Whisky Festival 8th - 12th October 2020
This year has been somewhat of a rollercoaster ride. Everything that we have taken for granted has been thrown up in the air, only to come down in a jumbled heap. All the events that we have come to expect have been cancelled or postponed – sometimes indefinitely. 2019 saw a very successful, intimate Whisky Colours Festival in Dufftown. No-one ever thought that 2020 would be anything but the same; however Covid-19 scuppered all plans and some lateral thinking was called for. The result? A hybrid festival, adapted this year to ensure security and compliance with Government guidelines. This innovative hybrid festival will bring you, the whisky enthusiast, a series of whisky experiences that can be enjoyed here in Speyside or from the comfort of your own home.
The organisers are working with a number of companies to create whisky tasting packs for hosted on-line tastings that you can enjoy from your accommodation here in Speyside. At this time of year the area is cloaked in glorious autumn colours, the skies are crisply blue and there is a tang to the air – perfection! If you cannot be here with us (if you are unable or unwilling to travel to Scotland), you can enjoy them from your own home, wherever that may be. is a lot to see and do on Speyside and we are ready to give you the warmest of welcomes.

So far there will be tastings from: Glenfarclas, Glen Moray, Benriach/Glendronach/ Glenglassaugh, Glenfiddich and Spey. Douglas Laing, independent Scotch whisky specialists, will also be participating. Access to all of the tastings with tasting packs will be available to members of the Whisky Colours Club as part of the membership benefits. This club will be launched in a few weeks.
