INSTRUMENTS: The Lexington Philharmonic will provide a set of four (4) American Drum timpani, consisting of two (2) American Drum Dresden Style Mark XIV Timpani, sizes 26” and 29” for the inside drums, and two (2) American Drum Continental Chain Tuned Timpani, sizes 23” and 32” for the outside drums. Drums are set up in traditional American-style orientation. In addition, a set of five (5) Yamaha 6000 series balancedaction timpani, Evans Orchestral heads, with gauges set up to reflect American-style setup will also be provided. Candidates that wish to supply their own timpani my do so upon request. Candidates should supply their own mallets and music.
