Chicago’s Voice of Resilience: An Insight Into The A.C. Green Show By Alleceia M. Walker In December 2008, A.C. Green launched “The A.C. Green Show,” marking the beginning of his journey into the world of entertainment. As the youngest among six siblings, he hails from a family deeply rooted in the church, with his father serving as a prominent pastor in the city, and his mother actively engaged in both the church and community. AC’s passion for music, particularly gospel, emerged as his primary love. In the early 2000s, he translated this love into action by producing live TV shows and performances for renowned gospel artists. Known by the moniker “The Man That Makes Things Happen,” A.C. Green pursued his musical education at Chicago State University, where he honed his skills under the mentorship of the musical genius and Chicago native, Eddie Thomas.
