“Where does all the time go in a week?” Life sure is busy! With work, family life, sports, its easy to get to the end of the week and wonder where all the time went. In the midst of all of these pulls on our time, I think its really important to ask a couple of questions to yourself: 1) What must I do now, that can not be done later? 2) What part does God play in my life? 3) Is God/Church in the right place in my life? In the Old Testament the nation of Israel camped in the wilderness. The tabernacle (a large tent where God would dwell) was located central in the camp. E V E RY T H I NG WA S B U I LT AROUND THE TABERNACLE. What does this mean for us today? God & Church needs to be central in our life! Not the thing we look at when everything else is taken care of.
It’s time to allow God to be central in everything we do! For us to operate with priorities that give rightful place for God to operate and move in us and through us. We love our Church! We love everyone that is part of it! Our greatest days are ahead! Mike & Michelle Kelly Pastors @ Life! Church

2. Pray for souls to be saved in every area of Church
StoreHOUSE is one of the great areas in our Church! It helps people who are in great need with food, and support. In 2009, we were able to help approximately 135 families with food. Some were in desperate need, some struggling from week to week waiting for their income. Last week 12 families came into our Church desperately needing food. One man in his early 30’s, was suffering not just with no food, but not enough money for his medication. We were able to give him food, and connect him with a community organization which helps with medication.

Our greatest need right now is to have enough food to help these people. What we would love is for when you do your grocery shopping to buy a couple of extra groceries, and bring them to one of our services. “Lets be a blessing to our Community!”

Music Director/Worship Leader W hat you love about our Church? I love its Focus on Missions and the c o n t e m p o r a r y atmosphere. What are you excited about at Life! Church? The increasing amount of young adults coming into the church, and the increasing passion for worship with each service.
“In our weakness, God gives us his strength for any situation” Due to my Mum [Lillian] suffering with a aggressive throat cancer and having no or little faith to give her strength/ comfort and remove anxiety, I heard the words of God whisper to me “All you need is faith as little as a mustard seed” to show her and reveal her to me [God], through you [Linda].Wow, I was afraid,especially of losing my relationship with Mum, how was I going to do this and be obedient to God’s whisper. Ok, Ok, I said ‘only as small as a mustard seed, not strive in, have faith that God will give me the words and prayers and strength/patience to love on Mum and speak God’s words into her journey with cancer [though I see my Mum perishing in these last few weeks].He gave me visions, he allowed me to confront and deepen my faith walk with him and totally rely and trust that he would see my Mum surrender her life to him and start to talk to him, and “YES” it is happening, praise God.
Though God had removed her ability to talk or write or clearer communicate, he took control off her life, opened her eyes and ears. There has been not a physical healing but a ‘God miraculous’ spiritual healing, of salvation,reconciliation and eternity. The Holy Spirit does it, we are only the conduit, where the Holy Spirit passes through us to reach to our loved ones and neighbors and workmates and friends. With boldness and courage faith grows from such a small seed to produce great fruit in people’s lives that we touch. Keep it simple, love on those, pray and watch God work. People need to know the kingdom of heaven; God uses the smallest things to accomplish something great. Never ever miss an opportunity!!! LETTER FROM Ps Ross & Leigh Harrold - Missionaries to Normanton & previous members of our Church. Dear Life Church Family! Greetings in the name of Christ, Firstly I would like to say that Leigh and I are really excited about all the great news we hear on how Life!Church is growing. Gulf Christian College News Leigh has been really busy with teaching and running the college. The enrolments have increased and all the available space within the school has been used for classrooms. The school’s new kitchen and art block is now Leigh’s classroom due to the creation of a third class. So in just over 2 years the school has grown from 17 students, one teacher to 50 students, 3 teachers, which is amazing! New staff will be joining the college in the next few months and work will begin on the building of the schools new Library/ Computer Lab. Other great news is that Nambour Christian College donated one of their 22 seater buses to the school, which is something we have been asking God for since taking on the school in 2008. Nambour Christian College has been a huge support for Leigh and the Gulf Christian College and we are looking forward to seeing what God is going to do next! Crosstrek News I have been busy working in partnership with the Frederick Marsden Youth Centre in creating
a Not For Profit called Crosstrek here in Normanton. This has been really exciting as many doors are opening for ministry with young people in our community. I am working with the Council’s Youth Support Officer to set up a Youth Centre in town as well as a Street Van style of ministry during the evenings, this is to offer support that is currently not available in town. I have also been working to bring together a team of volunteers to help offer support to Young people and the Council’s Youth Support Officer (who is a former minister). God seems to be drawing men and women of Faith to Normanton as there is a new Pastor at the Christian Centre, Elton, who hails from Clontarf, the new Youth Support Officer is an Indigenous Man who was a former Minister and there is a new couple moving to town who worked with Elton in Clontarf and will be working at the College and Hospital. Doors have also opened for Ministry into Doomadgee with Pastor Bennett from the Indigenous AOG church in Normanton. This is an amazing opportunity as the Community Elders have requested Bennett to come and minister in Doomadgee. Thanks for all your prayers and support. Regards, Ross Harrold Director Crosstrek

“G” Rated Billboards Campaign Wendy Francis, the lead Senate Candidate for Family First in Queensland, has begun a campaign to disallow billboard advertising unless it is rated “G”. It is only common sense that the viewing of anything other than a general rating would not be suitable for children’s eyes. And yet we have a proliferation of billboards advertising such things as “Tell your wife you’ll be late” (a Brisbane gentleman’s club) and others that cleverly sound like swear words. Intimacy with God – Ps Mike Kelly (This is an excerpt from a sermon preached in April 2010.) “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.” James 4:8 If God could ask something of us today it would be: “Why are you satisfied without My presence, why do you remain distant when you could have an incredibly intimate relationship with me?” Most Christians understand and are grateful for the blood… for forgiveness. BUT THE PURPOSE OF C H R I S T ' S D E AT H WA S T O RESTORE INTIMACY!

Exodus 34:14 “He is a God who is passionate about His relationship with you!” This is God’s unwavering desire! This is what God is interested in! Not beating you up, but developing a closeness with humanity which is far greater than we know. Adam knew God this way BEFORE He sinned… Adam knew what life was meant to be like. Sin came in and it put a wedge and a wall in this intimacy. JESUS CAME AND RESTORED THE POTENTIAL FOR CLOSENESS WITH GOD.
TO EMPHASIZE THE BLESSING What if Moses thought “I got OF GOD TEND TO NEGLECT THE sheep… this is not convenient…. It RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD. will take days to get things back together again!” What would have Exodus 19:4 “I bore you on eagles happened if Moses had ignored the wings, and bought you to Myself!” burning bush? We serve a God who desires every Christian to know Him deeply! Most times our lives are too busy to love God this way…. If that’s the case, your life is TOO busy!
Western Christians emphasis LIBERATION from sin… but fail to Moses saw the Burning Bush and recognise the relationship which said “I will turn aside and see…” was purchased BY this liberation! Exodus 3:3 God THEN called from the burning bush and said I think in Churches today we preach “MOSES… MOSES!” IT WAS NOT MORE about what Jesus can do for UNTIL MOSES TURNED ASIDE u s … B U T W E N E E D T O THAT GOD CALLED HIM! WORSHIP HIM SIMPLY BECAUSE HE IS GOD! PEOPLE WHO TEND
GOD DESIRES TO BE WANTED AND RECOGNIZED AS WELL AS TO BE KNOWN. HE LOOKS FOR THS WHO WILL SEEK AND PURSUE, EVEN IF IT TAKES TENACIOUS PERSISTENCE! So a relationship without desire… is not much of a relationship. Why take your relationship with God to another level? Seek Him, spend time with Him. YOUR LIFE WILL NEVER BE THE SAME!
