The 3,600 square-foot Chesterfield restaurant space formerly housed a St. Louis Bread Co. The new menu offers tacos, burritos, nachos, gogi bowls, quesadillas, nachos and kimchi fried rice or slaw. David applies techniques from his family’s Korean barbecue recipes and mixes in a Mexican flair.

The Chesterfield restaurant features work by both St. Louis- and Chicagobased artists. Chicago's Alex Morales of Smartmouth Design created Seoul Taco's signature street-art inspired interior, and David Stavron of St. Louis-based Shellback Iron Works designed the furniture.

David launched Seoul Taco in 2011 in St. Louis as a food truck, then opened the first storefront location in the Delmar Loop in 2012. Seoul Taco in Chesterfield will be open from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. daily.

THE WIDE-RANGING MENU OF BISHOP'S POST, 16125 CHESTERFIELD PARKWAY W., is stocked with traditional cuisine that people crave, including steaks, pasta and comfort classics, such as fried chicken, meatloaf and three types of macaroni and cheese.

However, the menu offerings also include seafood and fish dishes with contemporary and boldly defined flavors.

Starting with an appetizer, the Bishop's Post rendition of flash-fried calamari comes with lemon aioli. Diners also can have gluten-free jumbo shrimp, wrapped in house-smoked bacon. Another appetizer is Missouri-raised trout, which is prepared with capers, tomatoes, onions, horseradish cream and served with toasted rye bread.

Can't make up your mind about what seafood appetizer to have? A great choice is seafood campechana, which is chilled cocktail shrimp and lump crab with tomato salsa, chips and a variety of crackers.

Appetizers can be followed by or substituted with seafood gumbo.

If a salad is the preferred next course, diners can add grilled salmon, fried calamari or shrimp to one of the restaurant's five salad choices.

Space management is a daily topic at one local company.

Stephanie Cline, sales and operations manager of California Closets of St. Louis, says she and the company's team of consultants believe exceptional design can transform people’s lives.

Chesterfield Lifestyle asked Stephanie how to initiate organizational approaches to the main living areas in homes. Here are her tips and new, systematized looks that can be achieved.

WRESTLING GARAGES TO THE GROUND People often need zones in their garages for tools, sports equipment, kids' toys, car care supplies, holiday décor and gardening supplies, Stephanie says.

"Within these categories, you may want general storage, or you may choose to have a workstation," she adds. "If your home doesn’t have a mudroom, the garage is a great place to have locker space for each family member to store shoes and bags."

Stephanie says when California Closets teams work with clients, she and the other consultants inventory items already at homes, and then create storage spaces to store those items together.

For garages, she recommends baskets to store balls and larger toys. Deep shelves are fantastic for larger items that typically don’t fold up or are too awkward to store inside. Stephanie says the company provides an aluminum fusion track wall that allows for several types of hooks, which can be moved anywhere on the track. The track wall holds bike hooks, garden hoses, yard tools and hand tools.

Shelving also can be mounted to the hooks.

"This wall is great for items that are needed on a daily basis or in the workstations," she says.

ESTABLISHING FUNCTIONAL MUDROOMS When approaching a mudroom, Stephanie encourages everyone to think of the items that always end up on the floor by the door or land on the kitchen counter. She says mudroom organization can be set up to be locker-style for each member of the family, or as a general storage area.

Hooks are great for items needed for everyday, quick access, such as keys, dog leashes, backpacks, purses, caps or hats. Drawers and baskets are a great way to store gloves, scarves, umbrellas and sunglasses. Having a bench in mudrooms makes storage and accessibility to shoes functional and convenient, Stephanie says.

"It's best to have the items you use daily at eye level, or at counter height, which is 36 inches from the floor," Stephanie suggests.

Adjustable shelves are great for pantries because how people shop and eat can change often. She says pullout racks for cans and spices are helpful, so those type of smaller items don’t get lost on shelves. Having snacks organized in a drawer enables knowing exactly what is there and how many, she adds.

"How many of us have grabbed a box, and went to pull the snack out, and nothing is left in the box?"

Stephanie asks.

SETTING ASIDE WINE BARS An organized wine area is hugely determined by how many bottles of wine one wants to store, Stephanie says, and whether select wines need to be kept at specific temperatures.
