This spring, Naples Fashion Week raised the bar, staging one of its most buzzed about shows to date against the bold, high octane backdrop of Ferrari Naples. But while the setting turned heads, it was the fashion that truly commanded attention.
The runway pulsed with global talent, featuring standout collections from internationally celebrated couture designers Rosita Hurtado and Carlos Merchan. Their work brought a sophisticated edge to the evening, blending old world craftsmanship with sharp, contemporary tailoring. From sculpted gowns to impeccably cut power pieces, the designs were more than garments—they were declarations of identity, culture, and confidence.
Guests arrived dressed to impress, and the atmosphere was electric from the moment the first model stepped out. The styling was refined, the production flawless, and the crowd? A curated blend of industry insiders, influencers, and devoted fashion lovers, all gathered to celebrate artistry in its highest form.
But this was more than a show. It marked a turning point: Naples Fashion Week has evolved into a true cultural force, bridging Southwest Florida with international design houses, emerging talent, and elevated experiences. It reaffirmed what we’ve always believed: Naples isn’t just observing fashion, it’s shaping it.
With Spring 2025 now in the books, all eyes are on the future. This fall, we’ll return with another curated showcase building on the momentum of seasons past. And next spring, Fashion Week returns in full stride, introducing new names, bold perspectives, and a continued commitment to redefining what fashion in Florida can be.

Streamsong
Golf’s Hidden Destination You’ll Never Want to Leave
If you’re a golfer like us—do yourself a favor and put Streamsong Golf Resort on your list. Tim and I just got back from a trip there, and I can honestly say it was one of the best golf getaways we’ve ever had.
Located just about two hours from Naples, Streamsong feels like a hidden oasis. It’s remote enough to feel like you’ve truly escaped, but close enough to be an easy drive. From the moment we arrived, it felt like a golfer’s playground—equal parts luxury, adventure, and total relaxation.
One of the most unique aspects of Streamsong is its history. The resort was built on land once used for phosphate mining, which shaped the dramatic, dune-like landscape that now defines its world-class golf courses.
Located in Florida’s “Bone Valley,” the area is famous for its abundance of prehistoric fossils—including massive shark teeth that were uncovered during construction. In fact, one
of those sharks was so enormous, they reconstructed it—and you can see it featured in the video on our Instagram. It’s just one more way Streamsong brings the past and present together in the most unexpected, fascinating way.
We played all four of their award-winning courses (yes, four—and a fifth is on the way within the next 18 months!), and I have to say: we played the best golf of our lives. Each course is unique, but the Streamsong Black course really stood out—not just for the challenge, but because it has some of the largest greens in the entire United States. It’s no wonder Streamsong has 3 courses on the list of the top 25 public golf courses in America. That’s ahead of some pretty legendary spots—yes, even Pinehurst!

One of the smartest choices we made was playing with a caddy. They’re available on all four courses, and I highly recommend it. Our caddy was incredibly knowledgeable, made us feel like pros, and honestly made the experience even more fun. The whole atmosphere at Streamsong is just different—relaxed but refined, with a real emphasis on enjoying the game and the setting.
But golf was just part of the magic. After our rounds, we’d unwind by the
pool, hit up the game rooms and simulators (Tim was obsessed), and cap off each day with some truly fantastic meals. Whether we were enjoying a casual bite or a more elevated dinner, the food was consistently delicious.
It’s worth mentioning that Streamsong has a bit of a celebrity connection, too—Charlie Woods, Tiger’s son, recently won a junior event here. It’s that kind of place: elite but approachable, and still a bit of a secret...for now.

Wilcoxson Consulting, and I have a nonprofit Building Better Boys I have had about 5 years. I help get the best candidates elected for office. My catch is this, I don’t chase every dollar. I have to like you and believe in you. One of my greatest clients as a man and friend is Gary Price. I worked his grassroots campaign and came up 12 votes short. It was ours to win but a little interference stopped me from being the victor. A few of my other clients are serving and doing extremely well. I served as the Senior Advisor to Congressman Byron Donalds. As being the founder of Building Better Boys, I felt it was needed. So many young boys do not have mentors to teach them “LIFE”. This is why I founded the nonprofit. I was derailed and put it to the side as I focused on DC politics where I became very successful in what I do. With the kids of our community I feel it’s important to reach one and teach one. I grew up in a very impoverished area with one of the highest crime rates per capita in Florida. So I want to try to help the youth maneuver through tough situations, be focused and make great decisions no matter the pressure at hand.
HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS?
Yes it has. I added more jewels, glasses and different brands into my wardrobe. I used to be only a Polo / Ralph Lauren type of guy. Even with my shoes. Now majority of my shoes are Christian Louboutins and Cole Haan. I often state that if the bottom isn’t red, I’m not wearing them. I have a good thirty-two pairs of them.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE NAPLES STYLE? WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?
Naples for men is very bland. I have a midwest style. Very flamboyant. My suits are three pieces with a top hat. I bring that Chicago, Detroit, St. Louis and Kansas City type of swag as far as business. I love the pinstripe. The men here are still wearing Brooks Brothers, JoS A Banks. Not me. I love flavor. I wear the Kangol aka as the apple. I think the women’s fashion is amazing and unbelievable. They wear everything at anytime. It all goes. The boutiques have it to where they mesh well with the tropical, business casual, casual and golf attire. I love it.

I started a local jewelry company as a hobby and escape from my busy Real Estate Career. It quickly turned into a passion and with the love and support of family, friends, community and a little bit of luck I hit the ground running. I was so surprised that people were actually interested in purchasing my jewelry. I am currently selling in local stores, including Bad Ass Coffee in Olde Naples, Southern Tide in Mercato & Marco Island, The Paper Lantern Gift Boutique & in the process of working on a few other local boutiques.
HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED OVER THE YEARS? IF SO, HOW?
As a former New Yorker, black was my color. Since living in Naples for 25 years I have shifted to pretty colors, textures & fabrics with more of a laid back tropical feel.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE NAPLES STYLE? WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE?
I think Naples style has really evolved over the last decade with access to almost world class shopping, fun boutiques and a new “Younger” feel. I love the ability for myself and to see others dress up or be casual whether you’re going to Campiello’s or Celebration Park, anything works here!
HOW DOES YOUR PERSONAL STYLE SHOW UP IN YOUR PROFESSIONAL LIFE?
Being a Jewelry Designer I incorporate all of my pieces to fit with what I am wearing daily. I am always wearing a stack of bracelets, a new necklace I just made or some fun stackable rings. I am a walking display!
HOW DO YOU THINK STYLE EXTENDS BEYOND WHAT WE WEAR?
Absolutely! I think it shows up in how we present and carry ourselves is an extension of our style.

I custom design all of my work clothes with a local Clothier named Ron Brodeur. I have been using him for many years. He understands my needs and how important it is to get them tailored to fit perfectly.

Shoes. In my opinion, shoes make the outfit. This holds true for cars also. Wheels make the car.

My style is a reflection of my personality. It shows that I am confident but approachable. Someone welldressed shows they put thought into how they look.

Treat others the way you want to be treated is how I live my life. Be kind to everyone.

Personally, I try to live a healthy lifestyle by working out daily and eating good. Although one of my favorite things to do is go out to eat. Our mission is to spotlight creativity, support emerging talent, and bring global fashion energy to Southwest Florida. Through curated runway shows, trunk shows, and community events, we connect local audiences with designers, artists, and brands from around the world. Beyond fashion, we aim to build cultural momentum in the area—hosting experiences that blend art, style, and meaningful connection. My role is both creative and strategic: I oversee event production, brand partnerships, and community engagement to ensure every activation is impactful and inspiring.

I like the look of a jacket that dresses up casual. I just think it is a sharp look. I learned it from a mentor I had when I was very young.

I’m a hairstylist with over 25 years of experience. In Ukraine, I owned two salons, conducted masterclasses across Europe, and worked as a brand educator. Now based in Florida, I continue working in a salon setting. I’m actively involved in the local community by helping people feel confident and beautiful, and by mentoring emerging stylists in their careers.

Yes, my style has evolved significantly over the years. Early in my career, I was inspired by classic shapes and precise lines. Over time, through international experience and exposure to diverse cultures, my approach became more free, creative, and personalized. Today, I aim to blend aesthetics, fashion, and comfort to create looks that highlight each person’s individuality.

One fashion rule I always follow is that a look should reflect a person’s individuality and inner confidence. The rule I love to break is “don’t mix prints” — sometimes the most unexpected combinations create the boldest and most stylish results.

JR Nocera has now been at the family shop—Supreme Collision, founded in 1973—for an incredible 46 years. When he took over the body shop from his father, Johnny Nocera, in 1999, there were just two people working there. Fast forward
in Naples since 1973. We’ve grown with the town, and I couldn’t be happier to expand the business while watching my kids find their own path in it.”

to 2025, and the shop has grown to a team of 32 dedicated professionals.
But none of the 32 make JR as proud— or as happy—as his two sons: Nicolas Nocera and AJ Nocera.
AJ has become one of the shop’s high-end painters, known for his precision and eye for detail. Nicolas, JR’s youngest, is already turning heads in the industry at just 18 years old. “He’s doing things now that some body men can’t do even after 10 years in the business,” JR says with pride.
“It’s really great going to work every day knowing your two boys are right there with you. And my daughter, Paige Nocera—who runs Events with Paige—is just two doors down in the same building,” JR adds. “I’ve seen so many changes
fall, Nicolas heads off to Clemson University to study business. “I’ll lose him as a worker, but gain even more pride as a father.”
Supreme Collision has become a trusted name, known as a certified collision center for multiple brands and a direct repair facility for 11 major insurance companies. JR credits a big part of their growth to the Germain family, who in 1999 selected Supreme Collision as the repair shop for their Lexus, BMW, and Honda dealerships. “That partnership truly changed my life,” JR reflects.

Yevhen Yevtushenko
With over 25 years of experience, Ukrainianborn stylist Yevhen Yevtushenko has transformed his passion into a powerful international career — one shaped by vision, resilience, and a deep love for the art of hair.
Yevhen’s journey began at just 15 years old in a small Ukrainian town. After giving his father a poorly executed haircut that ended in a shaved head, he received not criticism, but encouragement. “Well, now there’s nowhere to go but up,” his father said. That moment sparked a lifetime pursuit of beauty and excellence.
While still in high school, Yevhen began cutting hair for friends and sketching hairstyles during math class. Though his mother saw his potential and sent him to beauty school, his father encouraged a more traditional route — engineering. Yevhen chose both. He studied environmental systems by day and hair design by night, traveling between cities to complete dual degrees. This intense period shaped his belief that hairstyling was more than aesthetics — it was identity work.
At the Kyiv Academy of Hairdressing Art, his talent blossomed. His creative visions, often inspired by dreams, led to competitive success: he became a three-time Kyiv Cup champion, a national Ukrainian styling champion, and a medalist at the 2008 World Hairdressing Championship in Italy, where he ranked 4th among 53 competitors from 27 countries.
Recognized for his technical skills and artistic approach, Yevhen was soon invited to teach masterclasses, mentor aspiring stylists, and develop educational content for both YouTube and national TV broadcasts.
He became a national trainer for Paul Mitchell Ukraine and eventually opened two salons, later expanding his role as a creative director for several others. In this capacity, he trained salon teams of up to 40 stylists, developing internal education systems and mentoring leadership.

London and attending top industry expos in New York and Las Vegas. His work and educational outreach earned him national recognition — including a feature in the Ukrainian Book of Records for outstanding contribution to the hairdressing industry.
When the war in Ukraine began, Yevhen made the difficult decision to relocate with his family. Arriving in Florida with no network and no clients, he began again from scratch — armed only with his scissors, his skill, and his vision. He earned his U.S. cosmetology license and now works as an independent hairstylist in Naples, Florida.
Despite starting over, Yevhen quickly established himself in the local industry, earning the trust of American clients through precision, professionalism, and empathy. He now has a new goal: to open a training-focused salon and academy in Florida — a place where international methods and local inspiration intersect. His vision includes mentoring immigrant stylists, sharing global techniques, and offering advanced training to elevate the industry.
“Hair isn’t just hair,” he says. “It’s self-expression, it’s emotion, it’s transformation. When we change someone’s look, we can change the way they walk, talk, and feel. That’s the power of this profession.”
Today, Yevhen Yevtushenko continues his journey as an artist, educator, and entrepreneur. His story is not only about scissors and styling, but about the courage to begin again — and the power of creativity to cross borders, unite communities, and rebuild dreams.
