Welcome Home,

Investing in What Matters
When we talk about investments, we often think of numbers, spreadsheets, bank accounts, and financial strategies. But the most meaningful investments aren’t measured in dollars; they’re found in the way we shape our lives, nurture relationships, and build a strong community.

This month, we explore the kinds of investments that truly enrich us. At the heart of it all is our well-being. Investing in health, whether through nourishing meals, fitness, or self-care, is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. A home garden overflowing with fresh herbs, a meal shared with loved ones, or the simple act of slowing down to care for ourselves—these choices add up to a life of wellness and connection.
Then, there’s the investment in our surroundings. Imagine the difference a thoughtfully designed bedroom can make—a space that feels restful, inviting, and uniquely yours. Or consider how a meal service chef can transform mealtime, turning a stressor into a source of ease and enjoyment. These aren’t just luxuries; they’re choices that enhance our well-being.
Beyond our homes, art, philanthropy, and community shape the culture of Dripping Springs. Supporting local artists, giving back to those in need, and fostering a sense of togetherness make our town the vibrant place we love.
As I reflect on my time with Dripping Springs City Lifestyle, I realize that this journey has been one of the most meaningful ventures of my life. The stories, the people, the deep connection to this community—these are the investments that have enriched me in ways beyond measure.
This marks my final lifestyle letter to you all. Writing these pages, celebrating local voices, and sharing in the heartbeat of this town has been a privilege I will always cherish. You can read more about my journey on page 32, where I express my deep love and appreciation for this town and its people.
For this season in my life, the most valuable investments are in my faith, intentional time with loved ones, personal growth, and health. Your idea of investment may look different, but it undoubtedly reflects who you are today and how you strive to grow. I encourage you to write down what matters most to you and keep it close. One day, you’ll look back and see just how far you’ve come—not by chasing numbers, but by investing in the things that truly enrich your life.

PAGES OF purpose

ARTICLE BY KRISTEN HAFNER
Kristen Hafner’s Investment in a Journey Well Spent
Taking a leap of faith onto an uncharted path, this publication set out with one goal in mind: to bring joy and recognition to our community by giving people a platform to share their stories.
In summer 2022, Will and Karen Rivera launched Dripping Springs City Lifestyle magazine and, after I responded to a Facebook post about a photoshoot, brought me on as their editor and photographer.
Just a few months later, we attended our first City Lifestyle national conference. As a first-time editor of a new magazine, I sat there wide-eyed, absorbing all the knowledge I could and dreaming of how we would improve others’ processes, tailor our publication specifically to our town, and enrich the Dripping Springs community by bringing people together.
We knew that if we executed our mission to create the most authentic and heartfelt publication Dripping Springs had ever seen, we would succeed.
This unfamiliar path I had embarked upon quickly transformed into a freight train. Month after month, my team and I were blown away by the insurmountable number of people doing amazing things in our town. At each editorial meeting, we faced the dilemma of how to possibly fit all of this goodness within the confines of our pages—a problem that was truly a blessing.

In March 2023, I was honored to receive the National Editor of the Month award for our Women’s issue featuring Jenna Lee. This is just one instance when I was awestruck by working with such an impactful, influential woman—someone I am now proud to call a friend. To be recognized for the stories we brought forth that month is something I will never forget.
In fall 2023, at our second national conference, our publication was honored as Best Overall Editorial Publication of the Year. Dripping Springs went from “Where is Dripping Springs? Never heard of it” to “You’re Dripping Springs? Amazing work! We use your publication as inspiration!”
This recognition was not just a testament to the heart and hard work our team pours in month after month, but also to the incredible community we have the privilege to feature. Without these stories to tell, there would be nothing to award.

I don’t list these accolades as a pat on the back but rather as a way to relive the greatness that has unfolded through our investment of hard work, talent and, most importantly, an amazing community to highlight.
More than growth and recognition, this journey has blessed me with deep and lasting friendships—connections that go beyond professional collaboration and have truly enriched my life. The people I’ve met along the way, from inspiring entrepreneurs to passionate community leaders, have shaped my career and my heart, and for that I thank you.
With the start of a new year, like so many do, I began to evaluate my path in life. Are the daily investments I’m making on a personal level going to equate to happiness in the long run? More than anything, I realized how fleeting this season of life is; my boys will be teenagers before I know it. Without investing in yourself, how can you invest in others? As they say, you can’t pour from an empty cup. Prayer and reflection were my starting points. I hired a life coach and sought wisdom from the driven, successful women around me. How do they wisely invest their time while running thriving businesses and still being present at home? A necessary shift became apparent: It’s time to invest in a new chapter.
KRISTEN HAFNER | @KRISTENHAFNER_ KRISTENHAFNERPHOTOGRAPHY.COM
As this chapter comes to a close, my love for this community remains. I look forward to finding new ways to stay connected and contribute to our ever-growing town. I’d love for you to follow along on my next adventures and, and without a doubt, I’ll see you around!

Life is full of investment opportunities, and the biggest ones often start with a leap of faith.
Life is full of investment opportunities, and the biggest ones often start with a leap of faith. Becoming editor of this magazine was an unexpected blessing. A simple reply to a Facebook post turned into a pivotal moment in my career. As a photographer turned magazine editor, I have had the privilege of sharing glimpses into my life with you over the last twoand-a-half-plus years, and for that, I am deeply grateful. This role has been an investment of my time, energy, and talents, yielding far more than I could have imagined. These narratives confirm that investing in oneself is not an act of selfishness but a vital component of leading a balanced and fulfilling life.
The story is much deeper than simply resigning from a position I coveted and dreamed of as a child. It’s a story of finding myself and recognizing that my job is not my identity. Making a change is okay. Change, in any capacity, is hard; we are wired to crave predictability. But I have never been one to ignore a feeling, especially one I have prayed over.
What I have learned from the members of this community is immeasurable. But sometimes, you must let go of great to make room for greatness. Thank you, Dripping Springs, for embracing me on this journey; it certainly would not have been the same story without you.

Food for the Soul
ISSA FISK INV E S TS IN REAL GO

A trained chef, baker, recipe developer, food contributor, food stylist, and artist, Marissa Fisk curates farm-to-fork dishes and menus with locally sourced, organic foods. While she cooks, she sings and prays. “It’s a food ministry,” she says. “My main goal is for people to feel the love in the food, the passion behind the food, and for them to feel their optimal best.”
ARTICLE BY MELISSA SVOBODA | PHOTOGRAPHY BY KRISTEN HAFNER

Her life’s work began 16 years ago with a farmers market venture in Los Angeles. Fisk’s gluten-free baked treats were such a hit that the business evolved into a full-service catering company, feeding celebrities and VIPs on movie sets, at music and motion picture companies, and in their homes.
For the last 13 years, this chef to the stars has applied her talents right here in Dripping Springs, offering seasonal, local, nutrient-dense food cooked slowly and intentionally in small batches. Trained in international cuisine with a focus on gut-health cooking, Fisk endeavors to prepare food that makes people feel good. “If you want to feel good, you have to fill your body with real food,” she says.

With Fisk’s deep understanding of balanced nutrition and a heart for filling people with lovingly prepared food, her flavorful, nourishing meals are an investment in taste, family, and health.
Fisk provides catering for parties, events, and retreats as well as intimate meals prepared in your home or for convenient pickup. From full dinners and lunches to baked goods, charcuterie boards, and grazing islands, she tailors every menu to accommodate dietary preferences, allergies, and wellness goals. “Everything is custom curated for the client, and every event is different,” she shares.
Additionally, Fisk offers meal prep services as well as family-friendly hot dinners and freezable dishes. For busy people, this brings the family together at the dinner table without the daily struggle of meal planning and grocery shopping.
“It allows for quality time with family, sharing food like grandma would make for you,” Fisk says. Her dishes also give her clients the comfort of knowing they are eating wholesome food. “People are more aware of what they’re putting in their body; I cook foods that taste good and are good for you,” she says. “Good, quality food is less expensive than being sick. Clients say the food makes them feel good, and that’s what matters.”

For Fisk, creating delicious, beautiful dishes is an art and passion that transcends cooking; she puts her soul into every meal. “Preparing food is a spiritual thing for me,” she says. “When I prepare food, I’m tapping into a higher place. This food is a medium God is using to heal and help others.”

Songland Farms—and How You Can Start Your Own Half-Acre Market Garden

ARTICLE AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY ABIGAIL THOMSEN
Stage to Soil

Dylan Kongos has lived and traveled across the globe. Born in London and raised in South Africa, his family moved to the United States when Dylan was 10 years old, and he and his three brothers’ band, KONGOS, have written and performed hit records and songs at home and abroad. Along this journey, he’s always been fascinated by gardening and the joy of growing in diverse environments.
In 2021 Dylan and his wife, Amber, moved from Los Angeles to Wimberley for space—land to grow roots for their family and start a garden. Born a small-scale, no-till, half-acre market garden, it quickly exploded and yielded more food than they could handle, becoming what is now Songland Farms.
“It was completely unplanned and turned into momentum—this farm, this idea,” Dylan says. Over the next few years, they started building infrastructure and now have a greenhouse, wash pack, walk-in cooler, two plots, 120 fruit trees, and they’re participating in farmers markets, supplying restaurants, and will soon offer community-supported agriculture.
Amber, who is also a musician, named the garden Songland Farms, which stems from their love of music and musical heritage. “It was also inspired by the birdsongs when we first moved here in springtime. They were so beautiful—like a symphony,” Dylan explains. “We also loved the actual sound of the word ‘Songland,’ as if it were already a place you'd want to visit, like Scotland or Ireland.”

“We see our micro-farm as a place for you and your family to experience the beauty and richness of plant and animal life.”
SMALL-ACREAGE MARKET GARDENING
Market gardening means growing a variety of species in intensely small spacing without complex equipment. Dylan shares, “It’s incredible what can be grown on a tiny plot of land. Last July in our peak season, we were taking up to 500 pounds to market, restaurants, and small caterers.”
He attributes this success to one of their main principles of not tilling the soil. “The microorganism and microbial life in the soil is so lush and so rich that it produces incredibly nutrient-dense food with high yields,” he explains.
HOW TO START YOUR OWN GARDEN
1. Decide where to plant your garden. Do you have access to land or a community garden space? “Hill Country soil can often be rocky, but raised bed gardens can be started almost anywhere. YouTube and ChatGPT are amazing resources,” Dylan advises.
2. Start small. Dylan recommends starting small with one raised bed to avoid becoming overwhelmed and discouraged. Build your raised-bed garden out of wood and bring in quality soil from your local nursery or landscape supply.
3. Lettuce, basil, radishes, and tomatoes are great for beginners. These plants are easy to grow. “Tomatoes are some of the most rewarding things ever to grow. Biting into something so full of flavor and texture—you can’t explain it,” Dylan shares.
INVEST IN YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY THROUGH GARDENING
Homegrown produce is nutritious, and gardening itself has inherent health benefits. “We have to move around, get our blood flowing, and soak in vitamin D from the sun—a huge benefit of gardening,” he says.
“We'd love for the community to join us on this journey and come experience Songland with all five senses.”
“They can't control their excitement,” he says. “They're fulfilled. We love when kids come out to the farm because it’s rewarding for them and us.”
Songland Farms supplies markets, restaurants, dinners, weddings, and hosts unique workshops and educational experiences. “We see our micro-farm as a place for you and your family to experience the beauty and richness of plant and animal life,” Dylan says.
The soil is also good for health. Dylan explains, “Some studies show that being exposed to bacteria in soil— breathing it in, getting it on your hands and skin, not only boosts your immune system but can increase serotonin levels in your brain … a natural antidepressant!”
As a father, Dylan loves seeing a child light up at the miracle of growing a seed into something they can pick.
“We started this farm because we longed to connect with an essential part of our existence—why, how, and where our food comes from,” he continues. “We'd love for the community to join us on this journey and come experience Songland with all five senses.”
Visit Songland Farms at the Dripping Springs Farmers Market on Wednesdays at Ranch Park from 3 to 6 p.m.

An Investment in Luxury

TRANSFORMING YOUR BEDROOM INTO A LUXURIOUS SANCTUARY
ARTICLE BY MICHELLE LEONARD | PHOTOGRAPHY BY ABIGAIL THOMSEN

Your bedroom is one of the most important rooms in your home, and it should feel like a peaceful and relaxing retreat. Having a beautiful and well-designed bedroom improves your wellness, productivity, and peace of mind. When investing in your bedroom, focus on bedding, textiles, and functionality to create a timeless design that transforms your bedroom into a peaceful sanctuary.
Investing in high-quality bedding is one of the most important upgrades you can make for your bedroom. You spend roughly onethird of your life in bed, so it is worth investing in luxurious linens to elevate your relaxation and help you sleep better. Beautiful, wellmade bedding can transform an ordinary bedroom into a stylish and inviting retreat.
Choose materials like Egyptian cotton or linen, which not only feel sumptuous against the skin but also breathe well and improve overall comfort. When choosing your linens, start with an all-white bedding set. White is timeless, always looks clean and fresh, and creates the perfect backdrop for adding color and texture to your bedroom.
When adding color, select a color palette that resonates with serenity, evokes a sense of relaxation, and adds visual interest without being overpowering. Soft, muted tones like pastels, earthy neutrals, or cool blues and greens often create a calming ambiance.
When it comes to your style, classic design choices will ensure your space remains timeless. Invest in high-quality textiles and layer the various fabrics to create richness and warmth. Neutral palettes provide a calming backdrop, while accents in rich, deep tones can add depth and personality.
Incorporating items such as a plush area rug, textured throw pillows, and elegant window coverings can make your space feel inviting and comfortable. Consider luxurious materials like velvet, high-thread-count cotton, or linen for your window coverings. These choices not only add texture, color, and warmth; they also withstand the test of time, ensuring your bedroom remains stylish for years to come.

Finally, design a look that is functional. Consider the layout and how you use the space. Pick classic, comfortable furniture pieces with clean and simple lines, and add smart storage pieces to help you maintain an organized environment and make the room feel more spacious, calm, and inviting. A dedicated sitting area can also enhance functionality, allowing your primary bedroom to serve multiple purposes without compromising style.
Add plants to enhance the serene atmosphere and bring a touch of nature indoors. Art pieces that resonate with you add a personal touch, ensuring that your sanctuary reflects your personality and interests. When incorporating decorative accessories, keep it minimal, choose quality, and make thoughtful choices.
Remember, investing in your bedroom is more than just a home improvement project; it’s an opportunity to create a personal haven and retreat. By thoughtfully selecting furnishings and textiles, you can create a space that truly embodies serenity and relaxation, making your bedroom a luxurious sanctuary for many years to come.

THE WORLDWIDE RIPPLE EFFECT OF CHARITABLE GIVING
Impact Investing

ARTICLE BY SARAH LAMBIE | PHOTOGRAPHY BY BETH RYAN AND BRITTON HARDCASTLE
When you invest in this work, you’re funding lasting change that will benefit children and communities for generations.
Dripping Springs may be known for its friendly faces and open spaces, but it’s also known for a level of generosity that knows no borders.
From the annual Wild Game Dinner to the dozens of local fundraising galas held throughout the year, Dripping Springs is an example of altruism in action.
Through local nonprofits such as Hometown Missions and Foster Village and international organizations like Rescue One More, Dripping Springs residents’ charitable giving is creating waves of change from Mercer Street to East Africa.
One thing all donors want to know is how their gift will make an impact. What’s the return on investment? That’s where impact investing comes in.
WHAT IS IMPACT INVESTING?
Impact investing focuses on benefits that extend beyond the initial transaction.
For example, when you invest in an organization that helps vulnerable children, your expected outcome is fewer vulnerable children. But the impact of that outcome can also be significant. When children are safe and healthy, your investment can also lead to better education outcomes, greater economic growth, and improved justice systems—ultimately resulting in stronger and healthier communities.
Dripping Springs resident Robb Requard, a fiduciary advisor with Iron River Capital and the owner of Breckenridge Financial, LLC, guides families in strategic philanthropy. He suggests that when families consider giving, they look for investment returns that will manifest across multiple dimensions.
“When I discuss charitable giving with a client, I recommend they seek organizations where their donations have a compounding effect,” Requard says. “Seeing nonprofits that maximize the impact of each dollar while creating change that compounds beyond the beneficiary or cause is ideal. Giving is the easy part. Finding organizations that will compound its initial value is the challenge.”
Consider Rescue One More, which is based in Dripping Springs but operates in Uganda. Its model
exemplifies impact investing by building networks of local leaders across law enforcement, healthcare, and social services and empowering them to combat child abuse.
The immediate impact of an investment in Rescue One More is safety, justice, and healing for children. The long-term impact includes strengthened justice systems, empowered local leadership, and safer, more resilient communities.
“We’re not just addressing symptoms,” says Scott Lambie, CEO of Rescue One More. “We’re tackling root causes while empowering local leaders to prevent future abuse. When you invest in this work, you’re funding lasting change that will benefit children and communities for generations.”
BUILDING FAMILY BONDS AND LEGACIES THROUGH IMPACT INVESTING
The ripple effects of charitable giving aren’t limited to the people, causes, and communities receiving funds. Studies suggest charitable giving also fosters deeper conversations with our own children about values, purpose, and global responsibility.
“When my 11-year-old learned about Rescue One More and their mission, she immediately wanted to contribute her own savings,” shares Austin resident Linda Rose. “It’s opened the door for conversations about privilege, responsibility, and how we can make a difference in the world.”
For many families, strategic giving is a central piece of legacy planning. Beyond traditional estate considerations, they’re asking: What values and impact will outlive me?
“I want my grandchildren to inherit more than just financial assets,” says Requard. “I want them to inherit an abundance mentality. I want their first reaction to blessings they receive to be, ‘How can I bless others?’ I want them to inherit a worldview that recognizes our responsibility to effect change, especially with vulnerable children. My investment and involvement in nonprofits is teaching them that what truly matters is helping others.”

My investment and involvement in nonprofits is teaching my children that what truly matters is helping others. “ ”
CREATING LASTING CHANGE
Impact investing transforms charitable giving from a transaction to a transmission—of values, purpose, and lasting change.
When Dripping Springs families invest in organizations like Rescue One More, they create ripples that touch lives across continents while strengthening their own family bonds and legacies.

This approach to philanthropy doesn’t just solve immediate problems; it builds lasting solutions while enriching everyone involved in the process. As Dripping Springs continues to grow, its culture of radical generosity sets an example for communities everywhere. When we invest in positive change, the returns benefit us all.

DRIPPING SPRINGS ART LEAGUE
CULTIVATING CREATIVITY, COMMUNITY, AND CONNECTION
ARTICLE BY STEVE FRIEDMAN

Through the Dripping Springs Art League (DSAL), formed in 2023 with the mission of “Art, Community, and Connection,” the community’s talented artists and amazing galleries are realizing opportunities to expand their craft, find their creative tribe, and connect with art lovers within Dripping Springs and beyond.
Art by: Tiffany Sierras

To support the first two cornerstones—art and community— DSAL offers clubs, socials, and classes to support artists’ business and marketing goals.
DSAL also seeks to bring more vibrant art into the public square, including collaborations with the city such as the Stars of Dripping Springs now adorning Mercer Street and the art lounge at Songwriters Festival returning this October.
The DSAL now serves over 200 local artists, ranging from blossoming home studio artists to flourishing gallery artists, and provides dozens of volunteer opportunities for those who want to get involved. DSAL creatives span the full range of art, from every painting medium to metal art, fiber art, photography, ceramics, glass, sculpture, jewelry, and more.
DSAL is truly Dripping’s art hub for local creatives, allowing artists to find their tribe, gain artistic support, engage with the community, and build confidence through soaring sales and commissions.
In support of our third cornerstone—connection—artists showcase their talents through art exhibits at many local businesses and through art markets at Jester King Brewery, Bell Springs Winery, and Second Saturday Art Markets at the triangle in downtown Dripping Springs. Each market features 20 or more artists
sharing their products, stories, and inspiration with the curious and enthralled public.
DSAL also recognizes the many Dripping Springs art galleries that feature local artists in one location, including Primal Gallery, The Shops at Mars Beads, Mercer Street Chic Boutique & Art Gallery, Dead End Studio, Hand Made at Nutty Brown, Brenham House Collection, Blue Sky Art on Wheels, and others.
DSAL is thrilled to announce its first annual West of Weird Art Tour coming to Dripping Springs May 17 and 18. Five galleries and 30 home studio artists will participate across Dripping Springs, each location offering amazing art displays and refreshments. Visitors can see where the art is created, hear the stories behind the art directly from the artists, and take their favorite pieces home.
Stop by or plan your whole weekend to see the broadest array of art ever displayed in Dripping Springs. Attendance is free, but the experience is priceless.
Local art is a great investment in our local artists, in your community, and for your family. Join DSAL at markets and on tour, and try a club for yourself!

INVESTING IN HOME
As fathers to 12 children combined, Jonathan Clow and Scott Wilson understand the importance of home—a safe, dependable, and inspirational place that functions as well as it looks and is built to last for generations. As managing co-owners of Strong Roots Development, they guide clients through the entire building process with a mission to “inspire and develop beauty, resiliency, and independence in our local communities.”

To achieve this, they draw from their wide-ranging expertise in construction project management, real estate investment, and fine woodworking/cabinetry. Add to this their decades of finance, risk, and investment background, and you have a formidable team capable of enhancing the most vital aspects of your build: quality, efficiency, and accountability.
A common sentiment is that building a new home on raw, undeveloped land is both exciting and daunting. Technical aspects such as utilities, road planning, materials staging, environmental safety controls, or planning for future phases require a special attention to detail from
the beginning. Strong Roots brings the key insights that impact planning, along with an eye for the practical considerations that empower owners to direct resources efficiently. Why not focus on pretty pictures? Once the honeymoon of “the why and the what” is conquered, “the how” persists and ultimately determines the outcome and longevity of your home.
Building your home presents a unique moment of opportunity. “During this small construction window, you have all the necessary equipment, expertise, and materials on site. This is the perfect time to think beyond the initial structure,” says Clow.
OUR HOMES CAN SERVE AS A SEPARATE, VIBRANT, AND INSPIRING PLACE TO PROVIDE FOR THE FAMILY, WHILE ENJOYING THE CLOSE PROXIMITY OF OUR LOVED ONES.
“And when we engage, we often find that changes to water delivery, wastewater treatment, electrical power supply, and the like can be achieved simply and cost-effectively, allowing for unimpeded expansions in the future. Project savings can sometimes even be re-directed to accomplish the vision months or years sooner.”
“We consider these possibilities and impacts from the start, so clients can make informed decisions about what to include in the initial build and what can wait for later phases,” adds Wilson.
For many Strong Roots clients, this forethought is multi-faceted. For instance, in recent years, working from home has proliferated. “The pandemic reminded

us how fragile our society is, and that our homes can serve as a separate, vibrant, and inspiring place to provide for the family, while enjoying the close proximity of our loved ones,” says Clow. These needs play out as new spaces with unique features. Whole-home backup generators have become a common add-on, and rainwater collection has surpassed drilled wells as the most common water source. Additionally, utilizing edible landscapes, greenhouses, and productive animal and livestock spaces provides an element of food independence. Strong Roots’ partnership with Food Forest Abundance, a permaculture-based landscaping co-operative, powers these initiatives.

This creativity and thoroughness does not end with the physical build. More recently, Strong Roots has leaned on its investing roots to explore unique “commissioned spec” opportunities for families that may struggle with the timing of the project, such as the impracticality of being displaced for several months, maximizing the sale of their current residence, or having flexibility in securing the most favorable new home financing rate. This could be the difference between securing a dream home with move-in equity or choosing to renovate an existing home with limited returns. Strong Roots wants the investment to yield both lifestyle and financial benefits long into the future.
Strong Roots Development is committed to being “all-in” on meeting the particular needs of the families it serves. Wilson shares, “We hope to lead efforts in a way where decision-making is transparent and proactive communication is the standard. We want each client to feel educated on the plan, practices, and future maintenance of what, to most, is the biggest single financial investment of their lives.”
For Clow and Wilson, this is the truly exciting part of building: solving the puzzle for independent, sustainable, abundant living while balancing the unique and varied set of needs presented by each new owner. While your property’s complete vision may unfold over time, Strong Roots plans strategically from day one, laying the groundwork for future possibilities while maximizing your initial investment.
“Our greatest responsibility is to manage clients’ resources because your home should provide a lifetime (or two, or three) of satisfaction and enjoyment.” That is a true legacy home.

Golf Cart

Why American-Made Golf Carts Are a Smarter Long-Term Investment
When it comes to choosing a golf cart, buyers often face a big decision: go with a cheaper option made overseas, or invest in a high-quality American-made cart. While imported carts might seem like a bargain up front, those savings often don’t hold up in the long run, according to Adaam Poché, owner of Golf Cart Doods. Here’s why American-made golf carts are the better investment, both for your wallet and for your peace of mind.
BUILT TO LAST
North American manufacturers like EZGO, Club Car, Yamaha, and Navitas take pride in quality craftsmanship, using durable materials and strict production and quality control standards. This means fewer breakdowns, lower maintenance costs, and a longer lifespan compared to many overseas models, which are often made with lower-grade parts.

EASIER REPAIRS & PARTS AVAILABILITY
One of the biggest headaches with overseas carts is finding replacement parts. Many imported models use proprietary parts that are difficult (or expensive) to source. American-made carts, on the other hand, have strong dealer networks, making parts and repairs faster and easier so you can get back behind the wheel.
BETTER PERFORMANCE & SAFETY
From their stronger frames to higher-quality batteries, motors, and controllers, American-made carts are built for superior performance. Many also come with enhanced safety features, ensuring a smoother, more reliable ride—whether you’re cruising the neighborhood or hitting the golf course.
ALREADY OWN A CART? WE’VE GOT YOU COVERED!
If you already have a golf cart but didn’t purchase it from us, no worries—we still have your back. Poché can repair, maintain, and upgrade any cart to keep it running like new. Plus, we offer convenient pickup and delivery, making the process hassle-free.
GOLF CART RENTALS FOR YOUR SPECIAL EVENT
Hosting a wedding, festival, or corporate event? Our premium golf cart rentals add convenience and a touch of luxury to any occasion. Whether you need transportation for guests or a stylish ride for event organizers, we have the perfect rental solutions.

YOUR GREATEST WEALTH
Every successful investor knows the smartest investments aren’t just about money—they're about strategy, foresight, and long-term gains. You wouldn’t neglect your portfolio, so why neglect your greatest asset: your health? Just as a strong financial foundation secures your future, a well-maintained body and mind ensure you have the energy, focus, and longevity to reap the rewards of your hard work.
While you’re busy maximizing profits and making strategic financial decisions, your body is also making investments—but at a cellular level. Every day your body spends energy on repair, recovery, and optimization. Over time, without proper reinvestment, those energy reserves deplete, leading to fatigue, mental fog, and decreased performance.
One of the most valuable investments you can make in yourself is Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide (NAD+), a coenzyme that plays a critical role in cellular energy production, cognitive function, and longevity. Just like your financial portfolio, your body requires maintenance and strategic reinvestment to stay at peak performance.
THE POWER OF NAD+: A HIGH-RETURN INVESTMENT IN YOUR HEALTH
NAD+ is essential for converting nutrients into energy, repairing cellular damage, and maintaining optimal brain function. It fuels the
mitochondria—your cells’ powerhouses that generate ATP, the energy currency your body relies on for everything from critical thinking to physical endurance.
However, NAD+ levels decline as we age, dropping by nearly 50 percent by middle age. This decline contributes to fatigue, slower cognitive function, reduced metabolism, and increased susceptibility to disease. Essentially, without sufficient NAD+, your body loses the ability to sustain high energy levels and repair itself efficiently.
If you want to make the best investment decisions, you need to be on top of your game. That means optimizing your energy, cognitive function, and endurance so you can maintain focus, think clearly, and perform at your highest level.
NAD+ IV THERAPY: THE MOST EFFECTIVE ROUTE FOR MAXIMUM RETURNS
Efficiency matters. When supplementing with NAD+, not all delivery methods are
created equal, and the method you choose significantly impacts how much of this vital coenzyme reaches your cells.
• Oral NAD+ Supplements: While convenient, these are the least effective option. NAD+ taken orally is largely broken down in the digestive system, resulting in minimal absorption and negligible benefits.
• Intramuscular (IM) Injections: IM injections bypass digestion and allow for better absorption than oral supplements, but the process is slower and less efficient than IV therapy. The NAD+ must first be absorbed into the bloodstream from the muscle tissue, leading to a gradual and less potent effect.
• IV NAD+ Therapy: The most direct and efficient method, IV therapy delivers NAD+ directly into the bloodstream, ensuring maximum bioavailability and immediate absorption at the cellular level. This results in a rapid and sustained boost in energy, cognition, and recovery, making it the gold standard of NAD+ administration.

When making critical business decisions or navigating volatile markets, you need sustained energy, peak brain function, and rapid recovery. NAD+ IV therapy ensures you’re performing your best, both mentally and physically, allowing you to stay ahead of the competition and capitalize on opportunities.
WHY INVESTORS AND HIGH PERFORMERS ARE TURNING TO NAD+
NAD+ therapy is becoming a go-to resource for executives, entrepreneurs, and investors who recognize success isn’t just about working harder, but about working smarter. The benefits include:
• Increased Energy and Endurance— Power through long hours and highpressure situations
• Sharper Cognitive Function—Improve memory, focus, and mental clarity
• Enhanced Cellular Repair and Longevity— Protect your most valuable asset: your health
• Improved Stress Resilience and Recovery— Minimize burnout and maintain peak performance
INVEST IN YOURSELF—BECAUSE YOUR HEALTH IS YOUR GREATEST WEALTH
You wouldn’t let your investments sit idle, losing value over time. Why let your health stall? Prioritizing your well-being today ensures you have the vitality, endurance, and cognitive clarity to maximize opportunities and enjoy long-term success. Make the ultimate investment in your body, your mind, and your future. NAD+ IV therapy isn’t an expense; it’s a high-yield investment in a longer, sharper, and more productive life.

Windows of Opportunity

ARTICLE BY MICAH WIENER

For most people, their home is their largest investment. Whether you’re shopping for a new house or renovating your current home, it’s essential to make thoughtful decisions that improve the quality of life and the value of your home.
One investment that is often overlooked but delivers massive returns is upgrading windows and doors. The best way to maximize your investment is with a local expert that offers custom solutions unique to your home. With more than 50 years of experience, the professionals at Vista Windows and Doors offer white glove treatment and deliver performance, responsiveness, and transparency at every stage of the process.
Windows and doors serve as functional components of your home, but their impact goes far beyond protection and insulation—they are integral to your property's style, energy efficiency, and resale value. Whether you’re looking to match the modern charm of a sleek, contemporary design or bring a touch of rustic, classic elegance, the right doors and windows can bring an entire home together.
Jim Anderson is the managing partner at Vista. His team works hard to stay current on trends that help homeowners grow the return on their investment. “Thin, dark frames continue to be the driving style as homeowners want to focus more on the view than the window itself. But we are also seeing a return to the classic wood-clad window,” he says. “Staying on style is important in the same way that keeping a clean home matters. It shows care and effort that immediately makes the home more appealing to every audience, even if it isn’t someone else’s specific taste.”

New windows and doors don’t just add curb appeal; they enhance the overall performance and longevity of your home. Homeowners often anticipate cosmetic upgrades like fresh paint or new carpets when they buy a new home but can overlook worn-out windows and doors. Ignoring these performance features can cost you.
Up to 30 percent of your home’s energy can be lost through inefficient windows and doors. Leaky windows can allow precious heat to escape during the winter and let warm air in during the summer, forcing your heating and cooling systems to work overtime. By investing in new, energy-efficient windows and doors, you can significantly reduce your home’s energy consumption, keeping your spaces comfortable year-round while saving money on utility bills.

The thought of upgrading windows and doors can be intimidating, but with the help of experts at Vista, homeowners find the process simple. Vista offers concierge services, visiting your home to see what makes it unique before walking through the entire process and offering suggestions that align with your vision and budget.
Vista also offers clients access to see and feel products at its local showroom. This hands-on approach simplifies the decision-making process and empowers
homeowners to make the best choices for their home.
New windows and doors are more than just a cosmetic upgrade; they’re an investment in your home’s efficiency, comfort, and value. Whether you’re looking to enhance your home’s curb appeal, reduce energy costs, or increase resale potential, this upgrade offers long-term benefits that are hard to overlook.

HEALTH pays THE BEST DIVIDENDS

ARTICLE BY PAUL LYNGSO PHOTOGRAPHY BY KRISTEN HAFNER
In a world obsessed with financial portfolios, stock options, and retirement accounts, we often overlook the most valuable asset in our possession: our health. While traditional investments can certainly build wealth, investing in your well-being offers returns that no market can match—enhanced quality of life, increased productivity, and potentially significant healthcare savings.
Think of your body as your primary investment vehicle. Like any investment, it requires initial capital (time, effort, sometimes money) and consistent contributions to grow. The beauty of health investments is that they often compound more reliably than financial ones.
Consider this: A $50 monthly gym membership might seem expensive in the short term, but when viewed as preventive healthcare, its value becomes apparent. The return on investment transforms completely when we consider the long-term benefits. Prevention isn't just better than cure; it's significantly more cost-effective.
QUANTIFYING THE RETURNS
The financial returns on health investments are substantial:
• Studies show physically active employees take 27 percent fewer sick days than their sedentary colleagues
• Regular exercise can reduce healthcare costs by approximately $2,500 per year
• Healthy eating patterns can lower the lifetime risk of costly chronic conditions by up to 80 percent

THE MOST SUCCESSFUL INVESTORS UNDERSTAND THE power OF CONSISTENT, SMALL CONTRIBUTIONS OVER TIME. HEALTH INVESTMENTS FOLLOW THE same PRINCIPLE. YOU DON'T NEED TO TRANSFORM OVERNIGHT; SMALL, sustainable CHANGES YIELD THE GREATEST LONG-TERM RETURNS.

But the dividends extend far beyond dollars. Enhanced mental clarity helps you make better decisions. Improved mood strengthens your relationships at home and work. Better stress management allows you to stay calm during challenging situations. Increased energy levels give you the capacity to pursue passions outside of work hours.
These “soft returns” often exceed the monetary benefits, creating a virtuous cycle that touches every aspect of your life. Being the parent who has enough energy to play with their children after work, the entrepreneur whose clear thinking leads to innovative solutions, or the friend who can be fully present during conversations is invaluable. These are the real-life dividends that no financial statement can capture, yet they define the quality of our daily experience.
STARTING SMALL, GROWING CONSISTENTLY
The most successful investors understand the power of consistent, small contributions over time. Health investments follow the same principle. You don't need to transform overnight; small, sustainable changes yield the greatest long-term returns.
Begin with manageable adjustments—a 10-minute daily walk to boost circulation and clear your mind; adding protein-rich foods to each meal to support muscle maintenance; incorporating simple strength training twice weekly, even if it's just bodyweight exercises; or prioritizing seven to eight hours of quality sleep by establishing a consistent bedtime routine. As with financial investments, the earlier you start and the more consistent you remain, the greater your compound returns will be over time.
DIVERSIFYING YOUR HEALTH PORTFOLIO
A balanced investment approach requires diversification. Your health portfolio should include:
• Physical activity: both cardiovascular and strength training
• Nutritional investments: whole foods, adequate hydration
BEGIN WITH manageable ADJUSTMENTS—A 10-MINUTE DAILY WALK TO BOOST CIRCULATION AND
clear YOUR MIND.
• Mental wellness practices: stress management, social connections
• Preventive care: regular checkups, screenings
• Recovery strategies: quality sleep, rest days
When one area underperforms temporarily, strength in other areas maintains your overall health equity.
THE BOTTOM LINE
The market will fluctuate. Investments will rise and fall. But the returns on health investments remain remarkably stable and predictable. By redirecting even a fraction of the attention we give our financial portfolios to our health, we secure the capital needed to enjoy our financial success.
After all, what good is a wealthy retirement if health limitations prevent you from enjoying it? The wisest investors recognize that health and wealth are inextricably linked—and that the former often determines your capacity to enjoy the latter.
Make health your primary investment strategy, and watch as the dividends enrich every aspect of your life.

TIMELESS HOMES, LASTING VALUE
New Development Goes Beyond Brick and Mortar to Offer Homeowners an Investment in Their Families’ Future

Set within the scenic Dripping Springs landscape, a new kind of home is taking shape—one that seamlessly blends Hill Country charm with cutting-edge craftsmanship. Oak Village, an exclusive new development, is redefining Hill Country living. These homes use advanced building technology pioneered by Citra, a company that has spent the past decade refining its patented building process, architectural designs, and eco-conscious materials. In its pursuit to deliver dream homes more reliably and to more people, the Citra team has combined Swiss precision with deep local expertise to successfully develop homes and lifestyle communities across several countries. Now Citra brings its collaborative innovation to Texas. What does this mean for homeowners? Oak Village homes are built significantly faster and more efficiently than traditionally constructed buildings. Also, thermal insulation is at the heart of the technology, quite literally: The thermal core within walls offers five times the insulation performance of conventional homes, far beyond the benefits of mere insulation foam.

Highly durable materials offer superior weather resistance, and rainwater harvesting and aquifer considerations are integral to the architectural design. All of this translates to year-round comfort for homeowners, lower energy costs, and improved resilience against the unpredictable local water supply and Texas climate.
While the building technology may be groundbreaking, Oak Village maintains a strong connection to the traditions and aesthetics of Hill Country living. Inspired by classic ranch-style architecture, these thoughtfully crafted homes boast a refreshing, timeless design. The Oak Village community is intended to balance small-town charm with modern efficiency. This design ethos is reflected in the homes’ seamless indoor-outdoor spaces,
which will allow families to enjoy the natural beauty of Dripping Springs without sacrificing modern comforts.
Citra has partnered with several local providers that share the vision of helping families find homes that offer lasting value and an exceptional living experience. As the official realtors for Oak Village, the NestHaven Properties team contributes its expert local property knowledge and looks forward to working with potential homeowners once the development has launched.
In the words of Cody Johnson, NestHaven owner and co-founder, “Homeowners will enjoy effortless living and lasting peace of mind in these timelessly designed homes. The innovative building technology and thoughtful design take everything from
Nesthaven Properties is the Listing Brokerage Representing Citra’s New Development in Dripping Springs
energy efficiency and weather resistance to waste management and water conservation into account, which is critical in our area. We are excited about the efficient, approachable luxury Oak Village is bringing to the market.” In short, Oak Village promises to provide homeowners with a long-term investment in both lifestyle and legacy. With its blend of timeless design, sustainability, and durability, these homes are not only built for today, but for generations to come.
