CREATE MEMORABLE EXPERIENCES WITH FULL-SERVICE EVENT MANAGEMENT AND DESIGN TEAM BIG TIME CREATIVES
Imagine your next event as a breathtaking masterpiece. This might be a lavish fundraiser, an inspiring conference, or a show-stopping birthday bash. Perhaps it’s even the engagement party or wedding celebration of your dreams. No matter what you are preparing for, Big Time Creatives provides an incredible eye.
Some moments are too special to be ordinary. Big Time Creatives excels in transforming them into spectacular experiences. Their team brings extensive expertise in conceptualization, budget management, and design to make any event break out of the box. By handling every facet of your event, they allow you to relax and enjoy, confident your vision is in good hands.
“If it’s a nonprofit or corporation that needs help with an event, we like to be an extension of their team and make them feel like we work with them from start to finish. Or if it’s a social event, we become friends of the family,” says Event Expert Julie Raley. “We have coined that we are chaos whisperers. The more hectic a situation, the more we thrive.”
Big Time Creatives also boasts a list of vetted vendors, enabling them to execute these enchanting spectacles. A prime example is their first international award for a Moulin Rogue-themed gala, complete with singing and dancing performers. Co-owners David Reed and Jordan Adams oversaw many moving parts to deliver a night of unforgettable entertainment.
Earlier this year, Raley brought home another win for Big Time Creatives—International Live Events Association Austin’s Best Event Planner 2024—with their Bridgerton gala. Despite it being her debut as the lead planner and facing tough competition, Raley was widely celebrated for going above and beyond.
As the team’s meticulous planning unfolds, the results are nothing short of amazing. Big Time Creatives pushes the boundaries of what’s possible, putting the “art” in “party.”
“You’re creating an environment to transform when someone walks through that door or that tunnel or that arch. It becomes art, and it becomes a special moment. It’s all about the dialogue it creates—the ooh, ah, and wow moments I live for,” says Reed. “Don’t be scared to dream big. We’ll make it happen for you.”
Just ask yourself: Who is going to be at your event? Does your prospective venue fit the function? What are you trying to accomplish?
With Big Time Creatives’s global network of vendors, the answers are always within reach, whether your event is set in Austin, Las Vegas, or even Paris. Their award-winning team will translate your vision into reality.
“There’s so much build-up with planning, but the actual being on-site is where I’m most confident,” says Adams. “When I get goosebumps once an event has been put together, I know I’ve done my job. And when people walk in the room and they’re amazed at what they’re seeing, it’s all worth it. That’s what keeps me going every single day.”

Ready to calm your mind, elevate your mood, and revive your senses as you take on a rhythm-based CycleBar ride?
First things first, instructors recommend staying hydrated and energized with pre-workout, water, and electrolytes. Then, it’s time to gear up for CycleBar Cedar Park’s low-impact, high-intensity cycling experience by choosing the right outfit.
For an optimal ride, wear Dri-Fit clothing that keeps you cool while you work hard, such as breathable leggings and moisture-wicking tops. Supportive sports bras are also a must. And don’t forget to invest in quality cycling shoes to improve your connection to your CycleBar bike—just be sure they are Delta clip or SPD clip compatible.

There’s no fitting in or standing out at The League. Their mission is to welcome everybody—and every body —into a fully inclusive and modifiable athletic circuit training experience. Whether you are a day-one beginner, a pro athlete, or a weekend warrior, their instructors celebrate it all.
At 70, the most seasoned Leaguer comes to move in a T-shirt and windbreaker pants, while millennials can be found rocking the latest drops from their co-branded line with lululemon. But for the team at The League, they believe the best way to show up fashionably is by showing up authentically. As Deion Sanders once said, “Look good, feel good. Feel good, play good!”

Join in the Treasure of the Hills fun at the 2024 Senior Expo on October 5th at Twin Lakes Family YMCA! This is your chance to meet local businesses with services, products, and information geared toward Greater Austin’s seniors and their families. See more about this event at: toth-seniors.com
When you think of a vibrant senior center, Treasure of the Hills should come to mind. This organization is a cornerstone for seniors, offering a variety of activities, fostering community spirit, and providing a platform for continuous learning and socialization.
Because it falls under Cedar Park Parks & Recreation, Treasure of the Hills benefits from excellent support and maintenance, ensuring its facilities are always in top condition for members. They also have their voices heard about exciting events like their recent competitive Puzzler Party, upcoming Painted Churches Tour day trip, and Lunch and Learns covering topics like artificial intelligence.
“We have about 300 members, but Lunch and Learns are designed to be of interest to many people,” says Midge Norris. “This core group has had lots of games and interaction. Our intention now is to welcome the rest of the community and let them know who we are and what we do here because it’s really important.”
It all started with a game of bridge in 1991. But with monthly lunches and dinners for non-retired seniors to get involved, along with regular jewelry making, book clubs, and tai chi, there’s now something for everyone. Planning these programs and activities is a collaborative effort where even the wildest ideas are encouraged.
“Our ideas come from all over the place. You never know when one’s going to spill out of one of our mouths,” says Vice President Chris Campbell.
Treasure of the Hills stands out for its inclusivity. Members share their diverse, multicultural backgrounds to create a space where every voice is celebrated.
“The people here have such a depth of experience,” says President Ellen Fannin. “They’ve owned businesses, were on huge projects with the government, you name it. It’s so fascinating to find out what individuals were involved in.”

When Caeley Looney packed her bags for Texas, she had no idea she was starting a job quite as historic as it is. The new chapter in her career quickly turned into a groundbreaking milestone in space exploration, with Firefly Aerospace up next to take their lander Blue Ghost to the moon at the end of this year.
Caeley, who holds a Master’s in Space Systems Engineering and has a background in small satellites,
is now the first woman to serve as a flight director for a lunar landing mission. She is joined by three female assistant flight directors, all undergoing cross-training to ensure mission readiness.
“I watched other commercial programs give it a try—not a single woman in their control rooms. Now it’s our turn, and I’m really excited to be given this opportunity,” says Caeley. “It’s been hardcore
See how Mission Operations Engineer Caeley Looney is creating a lunar legacy by reinventing the future of science, technology, engineering, and math
training and preparations, running 12-hour tests to make this a success. It’s been crazy, but it’s all good crazy because the end result is literally making history.”
Long before diving into daily simulations and environmental testing, Caeley was a robotics student with dreams of becoming a fashion designer. Today, she still draws great strength from that creative spirit, which fuels her work with her STEM-focused nonprofit, Reinvented Inc.
“Creativity and engineering go more hand-in-hand than most people will ever realize. In college, when you’re told to follow the textbook, you start to think that everything is very black and white,” says Caeley. “But when you get into the industry, the reality is that to be innovative and to do awesome things takes a lot of new ideas. Make sure you don’t lose that piece of yourself while you’re trying to find your way in STEM.”
• Reinvented Magazine: As the founder of the nation’s first print magazine for women in STEM, Caeley aspires to break barriers and inspire girls in low-income and rural areas to pursue the field.
• Princesses with Powertools: Countrywide, volunteer princesses teach students how to create STEM-based projects, showing that femininity and engineering aren’t mutually exclusive.
• STEM Fashion Show: This past summer, (role)models and designers traveled to Austin for Cosmic Couture—a night to remember with STEM-centric designs and fun fashion galore.
• Space Gala: Held at the Kennedy Space Center Rocket Garden this coming November, women in STEM get to mingle while dressed in their favorite ball gowns and steel-toed boots.

“Our staff is dedicated to making everyone’s event go over the top. We hire the type of people that gain joy from being successful in your event,” says General Manager Michael Tobias. “That’s why there are families who have been booking holidays with us for 10 years in a row.”
“From the beginning, I’ll be the lead point of contact, planning everything from menus to wines, decor to florals—anything special someone needs,” says Sales & Events Manager Misty Montague. “Many guests have never hosted a large party like this before, so we guide them through it.”
Truluck’s is equally devoted to making a positive impact in the community. The Arboretum location champions several local causes, including the Center for Child Protection, Austin Angels, and Pay it Forward with Daniel Curtis. They have also donated soup to the Austin Empty Bowl Project for many years, and have long uplifted the National Breast Cancer Foundation through J. Lohr Carol’s Vineyard wine sales in October.
“We always ask our staff and our guests what’s important to them and if there are causes we can partner with so that we can give back to the Austin area,” says Tobias. “This isn’t just a job—it’s our career, our identity, our passion.”

DELIVER JOY WITH GLOBALLY CURATED PRODUCTS FROM SHOP LC
Shop LC is LIVE! All day, every day, you can tune into their broadcast reaching over 75 million homes across the country.
From fashion to beauty to home goods, Shop LC offers everything to elevate your lifestyle. However, their core market is rooted in the brand’s origins—gems and jewelry. With an exclusive selection of designer pieces, you’ll uncover treasures that are both stunning and affordable.
“Most of the jewelry we sell is manufactured by our parent company in India, where we have about 3,000 people working for us. Similarly, in China, Thailand, and Indonesia, we have offices that are day in and day out finding innovative new products for our customers. They help us source great quality products at great prices,” says President Vineet Ganeriwala.
Since its inception in 2007, Shop LC has achieved tremendous growth. Their Round Rock location has expanded from approximately 7,000 square feet to 140,000, now spanning three buildings.
Looking ahead, Shop LC plans to break ground in Cedar Park for its new headquarters in 2027. This move will consolidate their operations under one roof. As a champion of ethical practices, this facility will also be more energy-efficient to contribute to a more sustainable future.
“Our mission statement is tied to our philanthropic efforts, to provide one million meals per day by 2031,” says Ganeriwala. “We have
a program called Your Purchase Feeds which is that for every product we sell, we provide one meal to a school-going child. This is done through our charity ties—the biggest mid-day meal organization Akshaya Pātra in India, and No Kid Hungry in the U.S.”
Additionally, Shop LC gives back to the community through its series of in-person workshops hosted by industry professionals. Known as Gem Fest, these workshops cover topics like styling, skincare, and gem crystals, and include free jewelry repairs and cleanings. What began as an invitation-only event drawing guests from Dallas and Houston has evolved into a public experience featuring live show viewings and host meet-and-greets.
Shop LC’s commitment to community engagement underscores its broader goal of delivering joy. This approach is crucial in a dynamic, fast-paced market where adapting to customer needs is key.
“In TV home shopping, we have to guess what customers would want and produce content around that,” says Ganeriwala. “There are many complex international operations, handling different time zones, warehouses, and automations. Our organization has a great culture for employees in terms of learning development and having the authority and responsibility to drive. It keeps every day interesting, and the fun never ends.”
