You don’t need a huge budget or an eye for interior design to recreate a living room straight off the cover of a magazine. We’ve put together five simple home styling tips to help your living room go from drab to fab with an infusion of color.

D O M I N AT E C O LO R If you are going to add more than one color or brighten up a room that already has color, make sure the colors you choose aren’t fighting for the spotlight. Pick one color as your dominate color for your bigger pieces such as a sofa or a rug. Then you can add in additional smaller items such as pillows or lamps in alternative colors.
