MACMILLAN MORNING

Chandra Sharma of Orpington’s Tangent Office Resources recently held his annual Macmillan Coffee Morning. The event gets bigger and better every year with a ‘spin the wheel’ to win prizes donated by local businesses and individuals, a human fruit machine courtesy of Chislehurst Rotary and of course refreshments and a great selection of cakes to tuck into. Prizes included Champagne; window cleaning from Jade Window Cleaning; tickets from Bromley Churchill Theatre, Bromley Picture House and Bromley Little Theatre; cake and cupcakes from Cake Box Orpington; and chocolate brownies from Lauren of LEO Gym, amongst many others. A huge well done to Zeenat Noorani of Vida de la Mariposa for collecting prizes from local businesses. The Mayor of Bromley, Cllr Russell Mellor, along with the Lady Mayoress, also joined in the fun and festivities of the morning, and the event managed to raise over £1,000 – well done Chandra!
