The facility offers Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), a safe, noninvasive, and scientifically supported treatment. YOUR PERFECT TRIP, Planned

TRAVEL PLANNER JILLIAN GIBAS SHARES THE STRATEGIES SHE USES TO DESIGN THOUGHTFUL, STRESS-FREE VACATIONS FOR HER CLIENTS

Jillian Gibas formed her travel business during an RV trip around the country in 2020—and she hasn’t looked back since.

A self-described independent traveler who doesn’t particularly enjoy tour groups or packaged itineraries, she aims to offer clients something different: perfectly customized travel plans tailored to their tastes and travel goals.

By partnering with destination specialists native to locations around the globe, Gibas provides highly specific recommendations for any activity clients can imagine—whether dining, shopping, sightseeing, or unique local experiences.

Whether you’re planning a relaxing getaway to the Caribbean or an immersive two-week journey through Europe, Gibas can help make the travel planning process seamless and stressfree. Here are some of her best tips for planning the perfect vacation you’ve been dreaming of.

"The beautiful thing about working with a travel planner is that you don’t lose control. We collaborate step by step to create the trip together."

Start with a goal, not just a destination.

Whether you’re traveling solo or with family, think about the overall purpose of your trip. Defining that goal early can make a big difference, especially when you’re traveling with a larger group. It helps narrow down destination options and shapes the kinds of experiences you’ll plan along the way.

Accommodations matter.

Ideally, you’ll want to stay somewhere centrally located so you’re not constantly relying on taxis or navigating public transportation just to get around. It can make a big difference in how much you’re able to see and do during your trip.

Leave space for breathing room.

Don’t try to do it all. It’s easy to get caught up in the idea that you have to see and experience everything a city has to offer. If that’s the kind of trip you enjoy, that’s perfectly fine—but remember that travel doesn’t have to mean constantly rushing from place to place.

Start planning earlier than you think.

“The travel industry has never been busier,” says Gibas. Booking early helps ensure you’re able to secure the accommodations, tours, and experiences you want, and it takes much of the stress out of planning. Gibas recommends booking at least six months in advance for spring break trips and six to nine months ahead for travel during the busy holiday season.

Stay organized.

Keep all of your confirmation emails in one place in your inbox so they’re easy to find when you need them. Gibas provides her clients with a digital travel itinerary that keeps all of their plans in one convenient place.

Outsource your planning.

Of course, there’s also the option to outsource your planning to a travel designer like Gibas. She helps clients plan every detail of their trip—from choosing a destination and booking flights to arranging lodging, tickets, restaurant reservations, and transportation. However, she’s only as involved as her clients want her to be.

“The beautiful thing about working with a travel planner is that you don’t lose control in the process,” Gibas says. “We collaborate step by step to create the trip together.”

ARTICLE BAILEY MORRIS PHOTOGRAPHY PROVIDED

TAKE COLOR INTO ACCOUNT

Decide on a color scheme that includes 2-3 colors that complement each other.

CONSIDER PLANT HEIGHT

When choosing which plants you will use, take into consideration how tall the plants will grow and place the tallest in the back.

USE THE RIGHT SOIL

Different flowers have different soil requirements. Make sure you check what soil will fit your plants' needs best.

SUN AND WATER REQUIREMENTS

Look at the location of the flower beds. Is it in a sunny area or a shady area? Depending, make sure you choose flowers that will thrive in that area.

INCLUDE A FOCAL POINT

Create a centerpiece with some fun decor. You can use a bird bath, fountain, or even an antique wagon filled with more flowers.

WELCOME TO REVIVAL

Brookfield’s new health club delivers a premier boxing, fitness, and wellness experience

“My boxing journey was written when I was young,” Mari Bautista says. At just nine years old, she insisted her father teach her the sport—one she had spent years watching from the sidelines as he and her older cousins trained. What began as childhood curiosity quickly grew into something more,

setting the foundation for a passion that would shape who she is today.

“My father believed in me and didn’t let me quit,” says Bautista. “He brought out the best in me through the sport.” Now, she carries that same mindset forward, bringing her talent and passion to Brookfield’s premier boxing fitness and wellness club, REVIVAL. “What my father did for me,” she says, “I want to do for others.”

REVIVAL officially opened on April 18, bringing its mission of fitness and wellness to Brookfield. Open to fitness enthusiasts of all levels and experience, the business concept was formed by partners Eric Goetsch, Jeff Jasso, Sarit Singhal, and Rob Miller. It was brought to life through a shared passion for longevity, a commitment to helping others, and a few chance encounters along the way.

FROM CONNECTION TO CREATION

Goetsch first met Jasso—also REVIVAL’s lead boxing trainer—about a decade ago, when Jasso was teaching a boxing fitness class at Goetsch’s company. “We totally hit it off,” Goetsch says. “I loved his class and became completely hooked on boxing.”

Then COVID hit, and the world shut down. Jasso relocated to Tennessee with his family, but the two stayed in touch, maintaining the connection that would eventually help bring REVIVAL to life.

As businesses began to reopen, Goetsch explored a variety of other boxing fitness gyms—but one by one, they closed their doors. “I messaged Jeff,” he says. “I told him, ‘You and I need to open a boxing gym in Milwaukee.’”

Jasso and his wife traveled back to Wisconsin to discuss the idea, and by the end of the meeting, the

decision was clear: they would make the move back. The two then partnered with Sarit Singhal, a local businessman and a partial investor in the plaza that houses REVIVAL, and Rob Miller, a custom home builder, who planned and built out the facility.

REDEFINING SUCCESS: LIVING LONGER, LIVING BETTER

It was Singhal’s wife, Lisa, who encouraged him to begin prioritizing his health. As the owner of technology firm Superior Support Resources, as well as an investment company, his life has always been busy. But he’s seen many professionals around him work tirelessly for decades, only to face serious health challenges by the time they reach retirement.

“I’ve accomplished all of these things,” he says, “but if I can’t enjoy them from a life standpoint, what have I really done? Life is stressful for everyone right now, and the more you can do to take care of yourself today, the better. Modern medicine can help us live longer, but living longer without quality of life isn’t truly living. That’s exactly the vision behind REVIVAL—we wanted one place where you can focus on fitness, wellness, and longevity, all in one.”

WHERE BOXING MEETS CUTTING-EDGE TRAINING

What began as an idea for a 1,500-square-foot boxing facility quickly evolved into something much larger—a full wellness experience tailored to each member’s individual goals and interests.

The first thing you see when entering REVIVAL is the boxing circuit. It provides a drop-in 15-station boxing experience designed to challenge the body and sharpen the mind, all with trainer guidance. The last station is the boxing ring, where you apply your skills by punching focus mitts held by your trainer. In addition to the circuit, REVIVAL offers trainer-led group boxing classes, as well as yoga, Pilates, and barre for a full-body approach.

REVIVAL is also proud to be the only club in Wisconsin to feature Keiser fitness equipment—resistance-training machines that use air pressure instead of weights. Each machine tracks digital data, displaying reps, resistance, and power output, giving members and their trainers a clear picture of progress.

WHERE STRENGTH MEETS SELF CARE

While REVIVAL training benefits everyone, there are unique advantages for women, says Leah Letson,

“Most of the people coming in here have never boxed before. This club is for anyone—from complete beginners to someone training for a boxing match. We have the ability to give each person what they need at the highest level.”

REVIVAL trainer. Having trained in martial arts since she was five, Letson returned to the practice while preparing for basic training with the Wisconsin Air National Guard. She later learned Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and competed in season 28 of The Ultimate Fighter.

“Cardio boxing and kickboxing are especially beneficial for women because they combine strength training, cardio, and mental empowerment into one highly effective workout,” says Letson. “These sessions burn calories, build lean muscle, and improve endurance without adding bulk. They also enhance coordination, balance, and core stability.”

Beyond the physical benefits, boxing can boost confidence and reduce stress, giving women a sense of control and resilience that extends into everyday life. “It’s also a practical way to develop self-defense skills in a supportive, high-energy environment—making it both empowering and functional for overall health and well-being,” she adds.

TRAIN, RECOVER, THRIVE

Recovery is just as important as the workout itself. Members can unwind in private luxury recovery suites equipped with red light therapy, cold plunge, infrared sauna, and contrast

therapy. Memberships are fully customizable, allowing members to choose the workouts and recovery modalities that suit them best. All members enjoy access to the upscale locker rooms, complete with a dry sauna for post-workout relaxation.

The REVIVAL team is already planning to expand its wellness offerings, including healthy meal services available for convenient pickup from the facility’s walk-in cooler. Members can also look forward to educational sessions and a partnership with a local healthcare provider, bringing even more comprehensive wellness resources under one roof.

NO INTIMIDATION NECESSARY

Anyone who feels intimidated by the idea of entering a boxing club need not worry, says Rob Miller. “Most of the people coming in here have never boxed before. This club is for anyone—from complete beginners to someone training for a boxing match. We have the ability to give each person what they need at the highest level.”

No matter what your fitness level, the Revival team is ready for you, Bautista says.

“All it takes is one person to believe in you, to push you, and not allow you to give up when things get hard. I want to remind people why they’re doing it,” she says.

“I want to be the person who brings out the best version of you,” Bautista continues. “I want you to use this sport as an outlet, whatever you’re going through. Leave it out on the floor, in the bag, in the ring. That’s what brought me to being a boxing coach. That’s why I’m here today—and why I want to be here for the future of REVIVAL.”

DIY DAY

INSPIRATION FOR A MOTHER/ DAUGHTER DIY DAY

WITH MOM

An afternoon spent together is priceless with today’s busy schedules. Instead of going out, staying in can provide quaint, quiet one-on-one time for a mother and daughter (or multiple daughters). Finding time on calendars is the hard part, and filling that time is all fun from there. Here are a few favorite ideas for inspiration that may spark excitement for planning those special times together.

01 Interview Journaling

Storytelling makes for the best memories. Structure memory recall by filming or journaling interview-style question-andanswer sessions, cataloging information for future generations. Videos and notes with detailed family adventures are priceless, and we all always wish we had more of them.

02 Charm Necklaces 03

Custom DIY charm necklaces and bracelets are trending. Gather a theme idea: birthstones, family initials, travels or even favorite hobbies, and procure charms from your local craft store or online shop. Selecting charms for each other also could be a fun way to bring delight to the crafting occasion. Necklaces and bracelets can be made for each other, or as future gifts for upcoming occasions such as a family wedding, a birthday milestone or an anniversary.

Text conversations around kitchen tips or ingredient procurement seem endless. Spend some time together in the kitchen preparing favorite family recipes, sharing Mom’s best tips and tricks. Choosing freezer-friendly meals is a great way to walk away with meals for upcoming busy days. There’s nothing like Mom’s recipes!

Photo Archive Day

Printed photos are often stored in boxes or tubs with little organization. Perhaps you have photos of your own, or even a grandparent who has passed, that need an organization overhaul. While these projects can be daunting, ‘many hands make light work.’ Group the photos by decade and file them in order. Consider purchasing a photo scanner to digitize the files for future generations. Photo organization always brings storytelling, laughter and warm memories.

BECKY HILLYARD

From Side Hustle to Style Empire

The power of taste, trust, and the courage to “just start.”

She didn’t have a business plan, a media budget, or even a name anyone could pronounce. What Becky Hillyard had was taste, a young family, and the instinct to just start. Today, her lifestyle brand Cella Jane commands an audience the size of Vogue’s, she’s nine collections strong with Splendid, and she’s built it all while raising three kids — refusing to sacrifice one for the other. In an exclusive conversation for the Share the Lifestyle podcast, Becky shares what it really takes to build a brand, a career, and a life you love. Read the highlights below, then scan the QR code for the full conversation.

Q: WHEN DID YOU KNOW CELLA JANE WAS MORE THAN A HOBBY?

A: Two moments. Women started emailing me saying they bought something I recommended and felt amazing — asking me to help them find a dress for a wedding. That felt incredible. Then I looked at my affiliate numbers for one month and realized I could cover our mortgage. I thought, I can actually do this. I never set out to build a business. I started it because I genuinely loved it.

Becky in Splendid x @CellaJaneBlog Spring 2026 Collection

Q: WHAT WAS THE BIGGEST RISK YOU EVER TOOK WITH THE BRAND?

A: Designing my own collection. It’s easy to point at items on a website and say I love these. But to create something from scratch, put your name on it, and wait to see if people connect with it — that’s terrifying. I had an incredible partner in Splendid, and women loved the pieces. It was the biggest risk and the biggest accomplishment.

Q: HOW HAS INFLUENCER MARKETING CHANGED SINCE YOU STARTED?

A: When I started, brands didn’t know whether to take it seriously. Now it’s a legitimate line item in their marketing budgets — sometimes bigger than TV. Because what we’ve built is trust. People trust a real recommendation from someone they follow far more than a commercial. There’s no question about it now.

Q: YOU’RE A MOM OF THREE RUNNING A FULL BRAND. WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ACTUALLY LOOK LIKE?

A: I try to get up at five and not hit snooze — that first hour before the house wakes up is the most productive, most peaceful hour of my day. Then it’s all hands on deck with the kids and school drop-off. After that I work — planning content, connecting with my team, editing. After pickup, the day shifts completely and it’s all about them. I’ve learned to protect both halves fiercely, because both matter.

Q: WHAT WOULD YOU TELL SOMEONE WHO WANTS TO BUILD SOMETHING OF THEIR OWN BUT KEEPS WAITING?

A: Don’t wait. Don’t wait for the perfect camera, the right strategy, or enough followers. We find every excuse to stay comfortable. Just start, be consistent, and be authentically yourself. The right people will find you — and they’ll stay.

This conversation is just the beginning. Becky goes deeper on the risks that almost stopped her, the design process behind her latest Splendid collection, and what she’d tell her 2012 self today. Scan the QR code for the full, exclusive City Lifestyle interview on the Share the Lifestyle Podcast.
