Strathisla Distillery Re-opens

Leading Scotch Whisky producer Chivas Brothers is safely welcoming visitors into its world-famous brand homes once again following their temporary closure in March as a result of the coronavirus pandemic. Among them, the newly refurbished heart of Chivas Regal, Strathisla Distillery is inviting visitors to explore Speyside’s oldest and most picturesque working distillery once again.

In line with Scottish government guidelines, whisky lovers will be able to safely visit Strathisla - home of Chivas Regal - from the 7th August. 18 The site has been equipped with extensive health and safety measures to ensure visitors can take part in the adapted tasting experiences, now operating at a reduced capacity, all while safely soaking up the beautiful scenery of Speyside.

Checkpoints have been implemented across Strathisla, including temperature checks at the site entrance, hand sanitiser stations in each room, clear social distancing signposts throughout and increased cleaning procedures across the site. Face masks will be provided where necessary, however, visitors are encouraged to bring their own.
