Since 2018, Sarah Nicole Redesign has been reimagining homes throughout Loveland and the Cincinnati area. Leaving a career in international business, Sarah decided to pursue her passion of creating beautiful spaces that reflect the personalities of the people who live wi thin them.
Sarah was inspired by her mother who was constantly reinventing their home in practical ways. Sarah shares, “Every update made our home feel more cozy, more welcoming. I grew up witnessing the magic of redesign and the profound impact of small, thoughtful change s. Mom encouraged my creativity, and I vividly remembe r hand painting the boarder of my bedroom at age 14. It was a simple design that incorporated all of my fav orite things. My design style has always been about adding that personal touch.”
Homes with personal touches and spaces dedicated to family traditions create a sense of continuity that children and loved ones carry for a lifetime.
Sarah continues, “My business is about empowering women and all homeowners in their decorating choice s. When we feel confident in expressing our personal s tyle, our homes become places of comfort, character, and pride.”
At Sarah Nicole Redesign, we strive to create a sen se of belonging. A thoughtful gallery wall or perfectly placed throw blankets aren’t just decorations; they are a testament to love, care, and shared history. Interior decorating isn’t only about aesthetics - it’s about creating environments that nurture, inspire, and br ing families together - just like the women in our live s.

TILLAGE BLENDS EFFORTLESS COMFORT WITH A DEEPER MISSION OF HOPE AND AWARENESS
WITH PURPOSE

Abby Farr, photo by Matthew J. Capps
“I BELIEVE WHEN YOU FEEL GOOD IN WHAT YOU WEAR, YOU FEEL MORE CONFIDENT.”
Some clothes are made to be worn. Others are made to be lived in.
For Abby Farr, the difference begins with how a piece moves, feels, and fits into everyday life.
“When I design, I’m thinking about how it will actually function for the person wearing it,” she explains. “It flows, is easy to care for, and the luxurious softness makes the wearer feel good.”
That philosophy is at the heart of Tillage Clothing, her thoughtfully designed line that blends elevated style with everyday comfort, all while quietly carrying a deeper purpose. Abby, a Cincinnati native, has built more than a brand. Through Tillage, she’s created something both practical and personal, where intentional design meets a meaningful mission.
Her connection to Loveland has played a role in that journey. The bike trail has long been a place of inspiration, where ideas take shape between steps. And over the years, she’s hosted pop-up events at Alley Boutique and with LMRCA, gathered for meetings at Narrow Path Brewing Co., and currently has pieces available at Lemons and Limes Boutique.
“THE BRAND IS A JOURNEY, INVITING CONSCIENTIOUS CONSUMERS TO BE A PART OF A MISSION GREATER THAN THEMSELVES. WE’RE ABOUT STORIES, CONNECTION, AND COMMUNITY AS MUCH AS WE ARE ABOUT ADVENTURE AND TRAVEL.”
“Loveland’s always been a place where I can think clearly and dream a little,” she reflects.
The dream itself began years earlier in Southern California. Working as a nanny, Abby found herself frustrated by clothing that didn’t quite fit her lifestyle — too tight, too restrictive, lacking function.
Living near the ocean, she began imagining something different. “You could say the ocean helped inspire the design.”
What emerged became the foundation of Tillage: elevated athleisure designed for movement, comfort, and everyday life. Her signature pieces, especially the cozy camper pants, are known for their buttery-soft feel, deep pockets, and relaxed non-compression fit.
However, comfort was only one part of the vision. Abby had been drawn to fashion, not for its trends, but for its transformation. Taking the artistry of high fashion and reshaping them into something people could actually live in.
The name Tillage arrived just as organically. While home one Christmas, Abby found herself flipping through a collection of Ralph Waldo Emerson essays that had belonged to her mother. One line about “tilling the land” caught her attention. And it stayed with her.
“It felt like more than just a name,” Abby explains. “It captured
the idea of cultivating something meaningful, from the way each piece is made to the greater purpose behind it.”
That sense of purpose had already been growing in her life for years. Since her mid-twenties, Abby has felt a deep pull toward fighting human trafficking, a cause that would later shape the direction of her business.
“Learning about these girls broke my heart,” she recalls. “I have never been able to let the issue go.”
That conviction eventually became the foundation of Tillage’s mission:
To lead the movement against human trafficking in the U.S. by creating comfortable, ethically-sourced apparel ... because consumers deserve to know how their clothes are made and have the opportunity to help make a difference whenever they shop.
Today, every Tillage purchase gives back to organizations working directly with survivors, helping women move from crisis into safe, restorative environments where they can begin again. The mission also shapes how each piece is made, with fabrics thoughtfully sourced and garments sewn in the United States to ensure fair wages and ethical conditions.
“It holds me accountable to who is sewing the clothes, and how things are sourced,” Abby notes.
Still, it’s at her pop-ups where the brand truly comes to life.
“They make me feel like an old-fashioned tentmaker who would set up shop where the people are,” she says with her easy laugh.
From Loveland’s upcoming Hometown Market along the bike trail to city-wide events like The OFF Market, City Flea, and Crafty Supermarket, Abby’s schedule is full this spring. And centered around in-person moments that often turn meaningful.
“I love cultivating authentic conversations where barriers are broken down,” she shares with sincerity and conviction.
Sometimes, those conversations come full circle. At a recent event, a customer revealed she was a survivor of trafficking, connected to the very organization Tillage supports.
Now as Tillage approaches its 10-year anniversary, the brand continues to evolve ... slowly and intentionally. A recently launched hoodie line has already become a fan favorite (made in Ohio). And Abby is looking ahead to future designs, including a wide-leg pant planned for next spring. She also hopes to expand into new cities, increase sustainable sourcing, and raise the percentage each purchase gives back … currently at 5 percent with plans to reach 10.
Her long-term vision is clear. “I really want to be known as having the best travel clothes ever.”
Clothing that moves, adapts, and endures, just like the people who wear it. Clothing designed to feel good.
And to do good.

20-MINUTE TRANSFORMATION

AT MAXSTRENGTH FITNESS, A SHORT WORKOUT CAN LEAD TO A LIFETIME OF BENEFITS
You’re hitting the gym! Back in January, it sounded like a great idea. Now it’s May. Swimsuit weather beckons, and your body’s still in hibernation. But who has time for the gym when there are a million things on your to-do list?
Unfortunately, while you’ve been busy taking care of business, your muscles have been slacking on the job. In fact, after the age of 30, you’ll lose 3–8% of muscle mass every decade, even more once you reach 60. The good news is that your muscles aren’t predestined to turn into jello. According to Brian Gibson, franchise owner of MaxStrength Fitness in Montgomery, it takes just two 20-minute workouts a week to stay strong for the active life you want to lead now — and for years to come.
GET A FULL WORKOUT: NO SWEAT, TIE OPTIONAL
How is this possible? Call it the magic of the MaxStrength Continuous Tension Protocol, which uses precise, controlled resistance throughout each strength exercise.
“With a typical workout, you might go in and do three sets of 10 reps and focus on one muscle group that day, lifting a load that you’re capable of,” explains Studio Leader Danny Bartlett. “At MaxStrength, it’s a full-body session where you lift weight to the point of concentric failure, meaning you can’t lift that weight anymore.”
It’s within this space of muscle “failure” and letting your body recover from it that you build your strength. Workouts are spaced a few days apart to allow for this recovery. Then, the next time you come in, you’re able to push your body a little further.
While MaxStrength is for everybody — from busy executives to empty nesters — its studio is like no other. The weight machines are made precisely for the MaxStrength workout. They’re built to move slowly and provide just the right amount of resistance, depending on your muscle strength. Unlike using free weights, there’s no need to worry about keeping your balance. MaxStrength machines do it for you.
Lane Walker, Brian Gibson, and Danny Bartlett
“The machines account for things that our bodies do when we’re using free weights,” says Danny, who’s also a board-certified physical therapist. “This allows us to focus on that specific muscle stimulus.”
You won’t hear any piped-in music or see any mirrors, either, unlike what you’d probably find in a typical big-box gym. The removal of distractions is by design.
“You are solely focused on what you are doing with your trainer,” explains MaxStrength trainer Lane Walker. “My purpose is to get you to the point where you’re having a stimulus in your muscle.”
You won’t even break a sweat. The studio is kept at a cool 67 degrees, meaning there’s no need for a shower after your training session. You can even work out in your street clothes. Just ask Danny.
“There’s a gentleman up in Cleveland who trains in his tie,” he notes.
Imagine trying that at a regular gym — going from boardroom to bench press and back, necktie intact. And impossible at anywhere except MaxStrength.
PRIME TIME TRANSFORMATION
MaxStrength is designed to make the most of your time, too. After the initial 45-minute orientation session, a typical 20-minute MaxStrength workout consists of six exercises, including the lower body, upper body push, upper body pull, and a spine and abdomen exercise. Clients see measurable results with gains in strength and muscle mass. Most clients lose weight, as well. Although, it’s important to remember that muscle weighs more than fat.
After a short MaxStrength session, you can expect to feel like you’ve completed an intense workout — because you have. However, that doesn’t mean you’ll transform into superhero shape overnight. MaxStrength is a process that takes commitment, which is why memberships are available in 6-, 12-, or 18-month packages.
ON A MISSION FOR MOBILITY
For Brian, strength training has always been an important part of his life, and it hits close to home. He’s seen his own parents struggle with mobility as they grew older. They never did strength training.
“People want to stay active and travel and play with their grandkids,” he says. “If you don’t have strength, you can’t do that.”
It’s one of the reasons why opening Greater Cincinnati’s first MaxStrength Fitness location was so important to him. It’s also why he took great care in hiring the trainers that he did.
Besides being a former yoga and Pilates teacher at Body Alive, Lane was also a men’s hairstylist for 10 years. Brian was one of her clients. He knew firsthand about Lane’s exceptional combination of fitness expertise and customer care. As for Danny, he came highly recommended by a physical therapy client, who happened to know Brian’s mom.
“She kept telling me, ‘Brian’s doing something. You’ll be a great fit!’” Danny recalls.
Brian wholeheartedly agrees.
“Relationship is so much a part of this,” Brian explains. “That’s why I knew I needed people with the right personality, the right customer service mindset.”
STAY STRONG FOR LIFE
Time doesn’t stand still, and neither should we. Even as we grow older, we can build the strength that keeps us moving through life — one 20-minute MaxStrength Fitness session at a time. Need more motivation? Two free introductory workouts are waiting for you. Now what are you waiting for?

DR. LAUREN CAPOZZA
Getting Your Little One (and You) Ready for Another First
BIG STEPS FOR TINY SMILES
ARTICLE BY MARY KATE LENARD | PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED
Your baby’s first year is full of milestones. First smiles, first steps, and first … dental visit? While it may feel early, Dr. Lauren Capozza of Loveland Pediatric Dentistry reminds us that the first dental visit (recommended around age one) is less about counting teeth and more about giving parents the confidence and knowledge to care for their child’s smile.
That starts with the everyday habits that shape oral health.
“There’s so much information out there … and that can feel overwhelming,” says Dr. Lauren.
Her team starts with the basics: brushing. When the first tooth appears, parents should begin brushing twice a day with a drop of fluoride toothpaste no bigger than a grain of rice. The size surprises many parents, which is exactly why early education matters.
“Our goal is to help loving, great parents change habits that could lead to cavities,” Dr. Lauren offers.
Two notable habits? Bedtime and snacking. Dr. Lauren encourages parents to avoid routines that allow for bacteria and plaque to fester, like going to bed with milk or grazing on snacks all day. Instead, she recommends only water at bedtime after teeth have been brushed and dedicated time for snacks.
Parents might be surprised to find out that Dr. Lauren is far less concerned with pacifiers and thumb sucking.
“We don’t judge,” says Dr. Lauren. “It’s not a primary focus, so don’t let that be a cause of stress.”
Early visits also help establish a relationship with a pediatric dentist, which can make a big difference when something unexpected, like a chipped tooth or mouth injury, happens.
At Loveland Pediatric Dentistry, first visits are designed to be simple and supportive for both babies and parents. Taking place in a private room without the big chair or harsh lighting, first visits include a warm welcome, gentle cleaning, and plenty of time for questions.
When parents have the education and confidence to get everyday moments right, they’re building a lifelong foundation for strong oral care. As Dr. Lauren reminds families, “it’s always better to prevent than deal with later on.”

THERE’S NO PLACE Like HOME
Giving Local Kids A Live Theatre Experience Like No Other
You don’t have to travel all the way to New York City for Broadway-level shows. A state-of-the-art, show-stopping theater exists right here in your own backyard, maybe where you’re least likely to expect it. Our very own The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati is a skilled, seasoned professional theatre that boasts the highest-level of performances, all presented at their glorious new home, the Emery Theater, right in the heart of Cincinnati in Over-The-Rhine.
Now in their 106th season, this isn’t The Children’s Theatre’s first walk in the performance park. They are accomplished professionals with truly discerning standards for their shows (and proven resumes to match).
“People misunderstand and think that we put kids on the stage … but we’re a professional theater, just like Playhouse in the Park. It’s our audience that’s children, not our actors,” explains Kim Kern, President and CEO of the theatre.
The mission of The Children’s Theatre is simple. “To educate, engage, and entertain children of all ages through professional theatrical productions and arts education programming,” explains Kim.
And as both the oldest and largest professional theatre for young audiences in the United States, this is a program to be proud of. And not only that, but Cincy now boasts the most technologically advanced theater around ... and it’s just downtown on Walnut Street. “We opened the Emery Theater in October, and
that was a $51.5 million project. Now, we are are not just the oldest children’s theater in the country, but also the largest with 1,500 seats. The next closest is Minneapolis, and they have 700 seats,” Kim states.
Up until this past October, The Children’s Theatre utilized space at the Taft Theatre for all of their performances, but were only allowed a 40-day window for their entire season. Now, with the renovation of the Emery, they’re able to do year-round performances, with multiple weeks for each show, as well as other performances that aren’t limited to theater availability.
But what makes the Emery Theater so special? That list is deep and meaningful. “The Emery, ironically, was also our very first home,” Kim explains. “We performed there starting in 1948, but then moved out in 1969.”
“In effect, we went home,” she continues. “Which is also why we picked The Wizard of Oz JR. as our opening production last year.”
Not only was the Emery their original home, but all construction was done with deliberate intention of keeping the theater as historically accurate as possible. “The assessment of the existing conditions showed that the bones of the building were good. There were no structural issues, everything was pretty much cosmetic. Only the new lobby and bathrooms required new construction,” Kim says. “We restored everything historically. It’s all original marble, all original brass handrails, original light fixtures … restored. It’s beautiful. Absolutely stunning.”
“Not only in many cases are we a child’s first theatre experience, we’re often their only chance to see live theatre.”
But keeping true to its history didn’t mean leaving the systems behind, too. “The Emery is the most technologically advanced theater in the country. We have a 20x20 turntable stage lift that was custom built for us, plus 7 projectors for video or static images. It’s BLINK-like inside the theater … where the audience feels like they’re part of the production,” Kim boasts of the new theater. “What I love is that when all of the technology is going, you feel like you’re at the Sphere in Las Vegas. But then, you turn it off, and it’s just a beautifully restored historic theater.”
What hasn’t changed is The Children’s Theatre’s commitment to connecting with children of all ages and backgrounds. “We offer the perfect first-time live theatre experience because we are inspiring them in an age-appropriate way. You don’t want a child to attend something that’s too long or too above their heads, because it could actually have the reverse effect,” Kim tells us. Often instead of putting on full-length performances, the The Children’s Theatre stages the perfect bite-sized “junior” versions of popular shows … designed and timed perfectly for kiddos. “For our shows that are only an hour, they have a beginning, a middle, and an end. You won’t ever feel like you’re missing anything.”
We’d be remiss not to also mention the tireless effort The Children’s Theatre dedicates to being fully inclusive in both their staffing, what their shows are about, and who they’re for. “We do a really good job of being an inclusive organization — our board and staff are 50% women or more, as is our Board Chair,” offers Kim, who is herself President & CEO. “And many of our productions are woman-focused. From shows about suffragettes and historical female figures to reimagining fairytales with strong women in the lead roles ... we encompass women with everything we do.”
In fact, the theater itself was started by Helen Schuster Martin in 1919 and continued through the Junior League of Cincinnati. “This whole organization wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for those very important women,” Kim offers with pride.
But how does this downtown theater space tie into Loveland, you might be wondering? Outside of being a Lovelander herself, Kim shared an impressive fact.
“Our shows are flashy, bright, fun, and uplifting. And now with this immersive, digital element, we’re breaking the fourth wall and really engaging kids in the production ... it’s so much more than entertainment.”
Photo by Malinda Hartong, LQ Consulting
“Our largest zip code for attending MainStage shows is 45140.” So, despite not being close to the theater itself, Loveland continually draws The Children’s Theatre’s biggest crowd. But there’s even more. Through their outreach programs in visiting Loveland-area schools, The Children’s Theatre is making a direct impact on our community and our children.
Though they are wrapping up their current season now with DreamWorks’ How to Train Your Dragon The Musical JR., next season is one you definitely won’t want to miss! Mark your calendars now for Disney and Cameron Mackintosh’s Mary Poppins JR ., Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas The Musical , and Peter Pan JR. With their final show, a North American premiere, and world-premiere adaptation straight from London’s West End, 101 Dalmatians The Musical .
The curtain rises again on The Children’s Theatre of Cincinnati. See you at the show!
Nestled within the evolving naturescape of Children’s Meeting House, a new yurt has become a meaningful addition to campus life, blending tradition, innovation, and outdoor learning.
Bridging the Gap Between the Inside and the Great Outdoors at CMH
CMH, Cincinnati’s premier Nature Montessori school, provides an educational approach focused on independence, hands-on experiences, and play in non-traditional classroom settings. The decision to add the yurt was made by the playground committee.
“We’ve been thoughtfully focused on enhancing our naturescape in a way that feels authentic and aligned with CMH’s mission and values,” explains Jessica Anderson, CMH Director of Advancement. “The committee wanted to introduce a space that not only complements the natural environment but also supports imaginative play, exploration, and hands-on learning.”
“The yurt blends seamlessly with the outdoor setting while offering a unique, inviting structure for students,” adds Angie Pavao, CMH’s Outdoor Education Teacher. “It reflects our commitment to creating meaningful, nature-inspired experiences, and provides a versatile space that can be used for a variety of educational and community activities.”
With its green covering and homey indoor space, CMH’s yurt feels organic to the environment while functioning as a sheltered outdoor classroom for lessons, small gatherings, after-school clubs, meetings, and celebrations.
“It offers a calm, organic environment where students can connect with and appreciate the natural world,” Angie says. “Students meet with me there weekly to explore topics such as local habitats, plant and animal identification, stewardship, and citizen science.”
More to the point, it’s a natural gathering place for both staff and students.
“It’s perfect for launching hikes, restoration projects, games, data collection, as well as a space for reflection and discussion … ensuring we can prioritize outdoor education even when weather conditions limit extended time outside.”
Now a campus staple, the yurt represents CMH’s long-term commitment to outdoor education, continuing to foster curiosity, connection, and a lasting appreciation for the natural world.
Community Care and Comfortable Air
“I enjoy working with customers and the friendships that come with that,” says Doug Hyrne of Time Savers Heating & Cooling. “I get to learn about their families, they know mine, and then we talk about them together when I visit for appointments.”
“But the best part of my job is the personal satisfaction that I get when I help a customer get their system working,” Doug emphasizes. “I enjoy solving and fixing problems for different issues.”
When it comes to the work that Doug and his team have completed, the results — and satisfied clients — can speak for themselves. And because of Doug’s extraordinary work, these three clients have lots to say.

“Doug has been our next-door neighbor for over a decade,” Kathy shares with a smile. “It doesn’t take more than a few minutes with Doug to see that he’s a good man, and to recognize his passion for his business.”
Several months back, Kathy needed a new furnace; Doug and his team had already serviced, maintained, and repaired the old system until it was time for a replacement. “We gave her options that worked for her house,” Doug says.
“Any HVAC replacement is a major purchase, and it was such a relief to know that the person you’re working with is honest,” Kathy reports. She’s also enjoying a new level of comfort. “The best part is that with the new app, I don’t have to get out of bed to change the temperature setting in the middle of the night!”
Jamie Prichard
“Time Savers replaced our entire AC/furnace/all-things-comfort system, and we could not be more pleased,” Jamie happily reports. “They were kind, respectful, honest, clear, courteous, clean, and just overall extremely pleasant to work with!”
Jamie had recently moved to a new house that, as is all-too-common the case, had old and inefficient components. “We replaced and upgraded to a more efficient system,” Doug says. His team was able to provide prompt service, quick completion, and overall education, including a rundown on what was done.
“I had the utmost confidence in them from the start,” Jamie says, “and highly recommend them for any HVAC work you need done.”
Ashlee Kidd
Ashlee counted on Time Savers Heating & Cooling to address a duct system issue at her business, Ameritax.
“As a single property owner managing two homes — both over 100 years old — I’m no stranger to the ongoing maintenance and unexpected challenges that come with historic properties. Each requires consistent care, attention, and a reliable professional I can trust,” she says.
“What I like most about working with Doug is that he’s straightforward and knows how to solve problems. No runaround, just honest, dependable work. At this point, I have them on a monthly maintenance plan, which gives me peace of mind knowing my properties are being taken care of.”

CATCH YOU LATER
“A road trip story, best friend story, and missing person mystery, all rolled into one,” offers Jessica.
Loveland’s Own Bestselling Novelist
Jessica Strawser Releases Her Latest Poolside Page-turner June 1
Perhaps it was Catch You Later you couldn’t put down, or The Last Caretaker that you absolutely had to recommend to a friend. Now, just as summer reading season heats up, USA Today bestselling author Jessica Strawser is releasing her eighth novel, The Quitters Club — and it’s just as captivating.
When four ride-or-die friends reunite for a getaway, they’re desperate for a break, a chance to reconnect. But each is hiding a deeper reason why. Marie feels like an impostor teaching “How to Say No” seminars while her marriage has evolved into something she never said yes to. Brooke’s most heartfelt goal — motherhood — is proving out of reach. Lucy’s dream career has broken her spirit, possibly for good. And Collins feels trapped in grief by her late husband’s legacy.
All their lives, they’ve encouraged each other not to give up. But they can’t do this anymore. Now, at a breaking point, they make a pact: Quit. And help each other through the fallout.
It’s another Strawser classic laced perfectly with love and loss, hope and heartache, reveals and redemption. One you’ll want to dive in and read every word for yourself. Get your copy of The Quitters Club (or one of Jessica’s other musts) and set a date for a sunny day at the pool, beach, or backyard escape.
“This book celebrates the often hidden (and sometimes heroic) ways that women show up for one another.”
NOT THAT I COULD TELL
“Set in idyllic Yellow Springs and often billed for fans of Big Little Lies, it remains my all-time bestseller!”

BECKY HILLYARD
From Side Hustle to Style Empire
The power of taste, trust, and the courage to “just start.”
She didn’t have a business plan, a media budget, or even a name anyone could pronounce. What Becky Hillyard had was taste, a young family, and the instinct to just start. Today, her lifestyle brand Cella Jane commands an audience the size of Vogue’s , she’s nine collections strong with Splendid, and she’s built it all while raising three kids — refusing to sacrifice one for the other. In an exclusive conversation for the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Becky shares what it really takes to build a brand, a career, and a life you love. Read the highlights below, then scan the QR code for the full conversation.
Q: WHEN DID YOU KNOW CELLA JANE WAS MORE THAN A HOBBY?
A: Two moments. Women started emailing me saying they bought something I recommended and felt amazing — asking me to help them find a dress for a wedding. That felt incredible. Then I looked at my affiliate numbers for one month and realized I could cover our mortgage. I thought, I can actually do this. I never set out to build a business. I started it because I genuinely loved it.

Q: WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST RISK YOU EVER TOOK WITH THE BRAND?
A: Designing my own collection. It’s easy to point at items on a website and say I love these. But to create something from scratch, put your name on it, and wait to see if people connect with it — that’s terrifying. I had an incredible partner in Splendid, and women loved the pieces. It was the biggest risk and the biggest accomplishment.
Q: HOW HAS INFLUENCER MARKETING CHANGED SINCE YOU STARTED?
A: When I started, brands didn’t know whether to take it seriously. Now it’s a legitimate line item in their marketing budgets — sometimes bigger than TV. Because what we’ve built is trust. People trust a real recommendation from someone they follow far more than a commercial. There’s no question about it now.
Q: YOU’RE A MOM OF THREE RUNNING A FULL BRAND. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?
A: I try to get up at five and not hit snooze — that first hour before the house wakes up is the most productive, most peaceful hour of my day. Then it’s all hands on deck with the kids and school drop-off. After that I work — planning content, connecting with my team, editing. After pickup, the day shifts completely and it’s all about them. I’ve learned to protect both halves fiercely, because both matter.
Q: WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BUILD SOMETHING OF THEIR OWN BUT KEEPS WAITING?
A: Don’t wait. Don’t wait for the perfect camera, the right strategy, or enough followers. We find every excuse to stay comfortable. Just start, be consistent, and be authentically yourself. The right people will find you — and they’ll stay.
This conversation is just the beginning. Becky goes deeper on the risks that almost stopped her, the design process behind her latest Splendid collection, and what she’d tell her 2012 self today. Scan the QR code for the full, exclusive City Lifestyle interview on the Share the Lifestyle podcast.
