then came the part nobody warns you about. Rebuilding the life they'd lost, the Harpers first had to prove the life they lived. No inventory. No receipts. A memory already going soft at the edges. So, they began the archaeology of their own household — bank statements, calls to stores that barely remembered the transaction, phone photos scrolled for a glimpse of a couch, a television,

26

a handbag, a pair of shoes, a suit, a watch. They gave it 6 months. Then gave up. In the end, they recalled and recovered less than half of what they had- and were owed. The other half simply could not be remembered.

THE LINE ITEM NOBODY ADDS

Every storm season, South Florida runs its familiar ritual. Water by the case. Batteries. Phone chargers. Shutters within reach. Homeowners are diligent, even practiced, about preparing for a storm. What almost no one prepares for is the paperwork the storm leaves behind. The record of what you own tends to get written only after the roof is gone and open to the wind and rain — which is to say, at the exact moment it cannot be written at all. This is not a small oversight. It is the point where families lose real value, and they lose it at the worst possible time. The fact remains, an insurer reimburses what you can prove, not what you actually had. After a disaster, the average homeowner

DocuList, the next generation home inventory and assetmanagement can summon back only a fraction of a home's contents from memory. The distance between the two — between what was lost and what can be documented is costly – and paid out of pocket. For the growing number of homeowners who self-insure, carrying the risk themselves, the math is even more stark. There is no claim to back up. The record is the safety net. There is no other.

WHAT DOCULIST ACTUALLY IS

DocuList, the next generation home inventory and asset-management platform, is built around a single contrarian premise: do the remembering before you need it. The idea is to catalog a household while the household still exists. Housewares, artwork, electronics, furniture, jewelry, tools, vehicles, even clothing and accessories — each gets a digital record, kept in the cloud rather than in a drawer that can flood or burn. One recent inventory of just one closet full of items cataloged 124 items totaling $58,760, logged and cataloged in advance and ready to support a claim before a single dark cloud had formed offshore. Aimed at the obvious candidate — the homeowner watching the season approach — but also at the self-insured owner who carries the loss alone, the family settling into a new house, the renter who wants proof that their belongings are theirs, and anyone who would simply rather document now than reconstruct later under far worse conditions.

platform, is built around a single contrarian premise: do the remembering before you need it.

HOW IT WORKS

Cataloging your items is a matter of minutes, not weekends. Photograph an item or scan its receipt, and DocuList logs it — purchase date, cost, warranty, the related paperwork — and files the record where it belongs. Take ten minutes to do the primary closet or capture the whole house in a single afternoon before the weather turns.

Joe Barnes and Jim Byrne, founders

From there the record lives in the cloud, secure, reachable from a phone even after an evacuation, even with the power down. Preparation reminders prompt the work worth finishing before a storm — trimming trees away from the roofline, securing loose fencing, checking the generator, clearing gutters before the rain comes. Every receipt, photograph, and service record is neatly organized and connected to the item it belongs to, which is precisely the connection that falls apart when disaster forces you to rebuild it from memory.

BEFORE THE NEXT WARNING IS ISSUED

Storm prep has always meant stocking up and battening down. It has rarely meant knowing, line by line, what sits inside the home you're working so hard to protect — though that knowledge is worth more than any generator. The Harpers spent 6 months trying to reassemble the list they wish they'd had. Too late. The case DocuList is making is that the catalog can exist before the first storm warning appears— that the remembering can be finished in advance, on a calm afternoon, in your living room, with the lights and A/C on.

Helping You Find Your Place in Paradise

One of the best parts of my career is helping friends and longtime clients find not just a home, but a lifestyle they truly love. As a Realtor serving both the Boston area and Southwest Florida, I have the privilege of helping people make that exciting transition, and I genuinely love every minute of it.

Victoria Dimino Real Estate Agent When longtime clients recently started looking for a second home in Southwest Florida, I couldn’t have been more excited. Naples has been my second home since the 90’s, so introducing them to a place that has meant so much to me was incredibly rewarding. We toured beautiful homes, but we also spent time exploring my favorite beaches, waterfront restaurants, local shops, and neighborhoods. It became much more than a home search. It became an experience. I truly believe that finding the right home is only half the journey. Finding the community that fits your personality and lifestyle is just as important. Whether you’re dreaming of mornings on the golf course, boating in the Gulf, relaxing on the beach, or enjoying the incredible dining and culture that Southwest Florida has to offer, there is a place that’s the perfect fit.

What I love most is seeing that moment when my clients realize they’ve found it. Not just the right house, but the place where they can picture making memories for years to come. Every time someone tells me they’re thinking about buying in Southwest Florida, I get excited because I know I can offer more than local market knowledge.
