Breathe in that fresh Colorado air... A
hh, breathe it in, the great outdoors. There are thousands of reasons why people love this part of the country, and Boulder in particular. Outdoor activities, mild climate and all the natural beauty that surrounds us, are certainly high on the list. As a child, growing up in the Midwest, we were fortunate to be just an eight-hour drive from Colorado’s front range. Most notable, even above ski trips, were the family camping excursions. The memories of trout fishing with my dad on a high mountain lake, listening to my mom play guitar around the campfire, and even fighting with my older sister over the Walkman headphones, will always be etched into the walls of time. Spending 10 days in Colorado each summer was not always in my parent’s budget, but sure as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, my folks made it happen for us. This often meant sacrificing common luxuries throughout the year, or my dad working side jobs, but the third week in July, the Manz family was headed west. Now that I am raising my own family here in Colorado, Kate and I have begun new traditions with our kids. One of these is a pilgrimage to the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in late June. If you know, you just know. We are already counting down the days. We are excited about this issue, as outdoor activities are such an important part of life for many of us. From our family to yours, we wish you safety and enjoyment, wherever your adventure takes you.

Stephen Tebo recently organized a fundraiser to support local cancer victims who are without insurance. Along with Tebo, many prominent members of the community offered their heads to be shaved for the cause, including Bradford Heap, Mark and Scott Monette, Dr. Jamie Doucet, and Gary Geis. When all the hair had fallen, over $278,000 was raised.

Nick Offerman, star of NBC’s Parks & Recreation series, serves as official celebrity spokesman in promotional online and print ads for the cause which kicks off on Saturday, June 27, and runs through September 7 (Labor Day). To participate, National Wildlife Federation asks people of all ages to make an online pledge to camp anywhere - from a forest to their own backyards – at least once this summer and provides all the information needed, including a directory of hosted Great American Campout locations tips on what to bring, lists of campout activities and recipes, and more. Campers are encouraged to take #Campies (Camping Selfies) and submit them to NWF’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to share their experiences and create an extended community of participants year round. AVERY BREWING RELEASES FOUR NEW SOUR BEERS FOR A ‘SOUR SPRING’ Avery’s brewers now have the capacity to experiment with these projects at the level they’ve always dreamed of, and they’re thrilled to be creating enough barrel-aged beers that sour beer fans across the country can finally get a taste. In the next two months, Avery is releasing four sour beers, all of which are radically diverse. Avery has always lived the mantra of “go big or go home,” and the impending onslaught of their barrel-aged beers is yet another embodiment of that philosophy. Raspberry Sour is one of Avery’s Spring Sours to be released on May 1. It is also the beginning of a new series for Avery called Botanicals & Barrels, which will feature barrel-aged beers in 22-ounce green-foil-capped bottles that are available year-round. The final piece of Sour Spring is an unusual beer called Fortuna. This brew was inspired by the flavors of a margarita, and although tequila must be made in Mexico, Avery found a tequila company called Suerte that is owned and run by a couple of Boulderites. Avery’s brewers aged a sour beer in Suerte tequila barrels for nine months and then added fresh lime zest and Maldon salt. Fortuna will be available at Avery Brewing on May 3 with a menu featuring a variety of barrel-aged beers paired with dishes that pay tribute to the Mexican culture that inspired this unique beer. LiCalsi was nominated for the award by CCA members and CU-Boulder Faculty, Jackie Elliott and Alison Orlebeke. Jackie and Alison have had the opportunity to observe the excellent results of Lynn LiCalsi’s teaching in the students from Fairview who come to CU-Boulder. The Colorado Classics Association noted in its letter announcing the selection of LiCalsi for this award that it is in recognition of her “teaching and administrative excellence and many contributions to Latin and classics education at Fairview High School and in the state of Colorado.” The selection committee and Lynn’s recommenders especially noted CONTINUED >

1. Whimsy Farm, Boulder. Enjoy the sweetness of summer at Whimsy Farm, a pick-your-own fruit farm with no shortage of character or charm. S
ummer camp is a time for children to play outside, try new activities and forge deep relationships that can last a lifetime. Oftentimes it gives children their first taste exploring all the great outdoors have to offer. Avid4 Adventure summer camps teach pre-K – 12th graders of all levels to climb, paddle, bike, hike and prosper in the outdoors. With help from its time-tested curriculum and experienced instructors, it gives campers solid outdoors skills and character-shaping confidence they can use at camp and beyond, launching them into a lifetime of empowering adventure. The inspiration behind Avid4 Adventure comes from founder David Secunda. With an extensive outdoor education history, David started out working for Outward Bound in both the UK and US. But it was while he was executive director for the Outdoor Industry Association that part of his research entailed monitoring children’s participation of outdoor activities. When year and after year he saw a steady decline, the seed for Avid4 Adven-

Secunda notes that staff talks to parents every day at pick up with a digest of the day’s successful moments as well as the challenges. The information is shared in a way that helps parents connect with their children by discussing events in an inviting way.

Just this year, it’s opened up a new location in Stapleton. Day camps run in Boulder, Golden, Highlands Ranch, Washington Park and Stapleton, while overnight camps occur in Bailey. Options really run the gamut. All offer authentic outdoor opportunities, including Stand Up Paddleboarding and Survival Skills camps. With the latter, kids learn to survive and thrive in the wilderness. Some of the 32

Our version of camping is up-leveled to enjoy life’s finest pleasures: gourmet food and fresh air.

NO FLAVOR SPARED
The key to cooking at a campsite is a seasoned cast iron skillet that infuses a flavor history onto new dishes. Cast iron plays a prominent role in Grant’s American fare, bringing the experience to a whole new level. Wake up to camp coffee and an over easy egg tostada: the fry bread soaks in the flavors and seasons itself. We used a French press for flavorful coffee that’s surprisingly easy to make. Lemon and honey are easy pantry staples to include for tea drinkers. After a day of hiking, exploring, or simply relaxing, dinner in camp is an exceptional pleasure. Cured olive butter crowns a pork chop and asparagus. The chop is browned and crisp on the outside, but each bite tender and bursting with flavor. No camping meal is complete without dessert: the s’more needs no introduction (but perhaps a whittled stick). Local dark chocolate, hand-cut vanilla bean marshmallows, and Justin’s Peanut Butter cups combine for the ultimate s’more experience. In addition to this sticky icon, Grant creamed butter and sugar for a rich, classic strawberry cake baked in cast iron over a bed of hot coals.
RESTFUL RETREAT
The Rocky Mountains are a stage set for relaxation. Pine forests, mountain streams, and fields of wildflowers are an ideal dining room for the menu prepared by GB Culinary. Dessert or not, the true sweet ending to a day in the woods are a few guitar chords, a good book and a place to relax and take in the night sky. This delicious vacation is right out our backdoor. COOKING AT THE CAMPSITE What you’ll need: Tongs: You’ll need a sturdy pair of metal tongs. Get a set that is at least 16” long and that can quickly lock and unlock. Gloves: A pair of heat resistant gloves is a good idea Coleman Grill: Comes in handy when preparing a camp feast. It heats up fast, is safe and easy to use, and is durable for many future camping trips. Cast Iron: I can’t say enough about cast iron. It’s cheap, dependable, controls heat well and lasts a lifetime if well cared for. Table Settings: Lightweight and durable silverware, mugs and plates. Stainless steel and titanium are excellent choices. Camp Libations: Grapefruit mimosas with breakfast. Local beer and Moscow Mules are a must around an evening around the campfire.

SWEET TEA GRILLED BONE-IN PORK CHOP W/ ASPARAGUS & CURED OLIVE BUTTER Serves 2
2 center cut bone-in pork chops, 1-1” thick 10-12 asparagus spears Brine 6 cups of water, 12 red tea bags, 1⁄4 cup sugar, 1⁄2 cup salt, 15 ea. black peppercorns Olive Butter 1⁄2 cup cured, pitted black olives, 8 tbl butter, softened 1 sprig rosemary lemon juice, to taste TO BRINE THE PORK: 1. Bring water, sugar, salt, & peppercorns to a boil. Simmer until sugar and salt are dissolved. 2. Place tea bags in and steep for 30 mins or until cool. 3. Submerge pork chops in a bag with the brine and place in a container(so it doesn't leak). Place in the refrigerator until ready to pack. FOR THE OLIVE BUTTER: 1. In a food processor place the olives and rosemary and pulse until smooth. 2. In a bowl beat the butter until fluffy and soft. 3. Fold in the olive puree and season with black pepper & lemon juice as needed. 50

ULTIMATE GRAIN FREE GRANOLA AND TRAIL MIX
• 2 cups chopped nuts • 1/2 cup sprouted pumpkin seeds • 1 cup unsweetened coconut flakes • 1 cup dried fruit • ½ cup cocoa nibs • 1/4 cup coconut oil • 1/2 cup honey • 1 teaspoon salt • 1 teaspoon vanilla • 1 teaspoon cinnamon • 1 egg white, whisked until frothy 1. Combine coconut oil and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Heat, stirring, just until combined. Take off heat. Stir in salt, vanilla, and cinnamon. Set aside. 2. Combine nuts, coconut flakes, dried fruit and cocoa nibs and pour oil mixture into the nut/fruit mixture. 3. Add in egg white and combine further by hand, making sure everything is coated well. 4. Transfer granola onto baking sheet, arranging it in one even layer. Place baking sheet in the oven. 5. Bake granola for at 300 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until dry and golden. Rotate the pan if the granola is browning unevenly. 6. Once cooled, break the granola apart into whatever sized chunks you prefer. Store in an airtight container and bring along while you hit the trials or as your morning granola.
4. Lay plastic wrap on the table and spoon the olive butter mixture in a straight line down the middle. Roll the plastic until it resembles a cylinder. Roll tight and tie the ends. Place in the refrigerator until ready to pack. TO EAT:
1. Place a cast iron skillet over the campfire and heat oil until a oil is loose and pan is hot. 2. Take the pork chops out of the brine, pat dry thoroughly with a paper towel. 3. Season the chops with salt and place in the pan. Cook on first side for 4 or so mins until a nice crust forms. 4. Flip the chops and add the asparagus around. Be sure to keep an eye on the heat from the fire. After another 3-4 mins on the second side, take the pan off the heat and remove the chops, setting them aside in a warm place to rest. 5. Top the chop with a few asparagus spears and a slice of olive butter. Enjoy!

There are 80 sites that fill up fast since Saddlehorn is the only established campsite in Colorado National Monument. With quite a view of steep red-rock canyons, there are plenty of backcountry desert hiking trails, scenic road biking and premium rock climbing in the park. Nps.gov PINYON FLATS CAMPGROUND, GREAT SAND DUNES NATIONAL PARK
The largest dunes in the United States happen to be here in south central Colorado just east of the San Juan Mountains. Visitors enjoy the challenge of hiking on the massive dunes or sand skiing and snowboarding. Make sure to stop by Zapata Falls on your way home. Nps.gov CAMPFIRE STRAWBERRY CAKE Serves 4
• 1 c. flour, all-purpose • 1/2 tsp baking soda • 1/2 tsp baking powder • 1/4 tsp salt 4 tbl butter, softened • 2/3 cup + 1 1/2 tbl sugar, divided • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract • 1 large egg • 1⁄2 cup buttermilk • 2 cups strawberries, fresh & sliced To eat: 1. Scrape coals away from the fire off to the side of the fire pit. Make a line of the coals 8-9 in long and 3-4 wide. Set two logs or rocks of relative size on either side as a stand for your cast iron. The pan should be able to sit on the logs or rocks and be over the coals but a few inches off of them. 2. Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, & salt and set aside. 3. Mixt the butter with the 2/3 cup sugar until fluffy and creamy. Add the vanilla and egg and stir to combine. Mix the dry into the butter mixture alternating with the butter to keep the clumps out. 4. Pour the batter into a cast iron rubbed down with butter and cover the top in strawberries. 5. Dust with remaining sugar and lay foil on top of the skillet. Place on the logs or rocks and cook for 12-15 mins or until done. If you have a dutch oven this works well. You can also have the dry mix done before and the butter & sugar whipped (just has to stay at room temp until ready to use!) 52

Rock Climbing From Then to Now

R
ock climbing’s history is a long one that knowingly dates as far back as 200 BC according to paintings which depict Chinese men performing the feat. The act of ascending mountains has undoubtedly been performed out of necessity in the past for hunting, religious pilgrimages, access to cliff-face dwellings and the common search for additional resources. It wasn’t until the first ascent of Mont Blanc – the tallest mountain in the Alps – in 1786 that the modern era of mountaineering with ropes and safety rigging came to be. As mountaineering became common throughout the Alps in the latter part of the Victorian era (late 1800s), Europeans are generally credited with the development of rock climbing as a sport. So, like many other outdoor, endurance related sports, rock climbing didn’t start here in Boulder, but once it found the area, there was no letting go. BOULDER’S CLIMBING COMMUNITY
Native Americans were most likely Boulder’s first rock climbers. The next well-known group of mountaineers being miners looking for gold and other precious minerals. The local rock climbing scene that we enjoy today began to develop around the 1950s. South Florida native, Matt Segal, grew up climbing in Miami gyms. After moving to Boulder nearly 12 years ago and graduating from Naropa University, he has found exquisite professional success as a rock climber. Garnering sponsorship from Boulder-based companies such a Zeal Optics and Skratch Labs, as well as global support from The North Face and La Sportiva, Segal now mainly spends his time trad (traditional) climbing for National Geographic and other magazines performing expedition climbing on exploratory objectives. Although Segal spends a great deal of his time traveling for work, Boulder is a home he chose to never really leave. You may even catch him at Ozo Coffee on Pearl or the Outback Saloon on 28th street. Segal explains his original migration from Florida by describing the climbing community as,”… massive, the first reason why I moved to Boulder from Florida, was for the competition climbing scene back around 2002. Lots of climbing gyms, I was able to get trained and pushed by this community that climbs at a very high level. There’s lots of different facets in the local climbing community…competition, traditional, a bunch of sport climbers and boulderers as well. The prox56

imity of really good climbing is so close to Boulder, so it draws the best of the best to settle here.” Boulder Canyon offers routes for every level and the Flat Irons deliver a smorgasbord of fun for sport climbers and boulderers alike. Just outside of city limits, but still within the county, El Dorado Canyon is Segal’s favorite Front Range climbing spot, as it has thousands of routes that cover the gamut of difficulties. Segal even established the hardest route to date in El Dorado Canyon a couple years back. Just beyond our immediate area, Segal names Estes Park and Idaho springs as go-to hot spots for climbers. He also calls Rocky Mountain National Park outside of Estes the premiere spot for bouldering and crag (small cliff ) climbing. Segal says, ”The coolest thing about the climbing community in Boulder is the different generations. There’s climbers in their 60s that grew up climbing here and are still here. There’s the young generation of kids doing really well. It’s cool to see the mingling of multiple generations, I don’t think you get that in many other areas for our sport.” Boulder has made a habit of cultivating greatness. Whether in the arts, business, cuisine or pushing the limits of outdoor recreation, we have an uncanny ability to reach new heights, both literally and figuratively. Let’s keep it up!

01 The Monastery, on Storm Mountain near Glen Haven, is my absolute favorite
climbing in Colorado, maybe even the world. The main wall frames Longs Peak in the distance, and looks a bit like a map, with plates resembling South America and Africa. But what I really love is that there are so few holds, there is only one way to get to the top. This makes the climbing very difficult, but unique because every climber has to get to the top the exact same way.
02 The Industrial Wall above Eldorado Canyon is another favorite. It's small, but

stacked with difficult lines on a stunning wall. The climbing here is technical, yet very physical. Climbing well at this crag requires a well rounded skill set. It's also a great winter spot, if you're willing to post hole uphill through snow, because the sun bakes the wall, providing pleasant climbing conditions on even the coldest of days. The River Wall near Lyons is great little crag that requires a bit of finagling to access, depending on the time of year. The wall juts straight out of the river, so reaching the base of the crag, or lowering off certain climbs is a fun adventure. The climbing is superb, with a nice range of grades and styles. Red Neck Hero is one of the best 5.12s in Colorado, and New Horizon is almost certainly the most difficult 5.12 in the State! All can be found at MountainProject.com

HIKING ALL What Makes Boulder Exceptional and Trails for Every Level ARTICLE JORDAN LEBOWITZ

o matter what your age or fitness level, Boulder affords all of us the opportunity to experience a truly unique and splendid natural environment right outside our front door. Ken Steckline is a Colorado native and Boulder area resident of nearly three decades. He has been on every trail Boulder has to offer and now he’s helping us put a finger on what makes our home so uniquely outstanding. Steckline begins by explaining, "What’s really special about Boulder trailheads are that they start from the edge of town. There’s so many of them that take you right up into the mountains. Also, there’s nothing like the Flat Irons. There’s nothing like them anywhere that I’ve been, especially not on the Front Range, for foothills hiking.” Most new residents to the area aren’t familiar with the term Flat Irons and need to have it explained. Fortunately, there is a good visual reference from town. While it’s easy to quickly become jaded by the massive flat rock formations, Steckline reminds us that, “…otherwise it just looks like the Rockies everywhere. I’ve been through the Rockies up into Montana and Wyoming, the big areas are about the same. Hiking those peaks (Flat Irons) are more dramatic, quality hikes because the views of the Front Range, Boulder and everything out west into the mountains is awesome.” Steckline’s favorite Boulder hikes all stem from the Chautauqua Park Trailheads just off Baseline Road that lead you into the Flat Irons. Hiking on the Flat Irons also lets you explore for caves, watch rock climbers push their limits and gaze at glider planes that seem to be only a few hundred feet overhead. Lastly, the native Coloradan brings up a point that has been echoed from notable state migrants such as Olympic snowboarder Alex Deibold, triathlete/ Ironman Mirinda Carfrae and professional rock climber Matt Segal. Which is, living in Boulder isn’t just about what’s available in the city or county limits. Living here opens you up to a whole world of fascinating, challenging and moment creating terrain, no matter what you fancy for outdoor fun. When asked if there’s anything special to look for when out hiking, Steckline responds with a laugh. “Sure, a mountain lion,” he says. Ken merely means for everyone to stay alert and safe.

HERE ARE A FEW TRAILS TO TRY FOR EVERY LEVEL OF OUTDOORSMAN…OR OUTDOORSWOMAN:
â EASY Bald Mountain: Pine to Peaks Loop – This short hike is great for family picnics, time alone and sprawling views of the plains and Continental Divide. Legion Park: Legion Loop – At just under a mile, this loop takes you to the hilltop park which was once known as Goodview Hill, a lookout point for local Native Americans. The ecosystem surrounding the park is full of prairie dogs, which means there’s a chance at spotting a raptor hunting for a meal. Keep your head up and your eyes open!
â INTERMEDIATE Betasso Preserve: Benjamin Loop – Popular for hiking and biking, this singletrack trail curves, bends, descends and brings you back up again. The moderate hiker will find this trail gratifying due to the varying terrain. Flagstaff Mountain: Flagstaff Trail – Another amazing hike just off Baseline Road, this steep trail errs on the difficult side due to the slope and length (approx. 2.5 miles). Watch for motorist and high-speed cyclist as the trail crosses a switchbacking road five times, but don’t let the traffic deter you from reaching the summit of this Boulder icon.
â DIFFICULT Chautauqua Park: Royal Arch – Get up close and personal with the Flat Irons on this narrow and steep trail that leads up a gulch which springs a diverse array of plant life to explore. After reaching the Royal Arch you can find one of several outcroppings perch on and take in the view. Green Mountain: Gregory Canyon Trail – Follow a stream up the switchbacks to a 100-mile vista. This strenuous, but rewarding trail allows hikers to split off onto connecting routes and create their own loops.

hat started as a 1960s rectangular brick bi-level has been completely transformed into a stunning, updated home full of natural light and stylish finishings. Cheri Belz of Belz Architecture bought the Jasmine Circle property in early 2014. She designed an updated floor plan and landscaping changes that allow entry into a new, bright foyer added on the main level, replacing the small landing and split-staircase of the original home’s entrance. The old roof was removed to vault the living room ceiling, and skylights were installed for maximum daylight. The home now has radiant flooring and LED lighting throughout, all new Marvin windows, custom melamine 64

The All New Land Rover Discovery Sport ARTICLE ANDY MANZ
T
here is a new kid on the Land Rover block, with quite a familiar name. From 1989 to 2005, the Land Rover Discovery held court as the very capable, budget-friendly kin to the more expensive, and luxurious, Range Rover. I’ll never forget the day I drove my Army green 1995 Land Rover Discovery off the lot. Although the vehicle was 10 years old at the time, it had been maintained meticulously and the truck certainly fit my outdoor lifestyle well. In 2005, Rover dropped the Discovery label and began adopting alphanumeric names for models here in the U.S. market. The Discovery became the LR3 (and eventually the LR4) and the compact Freelander was renamed LR2. The LR2 replacement—even as that model will be sold for at least one more year—is now called the Discovery Sport and is every bit worthy of the name. While not as beefy as the original Discovery, the new Disco Sport, certainly feels a bit more like a Land Rover should. Available third row seating, and increased cabin room make the Discovery Sport attractive to a wide audience. The 240-hp engine, designed and built by Ford, won’t wow you off the line, but once the turbocharger is unleashed, the Discovery Sport opens up to 251 lb-ft of

torque. With a base of $37,995, the price point sits just under the BMW X3 and the Audi Q5. Ironically enough, my weekend affair with the Disco happened to come over the snowy Mother’s Day we recently experienced. ome days it’s challenging to decompress. With phones in our pockets that instantly connect us to anyone (anywhere!) in the world, notify us to check our email or Facebook page, update our calendar or download the latest version of some app we rarely use, it seems technology was invented to morph us into 24hour multitaskers whether we like it or not. It’s no wonder we’re more screen-obsessed and stressed out than ever before. Here’s a remedy that’s catching people’s attention that doesn’t involve a download. It’s called shinrin-yoku or forest bathing. At its simplest, forest bathing is about enveloping yourself in the forest atmosphere to improve mental and physical relaxation. This isn’t about exercising or eating right. Of course, those would be helpful too. Rather it involves connecting to the natural landscape around you while using all five senses. So roll out the picnic blanket and cloud gaze, take a leisurely stroll, or sit down and soak your feet in a stream. Forest bathing benefits are backed by scientific findings; being one with nature has been linked to lowered blood pressure, reduced stress, fighting off anxiety and depression, and having positive health benefits similar to natural aromatherapy. Odors exuded by the trees—called phytoncides—are a powerful portion of the healing elements. In Japan, forest bathing is standard preventive medicine, which is likely why they’ve mastered it. After all, this is probably for the best considering the Japanese invented the word karoshi, which translates to death by overwork. Now scientists are studying what happens inside our body when we are in a park or forest. Pioneering the research is Qing Li, an associate professor at the Department of Hygiene and Public Health of Nippon Medical School in Tokyo, who studies forest medicine and is also president of the Japanese Society of Forest Medicine. Dr. Li has conducted a number of experiments to test the effects of forest bathing on our moods, stress levels and immune system. The Profile of Mood States (POMS) test was used in one study to exhibit that “forest bathing trips significantly increased the score of vigor in subjects, and decreased the scores for anxiety, depression and anger – leading to the recommendation that habitual forest bathing may help to decrease the risk of psychosocial stress-related diseases. Other studies on immune function looked into whether forest bathing increases the activity of people’s natural killer (NK) cells, a component of the immune system that fights cancer,” according to Healthy Parks Healthy People. And this is just the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more unfolding about this healthy wellness practice.

If you take a half-day forest bathing, it’s better to stay in forest for about 2 hours and walk about 2.5 kilometers. • Find a place in the forest you like. Sit for a while and read or enjoy the beautiful scenery. • To boost your immunity, a three-day/ two-night forest bathing trip is recommended. • If you just want to relax for reducing your stress, a day trip to a forest park near to your home is recommended. • If it is possible, it’s better to take a hot spring bath after the forest bathing.

I
f you watched the Super Bowl this year, you probably saw the Budweiser commercial that puffed their chest proudly at being a “Macro Beer.” The beer giant then proceeded to take cheap shots at the craft beer community. While I do agree that the bearded hipsters in skinny jeans can take things a little too far sometimes, I’m personally enjoying the front row seat we have to the craft beer revolution. Nearly every week, there is a new brewery popping up, or a much anticipated “small batch” release by the usual suspects. While Avery has long been an industry leader in barrel-aged sours and wild ales, their small production space allowed only for a limited quantity of these beers. The new 65,000-squarefeet brewery has completely changed all of that. On May 1st, Raspberry Sour was released. A sour with red raspberries aged in neutral oak barrels. It is also the beginning of a new series for Avery called Botanicals & Barrels, which will feature barrel-aged beers in 22-ounce

green-foil-capped bottles that are available year-round. As popular as sour beers have become recently, they certainly aren’t the cheapest beers on the shelf. The Raspberry Sour bomber is offered for $14, which in today’s market, is a welcome change. The Raspberry Sour has all the complexity you would expect, but is also very approachable for a sour newbie.
