HOME + DESIGN
DISCOVER SUTTON FIELDS, A COMMUNITY WHERE STYLE MEETS LIFESTYLE SEAMLESSLY.
Style is more than what we wear. It’s the way we carry ourselves, how we decorate our homes, the music we love, the meals we serve, and even the way we celebrate the people around us. Style reflects who we are at our core and how we choose to move through the world.
This month, we’re leaning into style in all its forms. Whether it's a thoughtfully curated outfit, a bold piece of art on your wall, or the confidence to try something new just because it feels like you , personal style is worth celebrating.
One standout example of thoughtful style in our community is Sutton Fields by Bloomfield Homes. Located just north of Highway 380, this neighborhood is perfectly positioned for convenience without sacrificing charm. The homes are designed with comfort and character in mind, blending smart functionality with elevated aesthetics. From the architectural details to the amenity-rich lifestyle it offers, Sutton Fields is a place where community and style go hand in hand.
Style is also found in the little moments that often go unnoticed—a handwritten note, a well-loved recipe passed down through generations, or the decision to invest in spaces that feel like home. It’s about creating a life that feels authentic and surrounding ourselves with things, people, and experiences that reflect what we value most. That kind of intention has a lasting beauty.
As always, we hope this issue inspires you to embrace your unique flair—whatever that looks like for you. Maybe it’s finally rearranging a room, hosting a stylish dinner party, or simply walking a little taller in your favorite pair of shoes. However you express it, your style matters. And it’s worth showing off.

Spacious homes, top schools, and resortstyle amenities come together in a community built for connection.
Just north of Highway 380 in one of North Texas’s most dynamic and fast-growing residential corridors, Sutton Fields is capturing attention for all the right reasons. This thoughtfully designed master-planned community offers more than beautiful homes—it offers a complete lifestyle centered around connection, comfort, and everyday enjoyment. With its wide open spaces, scenic landscaping, and family-friendly design, it appeals to a wide range of homebuyers. Zoned to the highly acclaimed Prosper ISD and loaded with standout amenities, Sutton Fields combines small-town charm with modern convenience in a way few communities can match.
What truly sets Sutton Fields apart is its commitment to community and lifestyle. From the moment you enter, the neighborhood feels intentional, designed to bring people together through walkable streets, engaging amenities, and shared green spaces. It’s a place where neighbors become friends, and every day offers a chance to enjoy the outdoors in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
“Sutton Fields promotes an active, outdoor lifestyle with a strong sense of community,” Bloomfield notes. “The amenities encourage friendships, neighborly interaction, and daily memories, all set within idyllic natural surroundings.”
Among the standout features are two swimming pools, including a resort-style pool with splash pad and a lap pool, pocket farms, fishing ponds, picnic areas, walking trails, basketball and pickleball courts, fire pits, and a playground. The community even features an onsite Prosper ISD elementary school, Dan Christie Elementary, providing ultimate convenience for young families and making school drop-offs a breeze.
Bloomfield Homes carefully selects where it builds based on three key factors: location, lot size, and lifestyle. Sutton Fields checked every box and then some. “The lot sizes were a big factor,” the builder shares. “We wanted to offer buyers space to spread out, and with 70-foot-wide lots, they can build the home they’ve always envisioned with room for a pool, a backyard hangout, or just a little breathing room.”

Sutton Fields also provides unmatched access to nearby cities like Frisco, McKinney, and The Colony, as well as major roads such as Preston Road and the Dallas North Tollway. Residents are just minutes from dining, shopping, medical services, and recreation, making it easy to enjoy both convenience and tranquility.
The neighborhood is thoughtfully designed to welcome residents in every phase of life. Whether you’re a growing family, a retiree, or a first-time buyer,
Sutton Fields offers space, safety, and a strong sense of belonging. Families benefit from Prosper ISD’s highly rated schools, including an onsite elementary, as well as nearby William Rushing Middle School and Prosper High School. The community’s layout is easy to navigate, with wide sidewalks for safety and walkability. Larger lots offer customization options like extended patios or three-car garages.
Beyond the neighborhood’s borders, the area is full of attractions and conveniences. Nearby outdoor options include Lewisville Lake, Frontier Park, and Town Lake Park. The Star in Frisco, Omni PGA Frisco Resort, and the Bill Carrico Athletic Complex provide sports and entertainment. Shopping is easy with The Gates of Prosper, Costco, Target, and H-E-B just a short drive away. And when
it’s time to dine out, locals enjoy favorites like Heyday, Lucy’s on the Square, and Tender Smokehouse.
Bloomfield Homes brings its signature craftsmanship and customer care to Sutton Fields, offering buyers award-winning home designs with all-inclusive finish-outs and flexible floor plans. The model home in Sutton Fields will feature the Primrose plan, a spacious two-story layout with up to six bedrooms and five bathrooms. “It’s
a multigenerational design with soaring ceilings, tons of natural light, and plenty of room for entertaining,” the builder shares. “It’s perfect for today’s buyer who needs flexibility without sacrificing style.” While there aren’t any brandnew designs introduced specifically for Sutton Fields, Bloomfield emphasizes that buyers here benefit from the same quality and architectural excellence that has earned the builder accolades across the Metroplex.
One of the biggest strengths Bloomfield brings to Sutton Fields is its local expertise. Their team is not new to the area. Many have been building homes in nearby communities for years and have deep ties to the local neighborhoods. “Our salesperson has helped hundreds of families find their homes just down the road,” says
Bloomfield. “Our project manager has overseen the construction of more than 300 homes in nearby ArrowBrooke. That local experience really matters.”
With so much to offer, Sutton Fields is seeing strong interest, and inventory is limited. Only a few 70-foot-wide lots remain, and early buyers are securing prime positions in the community. “This is more than just buying a house. You’re investing in a lifestyle,” Bloomfield emphasizes. “If Sutton Fields feels like the right fit, this is the time to act confidently.”
Buyers can also take advantage of flexible incentive packages that can be tailored to their needs. Whether it’s covering closing costs, buying down an interest rate, or adding upgrades through Bloomfield’s Onsite Design Center, the builder works to meet each buyer where they are.
The Bloomfield model home on Woodworth Avenue is now open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. for tours, and the first inventory homes will be ready by early fall 2025. For more information visit bloomfieldhomes.com or contact the Sutton Fields sales team directly. Whether you’re looking for room to grow, a stronger connection to community, or a beautiful place to call home, Sutton Fields offers it all.

INthis unexpected love affair, fashion and interiors are more than just a simple pairing—they are rooted in culture, creativity, and the human desire for self-expression.
As conscious consumers of the 21st century, participating in a retail landscape that is oversaturated and struggling to adapt to the ever-changing demands of the modern customer, our purchasing power should not only respond to a feeling of want but also prioritize items that reflect who we are and who we aspire to be. This is clearly visible through the representation of fashion and interiors.
Although we tend to consider cost-per-wear primarily when it comes to clothing, this same
principle applies to furniture and the function it brings to the home. Aesthetics and functionality both play a role in this pairing, painting a picture for the rest of the world of who the wearer is and how they live in their space.
The woman who wears a blazer with sharp shoulders that makes her feel powerful in her everyday life—or the black dress that gives her a necessary boost of confidence—may naturally gravitate toward sleek, modern furniture that feels equally strong and elevates the space where the modern woman thrives.
In the same way, someone who prefers an effortless ensemble—like their favorite white T-shirt and comfortable denim

jeans—may also look for home pieces that are functional and make their guests feel at ease. Even a handmade rug, one that sparks conversation about where it was found and adds a focal point to a room, mirrors how we search our closets for a sweater tied to a cherished memory.
Just as we carefully choose outfits to express ourselves, it’s equally important to ensure that our living spaces are designed with the same intention. More than ever, modern buyers are making purchasing decisions based on personal morals and values, forming a new wave of consumers who seek products that are both high-quality and environmentally or socially conscious, whether for themselves or their homes.
The following imagery affirms that living a timeless lifestyle across all aspects of life is possible through the thoughtful styling of sustainable clothing and vintage furniture. As the modern retail landscape continues to evolve, it’s become increasingly vital to make conscious consumer choices—ones that allow us to express our truest selves through both our wardrobes and the places we call home.

IT’S POSSIBLE TO SHOW YOUR UNIQUE STYLE WITH NICE CLOTHES WHILE ALSO STRETCHING YOUR DOLLAR
One’s wardrobe says a lot about a person and it is important to dress to the occasion whether it be work or play while still expressing yourself. Building a wardrobe can be a costly expense but it’s possible to show your unique style with nice clothes while also stretching your dollar.
A FUN, SUSTAINABLE WAY TO BUILD A HIGH-QUALITY AND STYLISH WARDROBE
Second-hand and vintage-style clothes are a fun, sustainable way to build a high-quality and stylish wardrobe without breaking the bank. Buying hand-made and second-hand also reduces the demand for new clothing production, which helps reduce waste and the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
SOME PIECES ARE SIMPLY BETTER WHEN THEY ARE SECOND-HAND
Some pieces are simply better when they are second-hand like worn denim and lived-in boots or leather that’s softened over time. Get creative and add touches to your old favorites with patches, embroidery, and even natural flower colors transferred to fabric. Grab your old t-shirts, family vintage fabrics, or lace, and pull it all together into something new and memorable.
My sister, Haley, used an 1800s petticoat and blouse, salvaged Edwardian style Christening gowns and a tablecloth, and other fabrics to create the most amazing vintage-style wedding dress. It was so perfectly her and absolutely gorgeous. IT WAS SO PERFECTLY HER AND ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS
SIMPLE, WILD, CLASSIC, COLORFUL; DON’T BE AFRAID TO SHOW YOUR STYLE
The best way to keep your wardrobe fresh is to look for either trendy or classic new pieces and match them with your favorite vintage or second-hand pieces, like a new dress with your grandma’s old leather jacket or a recently purchased foundation piece with a skirt made from vintage fabrics. Simple, wild, classic, colorful; don’t be afraid to show your style and your financial fashion savvy at the same time.

One of my happy places is sitting in front of a museum wall gallery. I can admire art for hours, and if I’m with a friend, there’s no telling how long we’ll sit, reflect, and share our individual perspectives. If you’ve admired gallery wall displays in magazines, catalogs, or on social media and would like to create one in your home, it’s much easier than you might think.
HANG UP THE OLD WAY AND TRY A GALLERY WALL HANGING SYSTEM IN YOUR HOME.
WHY CHOOSE A GALLERY WALL HANGING SYSTEM?
The beauty of a gallery wall hanging system lies in its flexibility and ease of use. Traditional picture hanging methods can leave walls full of holes, making it cumbersome to adjust placements or update the display. A hanging system, however, allows for easy adjustments without additional damage to your walls. This feature is particularly advantageous for renters or anyone who likes to refresh their decor frequently.
DESIGNING YOUR GALLERY WALL
The first step in creating a gallery wall is planning. Start by selecting a theme or color scheme that complements your space. Themes can be as varied as black-and-white photographs, abstract paintings, or a mix of personal and artistic prints.
MATERIALS YOU WILL NEED:
• A gallery wall hanging system, which typically includes mounting rails, cables or rods, and hooks. You can find them pretty much anywhere, online or at your local home improvement store.
• A collection of frames and artwork.
• A level, measuring tape, and perhaps a laser pointer for precision.
CREATIVE ARRANGEMENTS
• The arrangement of your gallery wall can follow several patterns, depending on your taste:
• Linear: Artworks are hung in a straight line at eye level, creating a clean and orderly appearance.
• Grid: Perfect for a collection of similarly sized frames, this layout emphasizes structure and uniformity.
• Salon Style: This more traditional arrangement involves layering pieces closely together, often extending across the wall. It’s ideal for creating a rich, filled look.
Enjoy curating a space that is uniquely yours, evolving with your tastes and lifestyle.
Carefully measure the wall space where you want to install the gallery. Consider the height and width available, keeping in mind furniture and other room features.
Arrange your artwork on the floor to finalize your layout. This “dry run” is crucial to get a feel for how the pieces will interact with one another. I like to use painter’s tape to create a visual of what my display will look like on the walls.
03 INSTALL THE RAILS AND HANG YOUR ART:
Following the manufacturer’s instructions, mount the rails at the top of your wall. Ensure they are level and securely attached. Attach cables or rods to the rails, then use hooks to hang your frames. The beauty of the system is that you can adjust the height and position of each piece easily.
04 BALANCE AND SYMMETRY:
Step back to view your layout from different angles. Adjust the spacing and alignment as needed to achieve visual balance.
City Lifestyle isn’t just a publication — it’s a pulse. A rhythm of voices, neighbors, and stories woven together by someone who believes in the power of connection. As we expand, we’re looking for people ready to turn care into community. Are you ready to be that spark?
