I hope this finds you enjoying a month of all things manly in honor of Father’s Day. This issue is dedicated to the gentlemen in our lives who go above and beyond for us every day.
I grew up with an older brother, which I now see was one of the greatest hands life could have dealt me. Along with the important things like sports, classic rock, Nintendo, and how to be a fierce competitor at games, he taught me so many life lessons at a young age. It makes me laugh thinking about asking my brother what was on his mind because nine times out of ten the answer would be the same … “Nothing.” This shocking revelation was mind blowing to me, who had the information highway intersecting all at once in my own brain. I’m not sure how this is possible, but it’s an admirable skill that I’m not ashamed to admit I’m envious of!
