A Love Letter To My Girls

Growing up I was never the little girl that daydreamed of mothering little babies or being a quintessential home-maker. You would usually find me in my room, not playing barbies, but dressing them. If you have been around me for more than five minutes this probably wouldn't surprise you. I'm dry, forgetful, last minute, somewhat crude, and not very sentimental (unless we're talking about New York). The word I use to sum marize myself is messy.

I'm not convinced that anyone reads my Lifestyle Letter every month. (Hey Mom, Hey Dad!) But if you have, you've probably quickly realized that my life truly began with Matt, my husband. At 17 years old he taught me how to love someone, and to love even those I already loved...better. It might be an odd realization, but I had dreams for myself and I never really involved anyone else in those plans and goals. Somewhere along the way, God gave me the gift of two girls! When I became a mother I lost myself and found myself all in the same instance. When you're living your life for someone else, every decision matters that much more. My girls are the reason behind the madness, the laughter, the confidence, the self doubt, and all of the love. They are... everything. But that is what love does. Whether it's loving your first dog, or caring for an elderly parent, or figuring out how to actually be a mother- when you possess love for something, you realize your ability and strength, your weaknesses, and everything in between.

I pray that my girls grow up with the confidence of love. That the love they feel at home will always be sufficient and pure, and the love they experience with God with be consistent and foundational.

WHAT OUR AGENTS SAY

appreciate a family-like atmosphere in a professional environment. If this aligns with your values, contact us to schedule a confidential meeting.

I love working for LHI because of the exceptional service provided to agents; therefore, as an agent, I can provide exceptional customer service and commitment to my clients, whether selling their houses or finding them their next home! LHI is a full-service real estate brokerage— the white glove of real estate! Additionally, I appreciate the supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and professional development.

I ran my husband's outdoor living spaces company for ten years before becoming a realtor. LHI is the only firm I know of that makes sense as a business owner. You ACTUALLY get something out of your percentage cut. Most brokerages take from you when you do the work, and you get nothing from them. A full-service company is the only way to go when you are a realtor.

Working with LHI has transformed my life through paradigm-shifting training, a culture of topproducing service-oriented agents, and leadership support from seasoned pros who've sold hundreds of millions in property. Without LHI, we would not be where we are today. If you want to be the best and be around the best, LHI is the place for you

THE BUNNY HIVE NASHVILLE

Nashville welcomes its first social club for little ones + their grownups

Brocoff Photography

Located in Hillsboro Village, The Bunny Hive is Nashville’s sweetest, new social club designed to cater to the needs of parents & caregivers of young children.

When Atlanta native, Natalia Cooper, began raising her family in Nashville, she often found herself only having the library or park playgrounds as options to spend her days with her growing little ones and to also interact with other parents.

Natalia desired more places in Nashville that offered a space for her children to create and learn alongside other kids that were of similar ages. She first heard of The Bunny Hive through friends who spent their days exploring new creative interests like music, art, and culinary with their newest littles. As a former educator, Natalia loved that this place provided the opportunity for children and adults to connect and learn through play together.

Since so many of the family-friendly activities are outside of Nashville’s city limits, Natalia knew that the city needed a space to support its growing families! One sleepless night, Natalia “slid into the dm’s” of The Bunny Hive’s founders. She expressed how she believed in this community and saw the

opportunity for it to thrive here in Nashville. A few years, a lot of prayers, and a community of support later… Natalia’s vision finally came to life in a 100-year old house in Hillsboro Village.

With 13 different classes designed for ages newborn to kindergarten, there is something for everyone! From exploratory play, baby massage, sensory and culinary exploration, kindergarten prep, and so much more. The unlimited membership is intended for the families to explore all offerings to see where their child finds his or her own interests.

“I was pretty nervous opening our doors during the summer, but the feedback I have received is that it’s nice to have a reliable activity, no matter the weather,” Natalia proudly shares.

Natalia has put so much thought into every factor. As soon as you walk up to the outside, you are overcome with even the beauty of what The Bunny Hive is! This is the absolute dream space for your little’s birthday parties, your upcoming baby shower or bridal shower, or any intimate gathering for life’s most special moments. The property allows ample space for outdoor activities as well; like food trucks and bounce houses, or could even be the best spot for a beautiful cocktail hour!

Inside, the interior has been perfectly designed with intentionality while respecting the bones of the beautiful 1920’s home. The warm space invites different aesthetics or decor to thrive depending on the event or occasion. And an added bonus- parking! How

did she get so lucky to score a place in Hillsboro Village with dedicated parking? Clearly, it was meant to be.

So, what is Natalia’s favorite part of it all? “Watching parents, especially moms, bonding and getting to know one another.” She hopes that The Bunny Hive continues to grow into a space where people feel comfortable coming to at any point of their parenthood journey.

Not in the Hillsboro Village area? Natalia has her eye on other parts of the city to hopefully bring a location of The Bunny Hive to you. We’ve experienced, first hand, all that The Bunny Hive offers. From one mom to another… you will thank us later. Follow along at @thebunnyhivenashville

Twinkle Toes Nanny Agency was born to help families find quality care for their children

Twinkle Toes Nanny Franchise was founded by Kristy Bickmeyer, who was inspired by her own challenges in finding reliable childcare. She established Twinkle Toes as a trustworthy referral service dedicated to matching families with dependable nannies and babysitters. Robin Reed, the owner of the Nashville Twinkle Toes franchise, first met Kristy when she joined the company as a nanny right after college. For a year, she nurtured four young girls under the age of five and realized the immense potential of the Twinkle Toes brand. Eager to share its service with the world, Robin approached Kristy with the idea of expanding to Tampa. With her support, they launched their third location in November 2014 - eventually, growing to become the largest of 22 locations. Most recently, Robin acquired Nashville, bringing her back to her southern roots!

Ultimately, Robin took over ownership to deepen relationships with both the community and other businesses; her biggest goal continues to be to provide more resources for families and nannies. She shares that Twinkle Toes strives to be a part of the village needed to support working families, adding “[her] mission continues to be about empowering families to find balance between their personal and professional

lives, all while ensuring their little ones receive the finest care available. As [she] looks into the future, [she’s] excited to keep forging new ground in entrepreneurial landscape and developing relationships in Nashville while ensuring [their] families and nannies are in good hands.”

While there are two locations in Tennessee, Nashville and Memphis, Twinkle Toes services as much of middle Tennessee as possible. With business in seven states, they have become a blossoming franchise all around the country and are unique from other nanny agencies in the sense that they continue to follow clients along on their journey. Reed shares that they help navigate the nannies and families along the whole process.

“It’s a support system for both,” she shares. “They know they can reach out to me at any time – any hour. I take this as seriously as I would with my own family.”

Twinkle Toes finds their nannies by advertising online, in newspapers, church bulletins, and by word of mouth. Each candidate passes

a criminal background check that includes a national search as well as a county search, a civil background check - which will show things like restraining orders, evictions, custody issues, etc. - and a driving record check. Further, the agency themselves will do the majority of the interviewing, so that you don't have to! The Twinkle Toes team spends ample time weeding out the nannies that they know will not be perfect for you and will only send you their top picks. Typically, for a full-time position, you can expect 1-3 applicants.

“The best part of my job is knowing that we are able to reduce the stress felt by families in finding reliable childcare,” shares Kristy. “Any [nanny] we are interviewing or bringing on to Twinkle Toes is somebody that I would consider for my own children,” Reed adds. “We are doing our best to find the best people that will be reliable, and an extension of the parent when they can’t be there.”

“Our work at LTPR expands our client’s brand awareness and grows their bottom lines.”

Taylor Richardson is the heart behind LTPR. The Brentwood native has always had a passion for fashion, entrepreneurship, and helping businesses flourish. Standing as the first and only fashion PR company based out of Music City, LTPR – Leigh Taylor Public Relations – is a full-service PR firm that offers the energy and passion of a boutique business, bolstered by a deep industry network that excels in connecting

brands to their ideal audience by tailoring their services to each of their client’s individual needs. Their specialties lie in the fashion, beauty, lifestyle, hospitality, events, and retail industries. The team at LTPR covers their client needs through press outreach, celebrity and editorial placements, influencer marketing, social media management, event production, branding, brand strategy, design, sales growth counseling, new product launches, and community integration.

From her time at Scales Elementary to Brentwood High, Taylor has had a front-row seat to watching Nashville blossom into the city it is today. She was thrilled to have gotten the opportunity to collaborate with legendary NFL Tight Ends George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Greg Olsen for this year’s Tight End University summit here in Nashville. She was first introduced to TEU while styling five-time Pro Bowler and San Francisco 49ers star George Kittle, and his wife, Claire. In addition to the Kittles, Taylor shares gratitude to Amanda Matos and Peter Raskin of Rubicon Talent Agency for trusting LTPR to help run this year’s events.

“Being trusted to execute such an insane event and watching everyone have such a great time made [all the hard work] worth it. Seeing people really enjoy themselves with what we created is a highlight I will always remember,” Taylor shares, speaking on what it meant to her to watch LTPR play such a massive role in this year’s TEU.

LTPR worked day in and day out to create a memorable experience for all who took part in

this year’s Tight End University. In addition to all their hands-on hard work and planning, they were also able to provide the majority of the gifts due to the generosity of their clients and local vendors.

The hospitality center at The Thompson Hotel was designed to perfection thanks to The Studio Alisa x Kailey, a Canadian and Nashville Interior Design Firm and clients of LTPR. Here, the men and women of TEU

were greeted with BÉIS luggage filled with gifts secured by the LTPR team. Guests were welcomed with Turtle Box speakers and a custom fitting for their own pair of Justin cowboy boots to wear during their Nashville stay. The wellness centers were also projects of LTPR and featured HD Golf Simulators - flown in all the way from Canada - in addition to services from local businesses, such as facials from CHLOÉ Aesthetics, injections from Elisabeth Smith at Indie RX, IVs from Get Well Health and balloons to complete every space from Party Up Balloon Co. LTPR also hosted Claire Kittle’s ladies’ luncheon at Hampton Social complete with a charm bar from Wood + Wolfe. In true Nashville fashion, guests were also able to create custom cowboy hats from Flea Style at the Tight Ends and Friends concert. Ending the summit with an extravagant pool party at a private residence, Taylor and her team perfectly showcased Nashville and all the city has to offer.

Tight End University was founded and created by George Kittle in 2021 to bring the Tight End community together for an immersive three-day program. Over the course of the week, attendees are able to bond, collaborate with, and learn amongst their peers - including several retired legends - while participating in a variety of activities, including film study, on-field drills, recovery, and rehabilitation. TEU is also passionate about giving back to the community through a variety of charitable initiatives.

“When I moved to the position of Tight End back in college, I was just so fortunate that I really found a love for the game. I love to pass that along to everybody. Then, you get a bunch of good people under one building [and it’s just] really cool that we get to do this every year,” Travis Kelce, reigning Super Bowl champion and all-star Tight End for the Kansas City Chiefs, shares with City Lifestyle.
