Welcome to the second issue of Maple Grove City Lifestyle! This one’s extra special—our Ladies Issue, celebrating the inspiring women shaping our community with heart, hustle, and purpose.
One of my favorite moments this month was hosting a unique photo shoot at the beautiful Freshly Leaf space (thank you, Angie!). We invited women business owners to bring childhood photos and reflect on what they’d tell their younger selves. The advice they shared was powerful—full of wisdom, vulnerability, and strength. Many incredible women joined us, and it was inspiring to hear their stories.
We had the privilege of diving deeper with a couple of standout stories. Bonnie from DBS shared her journey of raising a big family while building a successful business grounded in integrity. I also spent a few days with Ashley Crisostomo, whose blend of elegance, grit, and determination left a big impression on me. Her story will move you too.
Our family loves exploring the outdoors, so we’re kicking off a new feature on local parks. This month, we hiked Mississippi Gateway Regional Park and captured its beauty with a mix of personal photos and shots from talented pros. We hope it inspires you to get outside and explore.
With spring in full swing, we turned to Bill Archuleta from Rare Landscapes to talk about dreaming big for your outdoor space. Whether it’s patios, pools, or peaceful gardens, Bill and his team bring bold vision to every project.

Bonnie Sundberg, founder of DBS Residential Solutions, has always been guided by hard work, determination, and heart. She began working at just nine years old, babysitting and cleaning homes, and carried that strong ethic into adulthood. For 20 years, she dedicated herself to raising a large family as a full-time stay-at-home mom.
When her youngest child started kindergarten, Bonnie felt it was time for a new chapter. With encouragement from her husband and support from Contractor Nation and Supportworks, she launched DBS to meet a growing need in Duluth: foundation repair and basement remodeling with exceptional customer care.
The leadership skills she honed as a mother, patience, empathy, and bringing out the best in others, translated naturally into her business. Today, Bonnie leads a team committed to both personal and professional growth. Her proudest moments come when employees share milestones made possible through their work at DBS.

From the moment you meet Ashley Crisostomo, you can tell she’s someone who genuinely cares. Her love for real estate goes all the way back to childhood, when she spent time in the office where her mom worked for a top-producing agent. Even as a kid, she noticed the professionalism, the confidence, and how well those agents were known and respected in the community. That early exposure planted a seed that would grow.
Years later, after college, she attended a local networking event where she connected with a husband-and-wife real estate team. They needed help, and Ashley
