Inspired by Women

Having the chance to celebrate the remarkable women in my life—wives, mothers, and daughters—is a joy. Their presence enriches and beautifies many aspects of my life. With Mother’s Day approaching on the 12th of this month, our focus naturally shifts to honoring moms. Yet, let's not overlook the impact of all mother figures in our lives, from coworkers and mentors to teachers, coaches, sisters, friends, and neighbors. Each con tribution they make to our lives fosters a stronger, more vibrant community.

Reflecting on my own family, I draw inspiration from my late grandmother, who raised five daughters, instilling in them the values of sisterhood and female camaraderie. Her love and prayers continue to envelop me, a testament to her enduring influence. Now, as the eldest of three sisters and with three sisters-in-law, I aspire to carry forward her legacy of love and mutual respect for women in my own life.

In this month’s Ladies' issue, I'm thrilled to spotlight the outstanding women of influence in Lakewood Ranch. Nominated by the community, these women embody resilience, vision, and compassion. As we champion these remarkable individuals, let's also rally behind the women-owned businesses featured, recognizing their contributions to our city.
