LIFESTYLE LETTER

Sunshine and Spontaneity As the days stretch out longer, July always feels like an open invitation to get out, explore, and soak up every sun drenched moment summer has to offer. This month’s Summer Explore Issue is packed with destinations, experiences, and ideas designed to inspire your next getaway, whether it’s across the state or just up the road. We kick things off with “Live Like A Dude,” an unforgettable stay experience at Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa where luxury meets laid back fun with Dude Perfect. Think golf, great food, cold drinks, and the ultimate guys weekend vibes, though trust us, everyone will want in on this adventure. From there, we head north to the always iconic Lake Texoma, where summer memories are practically made by the water. We’re diving into everything you need for the perfect lake escape, from where to launch a boat and dock for dinner to stylish summer looks, lakeside stays, and can’t miss local eateries. We also explore one of Texas’ newest outdoor treasures, Palo Pinto Mountains State Park. If rugged scenery, hiking trails, and unplugging from the everyday sounds like your kind of therapy, this feature will have you planning a road trip before you finish the article. And because no summer adventure is complete without the essentials, don’t miss “What’s In My Beach Bag,” featuring Ruth Ann Robbins of Keller Williams Realty sharing her favorite sunny day must haves, from beauty staples to beach ready accessories. Summer always seems to fly by faster than we want it to. So, consider this your reminder to take the trip, book the weekend, hit the lake, explore somewhere new, and say yes to making memories. Here’s to sunshine, spontaneity, and a summer well spent. We can't wait to see you around town!

E x p e r i e n c e yo u c a n t r u s t . According to Sam Khater, the Chief Economist with Freddie Mac, rates currently stand at their lowest level in the last three spring home buying seasons. This improvement, coupled with a pickup in purchase applications and refinance activity, as well as an increase in monthly pending home sales, underscores signs of improving momentum in the market. Mike Simonsen, our in house Chief Economist at Compass, recently shared that there are as many homeowners with 3% interest rates as there are with 6%. Things are definitely starting to normalize for both buyers and sellers which has been long overdue. “WE PLAYED FOR THE WIN. WE STAYED FOR THE FRIENDSHIP.”

Olivia just wrapped up her third season with the Thunder— undefeated and a championship ring to show for it. But ask her what made it special, and she won’t talk about the scoreboard. She’ll tell you about the dugout, the chants between innings, and the friends she made along the way. At ten years old, she already understands what most of us spend a lifetime learning: “the sparkle on a ring eventually fades, but the friendships you build chasing it don’t.” That’s what we believe at Snellings Law. The work matters, but the people matter more. — Scott Snellings, Celina

PALO PINTO MOUNTAINS STATE PARK Exploring The Beauty Of Texas’ Newest Outdoor Escape Nestled in the rugged landscape between Fort Worth and Abilene, in Strawn, Texas, visitors will discover a brand-new state park. It is not often that a new Texas state park opens, making this an exciting time for nature and outdoor enthusiasts alike. Although it is a bit of a drive from the Dallas area, visitors will find the trip well worth it. Countless activities and breathtaking sights await throughout the park’s 4,800 acres. As you make your way toward Palo Pinto Mountains State Park, you will notice the terrain gradually changing. Life seems to slow down as the peaceful surroundings, beautiful rock formations, native plants, wildflowers, creeks, and scenic overlooks come into view. Brand-new amenities welcome visitors, beginning with the park headquarters. The beautiful stone-and-wood structure houses the state park store and interpretive center. Friendly staff members are available to provide park and trail maps and answer questions. Inside, visitors can enjoy stunning photography displays and learn about the park’s

history, wildlife, and natural features through informative exhibits. Clean, modern restroom facilities and a water bottle filling station are also available. Once inside the park, visitors will discover a wide variety of activities for individuals and families alike. More than 12 miles of trails are available for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Those wanting to extend their stay will find several camping options, from primitive tent sites to RV campsites with full hookups. Equestrian camping is also available. Guests can enjoy pier and bank fishing, fish-cleaning stations, and kayak rentals. No fishing license is required within the park, and fishing gear can even be borrowed from park headquarters. Spanish explorers gave the area the name “Palo Pinto,” meaning “painted sticks.” While the region is not technically mountainous,

the rolling hills and rugged terrain earned it the name Palo Pinto Mountain Range. Palo Pinto Mountains State Park Superintendent James Adams speaks proudly about the new park. “We have a great park here,” Adams says. “It was designed with accessibility in mind. We even have all-terrain wheelchairs available to loan for use on some of the non-accessible trails. People who visit are often

surprised by the topography changes here. It starts to look a lot like the Hill Country.” When asked what else visitors might notice, Adams highlighted several unique features. “I think people will really notice our dark skies,” he says. “We are currently working on obtaining our Dark Skies certification. You can see the Milky Way here, and it is amazing. Another special feature of our park is that it is a nesting area for the endangered Golden-cheeked Warbler. It is one of the few places in the state where visitors might be able to see one. Even though we are a new park, we are always looking to improve and add new features. I hope to see additional campsites and even cabins in the future.” Visitors can explore the park at 1915 FM 2372, Strawn, TX 76475, or call 254-210-5684 for reservations.

OUTSTANDING STUDENT ATHLETE OF THE MONTH

Sponsored by Lamar National Bank

Ledger Travland | Celina HS It is with great pleasure to announce the Outstanding Student Athlete of the Month as selected by the Celina Independent School District (CISD) Athletic Coaching Team. This month’s selection is upcoming senior Ledger Travland. Ledger is a shortstop, third baseman, and catcher for the Celina High School varsity baseball team. He has been a varsity player for the past two seasons and helped lead the Bobcats to a 27-11-2 record this year, advancing to the Regional Semifinals. One of his favorite memories from his athletic career came this season as he shared the field with his older brother, Urban, during their final year as teammates. From playing catch together as young children to competing together for Celina High School, the experience created memories their family will cherish forever. During the season, Ledger delivered several standout performances, including a grand slam, a three-run home run, and catching for his brother on the mound. Ledger has earned numerous honors throughout his high school career. As a sophomore, he was named First Team All-District Shortstop, and as a junior, he earned First Team All-District Third Baseman honors. He was also recognized as a State Farm Player of the Week during the 2026 season. Ledger began playing baseball at age four and has competed on select and travel teams throughout North Texas since age seven. He currently plays for USA Prime DFW.

While Ledger previously participated in football and basketball, he chose to focus exclusively on baseball beginning his sophomore year. Off the field, he has distinguished himself as a leader and servant within the school and community. He was inducted into the National Junior Honor Society, is a member of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) Celina Chapter, participates in the PALS program, and has been selected for the S.A.L.T. leadership program. He will also serve on Student Council during his senior year. Ledger credits Head Coach McCartney as a major influence in his life. “Coach McCartney has made a huge impact on Ledger and played an integral role in shaping who he is as an individual and an athlete,” his family shared. “He’s taught him life lessons through the game of baseball and what it means to be a part of something greater than yourself.” When he is not on the baseball field, Ledger can often be found training in the weight room, working in the batting cages, volunteering at youth camps and clinics, serving local charities throughout Collin County, or scooping ice cream at Stella’s. He plans to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level for as long as God has planned. Congratulations to Ledger Travland on being named the July Outstanding Student Athlete of the Month sponsored by Lamar National Bank!

Winnipeg in the winter, and a 17-year-old waits 45 minutes in the cold for Keanu Reeves. Her fingers are numb. She is not there for an autograph. She is there to ask him to appear in her audition tape for MuchMusic, Canada’s MTV. When he finally agrees, she writes her number on a gum wrapper with a borrowed lip liner. He calls days later. That 17-year-old was Jen Cohen — fitness expert, host of the Habits & Hustle podcast, and best-selling author. She has built a career on the premise her frostbitten afternoon proved. She calls the practice the 10% Target: 10 attempts at whatever you want most in life. The premise is simple. Most people never make one attempt. Almost nobody makes two. The math works in favor of the person who keeps going. The top-rated Habits & Hustle podcast has logged hundreds of conversations with high performers and the people who study what the body does to the mind. Her TEDx talk, The Secret to Getting Anything You Want in Life, has traveled widely inside Fortune 500 sales-training rooms. On the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Cohen sits down to share the working rules that are the foundation of her latest book, Bigger, Better, Bolder.

“You have to be the CEO of your own life.”

MAKE TEN ATTEMPTS The door opens, or another door does. The unmade attempt and the refused one leave you in the same place — except one of them teaches you something.

STACK THE DECK Cohen frames her habits as a wager: How do I stack the deck so I win more than I lose? The workout happens first, and the food decisions follow. The email follow-up gets sent, and the answer arrives. The choices compound in a single direction.

DISCIPLINE IS A PRACTICED SKILL, NOT AN INHERITANCE No one is born with it. The people who look disciplined are running a routine they have rehearsed long enough that it no longer feels like effort. The reps are the skill. Miss them, and the skill fades, the same as any other.

SELF-TALK ONLY WORKS WHEN THE BODY BACKS IT UP Confidence does not arrive by repeating the word. It arrives after the body has done the thing — the workout finished, the cold walk endured, the email sent. The mind takes its cues from what the body proves it can do. Talk follows action, not the other way around.

5

NEVER MISS A MONDAY The first decision sets the slope of the rest. Skip the Monday workout, and the rest of the week tends to follow. Hold the line on Monday, and the slope tilts the other way.

MY SWIM BUDDY AQUATICS CREATES A SAFE, SUPPORTIVE SPACE FOR FAMILIES TO BUILD CONFIDENCE IN THE WATER

Tiffany Hoggard and her husband, Winston, have reached an exciting milestone by relocating their business, My Swim Buddy Aquatics, from their backyard to a custom-built facility at Celina Station on Preston Road. Partnering with HBA Design and Build, Tiffany envisioned and created a swim center that is inviting and comfortable for people of all ages. The facility features a climate-controlled pool, modern locker rooms, offices, and a welcoming area for parents to watch their children progress in the water. Floor-to-ceiling glass separates the seating area from the pools, creating an enjoyable viewing experience while maintaining important safety measures and secure pool access for families. In 2008, two books profoundly influenced Tiffany: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren and The Innovation Secrets of Steve Jobs by Carmine Gallo. As she reflected on their messages, the question, “What would you do for free?” became a guiding force, prompting her to explore her true passions. Tiffany felt reassured that God was guiding her path. Despite the lengthy process of being accepted into nursing school, she ultimately realized it was not her calling and bravely stepped away to pursue a more meaningful direction.

From 2011 to 2019, Tiffany refined her unique approach to swim instruction. She partnered with approximately 60 homeowner associations, bringing swim lessons directly to community pools. Alongside a team of passionate, like-minded instructors, she developed the curriculum that still guides her teaching today. Tiffany and her team continue to meet annually to update and refine their curriculum, ensuring it aligns with the latest research and best practices in swimming instruction. Her philosophy centers on creating a safe and supportive environment where children and adults alike can enjoy the water and build new skills. Her greatest joy comes from witnessing students gain confidence and experience breakthrough “light bulb” moments in the pool. During this period of growth, Tiffany made several trips to Texas for specialized training in infant teaching techniques. Those experiences sparked her affection for the state. When the world paused during COVID, Tiffany saw an opportunity to move both her life and business to Texas. She and Winston boldly purchased a home in Celina sight unseen, relying only on photos and videos from their realtor. Once settled, they launched MSB Aquatics from their backyard, steadily building a thriving business that quickly grew through word of mouth to serve approximately 350 families. Their mission has always been to offer a full range of swim programs designed for every age, ability level, and swim goal. From first-time swimmers to advanced stroke development, their private and group lessons are built around safety, confidence, and long-term progression. After overcoming a few initial hurdles, MSB Aquatics now welcomes children, teens, and adults to its distinctive facility in Celina. The expansive indoor pool spans approximately 5,000 square feet, holds 50,000 gallons of water, and maintains a consistent depth of 3.5 to 4 feet. This thoughtful design accommodates 14 dedicated swim lesson stations, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment for all participants. CONTINUED >

MSB Aquatics was intentionally designed to be much more than a toddler swim school. At its core, Tiffany has built the business around a strong sense of community. She envisions MSB Aquatics as a lively gathering place where families connect, friendships grow, and a shared love of swimming thrives. To foster that welcoming atmosphere, the center offers Toddler and Me classes, shallow-water aquatic fitness, swim team skill-building, and swim team readiness assessments. Soon, a coffee shop will open next door, creating even more opportunities for families to relax and connect after lessons. The facility’s proximity to a spacious grassy area also gives children a safe place to play while parents unwind and socialize. Tiffany’s staff brings a variety of educational backgrounds and includes dedicated, professional swim instructors. Every instructor is certified in the exclusive My Swim Buddy Methodology, ensuring consistent, high-quality instruction rooted in safety, skill development, and positive learning experiences. The team is united by a shared passion for teaching and empowering

students to succeed. Tiffany is especially devoted to working with children and adults who are neurodivergent or have special needs, and she believes deeply in the transformative power of swimming for all. Her inspiration is deeply personal. Her nephew, who is on the spectrum, discovered a shared love of water with her, and she has cherished helping him gain confidence and strength through their time together in the pool. Tiffany, Winston, and their beloved dog, Henry, want to remind families that summer is the perfect time to strengthen water safety and swimming skills. They recommend beginning with a two-week intensive program featuring 15 to 30 sessions over four days each week to refresh swimming abilities and reinforce pool safety. Afterward, families can continue with customized lessons tailored to their individual needs. Throughout the summer, MSB Aquatics will also host several “come check us out” events, so be sure to follow their social media channels for the latest updates and opportunities. 565 S Preston Rd #110, Celina, TX

HONEY GLAZE CHICKEN THIGHS

Ingredients:

• 6-8 boneless, skinless chicken thighs (1 1/2 to 2 lbs, amount is flexible) • 2 teaspoons of chili powder • 2 teaspoons of smoked paprika • 2 teaspoons of garlic powder • 1 teaspoon of cumin • 1 teaspoon of kosher salt • 1 teaspoon of fresh cracked pepper • 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes (this is a bit spicy for me) • 1/2 teaspoon of dried oregano • 1/4 cup of Texas Range Honey (use more if you want) • 1 1/2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar

Directions:

1. Heat up your grill to around 500 F. I prefer to make these on the grill, but you can do air fryer with similar instructions or oven if you prefer (either entirely broiler, or 425F then broiler). 2. Un-tuck the chicken thighs so they are flat. Pat dry with paper towel. 3. In a small bowl, mix together all the spices. Use your hands to cover both sides of the chicken with the seasoning, then set flat onto a plate (or sheet pan if you’re using the oven). 4. Add the chicken to the grill and cook for 4 to 5 minutes, then flip and cook for another 4 to 5 minutes. 5. While it’s cooking, whip up the glaze by stirring together the honey and apple cider vinegar. 6. Once the chicken is pretty much done, use a silicone basting brush to glaze it, flip, and glaze the other side. Then cook for another minute before removing from the grill (you want the thickest part of each thigh to hit 165F). 7. Remove from the grill onto a plate, let it rest for 5-10 minutes, then serve.

1 lb carrots, halved 1 1/2 tbsp salted butter 3 tbsp Texas Range Honey 3 tbsp light brown sugar, packed 2 tsp orange juice 1/4 tsp vanilla extract Salt and pepper to taste Chopped parsley for garnish

Directions:

1. Add carrots to a medium pot with 3 cups of water over medium-high heat. Allow water to come to a boil and cook until tender when pierced (about 8- 2. 10 minutes). Drain water. 2. Next, add butter, honey, brown sugar, orange juice, and vanilla, stirring to coat the tender carrots in the pot. 3. Cook for an additional 5-6 minutes, occasionally stirring to coat the carrots. Once the carrots are glazed perfectly, then season with salt and pepper to taste, sprinkle with parsley and serve.

ENJOYING SUMMER In the moments between fishing in our pond and swimming in the pool, our family will celebrate birthdays and have outdoor parties. True to form, I love creating something traditional in an untraditional way. My beach ball garland is a spin-off of the traditional balloon garland. Everyone uses balloon garlands… so let’s make one out of beach balls instead! Everyone serves a birthday cake… how about one carved out of a watermelon for a crazy twist?? I hope you join me in the making of these fun additions to a party!

Beach Ball Garland

Have you ever noticed that when blown up, beach balls have a little plastic loop that forms where they are blown up and sealed? It makes for the perfect place to string twine through and use as an outdoor “balloon” garland! String it up, add some extra beach balls to the pool or yard and you have all the party decorations you need!

Materials • 2 packs of assorted sized beach balls (assorted 20”, 16” and 12” for a total of 36) • 1 pack of mini beach balls (5” sized, total of 25) • Thin rope or twine • Air pump

Instructions ARTICLE AND PHOTOGRAPHY BY LEANN PARKER

56

S EASON A L SE T U P S | FO OD + BE VE RAGE

1. Using an air pump, blow up all the beach balls... It takes a while! 2. Arrange inflated beach balls in a line on the ground, alternating sizes as you go. 3. Starting on one end, thread your string or twine through the blow loop of each beach ball until you reach the end. 4. Tie each end of your beach ball garland to a post or tack to a wall.

Watermelon Cake

A cake that you could eat for breakfast! Made only of fruit and (if you want to go real crazy) some fresh mint and whipped cream too. A few years ago we started making watermelon cakes for our summer birthday celebrations due to one of our little ones suffering from food allergies. In order to make a cake that even she could enjoy, the watermelon cake was born in our lives. Even if you don’t have family or guests with food allergies, this cake is a thriller and loved by all!

Ingredients • • • • • •

2 large watermelons Assortment of berries and fruit 4 wooden skewers Toothpicks Whipped cream (optional) Fresh mint (optional)

Instructions 1. Prep both watermelons by cutting off the rinds and sculpting to create a cylinder shape with a flat top and bottom. Make the bottom cylinder bigger and the top cylinder slightly smaller. 2. Stack your smaller watermelon on top of the larger using wooden skewers to support the center. 3. Use assorted berries and fruit to decorate the outside of your watermelon cake. For the sides of the cake, use toothpicks to help the berries stay in place. 4. Serve alone or with a dollop of homemade whipped cream.

Birdwatching Made Simple

EXPERT TIPS TO MAKE BACKYARD BIRDING A FASCINATING AND PEACEFUL PART OF YOUR LIFE. ARTICLE BY MARSHALL ZWEIG PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED

Thinking of putting up a bird feeder? You’re not alone. Backyard birding is the second most popular hobby in the U.S.—right behind gardening. Bob Gors of Wild Birds Unlimited in Macomb, MI, shares expert tips to help you get started—and get results.

START WITH THE RIGHT SETUP If you’re new to bird feeding, don’t overcomplicate it. Bob recommends starting with a tray feeder, either pole-mounted or hung. “It’s accessible to the widest range of birds,” he says, “and it lets you experiment with different seed blends.” Before setting up, take a look at your yard. Birds prefer to feed near trees or shrubs where they can perch and scan for predators. “If your yard is wide open, it’s going to be harder to attract them,” Bob notes. Quick Tip: Place your feeder about 15 feet from trees or shrubs to give birds a safe place to wait their turn.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT SEED—AND SKIP THE FILLERS Not all bird seed is created equal. Bob advises avoiding blends with fillers like milo, wheat, or oats. “Those are agricultural leftovers. Most birds won’t eat them.” Each Wild Birds Unlimited store owner customizes their seed blends, based on the birds in each store’s specific area. Their blends contain no fillers—just high-quality ingredients birds actually eat. They’re available in no-mess varieties—no shells, no waste. “With standard seed, up to 40% of the weight of the bag is shells,” Bob says. “No-mess is 100 percent pure bird food.” Quick Tip: Choose fresh, unscented, unflavored seed. Birds don’t need additives—just what they’d eat in nature. Check the ingredients on the bag: sunflower should be the first ingredient—since it’s the seed most birds love.

KEEP UNWANTED GUESTS AWAY Squirrels causing trouble? Try safflower seed. “It tastes bitter to squirrels but attracts cardinals, grosbeaks, titmice, nuthatches and chickadees,” Bob says. Hot pepper blends also work—birds can’t taste the heat, but mammals can. To deter large birds like starlings, Bob recommends using a cage around tube feeders to limit access. Tube feeders with small perches help discourage bigger birds. For tidier feeding, seed cylinders—compressed seed—are a great low-mess option.

60

P E T F R IE N D LY | L I FE + C U LT U RE

Quick Tip: “Start simple,” Bob advises. “Watch what’s happening in your yard, then adjust as needed.” Unlike loose seed, cylinders make the birds work harder—and give you longer-lasting views of the birds.

SPOT BIRD BEHAVIOR (AND BACKYARD DRAMA) Once your feeder’s up, the show begins. “Different species act differently,” Bob explains. “Cardinals are typically the first and last birds of the day to the feeder. Male hummingbirds are very territorial and will defend ‘their’ feeder. Chickadees come to the feeder in a flash; they have a grab-and-go strategy. “In our backyard, orioles and bluebirds battle over live mealworms,” he adds. “The female bluebird often holds her ground.” Quick Tip: You don’t need to track every species. “Just sit back with a cup of coffee and watch,” Bob says. “You’ll start noticing more than you’d expect.”

SEASONAL CHANGES TO EXPECT Feeder activity increases in summer, thanks to fledglings. “By July, your bird population has basically doubled,” Bob says. At the same time, some favorites—like male orioles—start their fall migration as early as July. One common myth? That goldfinches leave in winter. “They stay put,” Bob says. “But the males molt into drab-colored feathers, so people often don’t recognize them.”

HOW TO ATTRACT SPECIFIC BIRDS

Expert Care

Want cardinals? Use tray feeders or tube feeders with U-shaped perches. “They’re heavier birds,” Bob says. “Standard tube feeders are hard for them to use.” Hoping for bluebirds? They prefer park-like settings. If your yard fits, try a nesting box with a 1.5-inch entrance, and offer live mealworms far away from the nest box. Hummingbirds? Stick to sugar water—no red dye needed. “And expect a show,” Bob adds. “Males are fiercely territorial at the feeder.” Wild Birds Unlimited carries feeders tailored to specific birds, but Bob and his team focus on fit. “We ask about your yard, your goals, and guide you from there.” Quick Tip: Not sure what birds are in your area? Ask your local Wild Birds Unlimited shop.

WHY BIRD WATCHING STICKS Bob says many customers started birding during the pandemic—and never stopped. “They looked out the window and realized something was there,” he says. It’s remained part of their lives: one couple told Bob they still start every morning on the porch with coffee and birdsong. “It became a ritual that many people now cherish,” Bob says. For expert help making bird watching your ritual, stop by Wild Birds Unlimited in your area or visit wbu.com.

Effortless vacation style isn’t about having the perfect outfit for every moment—it’s about having the right foundation to make every moment look intentional. When you know how to build a capsule travel wardrobe, you’ll avoid agonizing over what to wear and spend more time actually enjoying your getaway, all while looking like you have a personal stylist tucked in your carry-on. Here’s your go-to list for this season’s travels:

1. THE EFFORTLESS STATEMENT SET A coordinated two-piece (linen, silk, or cotton) that transitions from day to night. Sets are easy to wear, photograph, and offers effortless ways to look put together. Bonus: you can mix and match the pieces with other items that you pack. I would recommend packing multiple sets to make it even easier to mix and match. For both men and women, simply focus on neutrals and, if you want to add color, make sure it coordinates well with other items in your luggage.

2. THE MOOD-ALTERING PIECE A sweeping dress in a bold print or luscious fabric that makes you feel sensual, grounded, and free. Find something that moves with you and captures light beautifully. This is your dreamy piece— flowy fabrics with movement that captures the eye and works for any kind of event.

3. THE LUXE FLAT OR SCULPTURAL SANDAL Find footwear that balances style and comfort. Look for interesting shapes or materials (like leather with architectural cutouts or metallic finishes). More than shoes—they’re anchors for adventure, grounding your aesthetic wherever you land. This goes the same for men. Your footwear can also make an impact through the braided details of your sandals or the canvas of a casual slip-on loafer.

4. THE TRANSITIONAL THIRD PIECE Think: kimono, over-sized linen blazer, a lightweight duster, or a gauzy button-down left open. This is your layering hero that adds polish without effort. It’s an aura amplifier that instantly makes your outfit feel styled and intentional.

5. INTERESTING AND IMPACTFUL SUNGLASSES Sunglasses with personality is a must. They could be over-sized, cat-eye, or tinted lenses that feel more like “cinematic escape” than “just functional.” Because you’re not sightseeing—you’re starring in your own travel film.

6. A SCULPTURAL CARRYALL A bag that holds your essentials but looks like art— think woven textures, unique shapes, or buttery leather. Practicality meets poetry. You deserve a vessel that carries your dreams...and your SPF.

7. SIGNATURE SCENT OR TRAVEL CANDLE Pack travel-sized fragrance or a tiny candle that evokes your essence or complements the location. Scent is meant to ignite memories and set the tone— infuse your travels with an olfactory signature.

8. ACCESSORIES WITH A STORY A few intentional pieces such as a ring from a market you found during your travels, a layered necklace that serves as an easy throw-on, or a straw hat to protect your face from the sun (even if it’s a cooler climate, because remember, safety first: don’t get burnt).

This adorable outdoor play space is not only easy and inexpensive to build, but it is full of charm and the perfect spot for the kids to play and lounge. The A-frame structure is easily customizable to any style and color scheme desired. Leave the wood bare, or add flare with paint or stain. An outdoor clubhouse provides a space that allows kids

to make it their own and to let their imaginations run wild spending time outdoors. For this project, we visited our local hardware store to get all the necessary supplies we needed. The deck is an 8 x 10 decking so there is no need to cut down the length of any boards and pressure treated wood was used. First, dig holes CONTINUED >
