Hello friends, IT'S GOOD TO BE WITH YOU! How many times has your personal style evolved? Not just changed, but evolved?

Do you refine your wardrobe and style a little every year?

I love Lauren Hutton's style. Hutton finds fashion rules "absurd,” her goal is to make an organic connection between outer wrappings and inner life. Because her clothes are in sync with her personality, they never wear her because she holds on to favorites, they carry a bit of history. "I like to have things for years—things with holes, raggedy things," she said in an interview with O magazine. "They make me feel good."

During the last six months, you will have likely found me wearing clothing that makes me feel good... without restrictions. That is to say, yoga pants, fun t-shirts and breathable fabrics. A DIY mani-pedi, tinted lip balm and a good sunscreen have been my beauty regime go-tos. I do miss dressing up on occasion (RIP Jeffrey Cares) but have easily pivoted to finding accessories and lifestyle choices that make me feel good. Here are a few: Do something nice for someone every day: drop off flowers or a notecard to a neighbor or friend nearby. Closer to home, do a chore that matters to someone else in your household.

Look people in the eye when you shop or pass them on the street and smiling, under the mask. Add a nod of the head for emphasis.

Take time for yourself to be alone, walking or reading. This is NOT selfish. It's self-care.

Add a prayer for someone who you know is struggling.

The viewer can actually experience each of Douglas Stratton’s photos differently. Rather than simply looking at the image you can get lost inside each photo. Whether it is a staircase in the Vatican or a driftwood sculpture on Ossabaw Island, Stratton’s images are uniquely experiential, busy - yet still, and ever so insightful. “My passion for photography stems from a deep desire to capture the world around me and depict it the way it is seen by the human eye,’ said Stratton. “By grasping the right levels of light, you can transport the viewer to the moment in the photograph, evoking wonderment through capturing the language of the particular space.”

The homeowners of beautiful home on Mt. Paran Road partnered with Everglades for a comprehensive project. Everglades installed plants in the front yard which included flowering trees, evergreen trees, flowering shrubs, ground covers and perennials. They installed Zoysia sod, annual beds, added soil amendments to support the plant selections. Technicians adjusted the sprinkler system to compensate for additional plantings and installed a river rock dry stream bed to channel rain water away from the home.

The homeowners also asked Everglades for color through all seasons.

Landscapers designers used flowering plants including annuals, perennials, foliage plants with unique leaf color and deciduous trees with good fall color.

Fragrant plants were also requested which was accomplished with dwarf gardenia, tea olive and a variety of perennials.
