Elizabeth Ockford
The Partnership’s UK Headquarters are nestled in the idyllic Sussex countryside where artist and designer Elizabeth Ockford works across an array of mediums and techniques to produce a distinctive style for her collections of contemporary wallpapers and fabrics. After many years working in London for top design houses, 10 years ago she moved to Sussex looking for a different pace to life, she set up her own studio and started a family. However her enduring interest and passion for design led her back into wallpapers. She is now Creative Director at The Paper Partnership. Drawing inspiration from her love of art exhibitions, garden design and studies of flowers, visiting historical sites and stately homes, she combines printmaking techniques, intaglio printmaking with artistic painting skills using water-colour, oils, calligraphic inks and digital design processes to create her unique, distinctive designs.
Danehill: ‘Nutley’ a pretty silhouette Elder tree design, ‘Paxhill’ with its scalloped geometric style and ‘Lindfield’ a distressed damask with an array of textural plains make this a perfect range for both classical and modern interiors. Little Luxuries, Matilda: with pretty small scale floral trails, motifs and coordinating stripes and plains.
