We’re extremely grateful to Brunswick’s staff for allowing us to make this a reality so quickly.” “We’re happy and eager to be of help to our community during this national emergency,” Brunswick School Head Thomas W. DOLLKA MORICO IS AN ARTIST THAT CONNECTS THE STORIES OF OUR PAST AND PRESENT WITH OUR OWN PERSONAL STORIES OF EMOTIONS AND BELIEFS. She is passionate about the brands and subject matter that she chooses to paint because she believes that each one of us can connect to them and reflect on what they mean to us. The splatters, swirls, shapes and textures you find in her work represents the emotions, experience, and stories of human life and the subject depicted. The recognizable visuals are there to draw you closer to the meaning of the art piece and the story it tells. “My responsibility as an artist is to create work that brings a connection to each individual and evokes emotions about all that life has to offer. My goal is always to capture the beauty, joy and difficult moments that life can bring. I want my art to remind us how precious our time on earth is and how beautiful the journey can be.”

Dollka and her husband David both maintain studios at SPAG in Norwalk, CT. Recently they also teamed up to create a gallery space in New Canaan. Their vision is to create a gallery space for everyone. A place where we can collaborate with other artists from various backgrounds, disciplines, and trades to showcase the power of joining forces with other talented and passionate individuals. It’s a space that can bring the community together to admire, educate, and convey the importance that art can play in our lives, influences our culture, and contributes to society-at-large.
