I Am Texas Breaks Guinness Record

The I Am Texas book recently broke the Guinness World Record for the Largest Published Book right here in Houston created by iWRITE and The Bryan Museum. Standing seven feet tall and weighing 496 pounds, it holds stories, poems, and artwork written by 1,000 students. WHAT TYPE OF WORKOUT CAN CLIENTS EXPECT?

The Bar Method workout is challenging but also rooted in science. A traditional class will target specific muscle groups (arms, thighs, seat, and abs). Stretches follow the most intense portions of the class. Our exercises have been approved and even developed with a physical therapist.

WHAT ARE THREE THINGS PEOPLE DON'T REALIZE ABOUT BARRE WORKOUTS?

No dance background is required. While The Bar Method is ballet-inspired, you don't need any dance experience or knowledge. The Bar Method is beat driven. You'll love working out with us if you like to work out to music. The Bar Method is for everyone–you don't have to have a specific body type to do barre.

The iconic country music legend has been named an inductee for the 2023 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. This is the first time Nelson has been included on the performer ballot, and he joins six other artists in the performer category, including Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Rage Against

the Machine, and The Spinners. The induction is a fitting recognition for Nelson, who has been a staple in the music industry for over six decades.

Nelson is celebrating much more this year. Born on April 29, 1933, in Abbott, Texas, outside of Waco, the beloved singer celebrated his 90th birthday this year. He was honored with a two-night celebration of his musical career at the open-air Los Angeles Hollywood Bowl amphitheater. The concert featured performances from a star-studded lineup of artists, including Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, George Strait, Dave Matthews, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, and Ziggy Marley. Sitting in a chair for most of the concert, Nelson joined Neil Young for a rendition of their 1985 duet, "Are There Any More Real Cowboys?" and jokingly thanked the artists who came to help celebrate "whatever it is we're celebrating."

The concert culminated with Nelson leading all the evening's artists in a rousing performance of the Carter Family's "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" It was a fitting tribute to the artist's enduring legacy and influence on country music.
