Arlington Children’s Theatre

Concord Youth Theatre

Playtime Theatre performances of familiar children’s stories for all ages Saturday mornings from September through May. Classes and workshops available for ages 3+. Also offers summer workshops, theatre arts classes.

Kidstock Creative Theater

50 Cross St., Winchester www.kidstocktheater.com Year-round drama classes offered for preschoolers; art and video classes also available to older children. Dramatic play through use of masks, puppets, costumes, props, musical instruments and art supplies.

Puppet Showplace Theatre

32 Station St., Brookline www.puppetshowplace.org Year-round weekday and weekend shows and classes using puppets and marionettes with traditional/non-traditional classic themes. Recommend for ages 3-6. View scheduled performances online; reservations recommended. Available to host birthday parties and school field trips.

The Regent Theatre

7 Medford St., Arlington www.regenttheatre.com Located in Arlington center, this theatre seats 500. The performances include singer-songwriters, puppeteers, acrobats, jugglers, magicians and comedians.

Wheelock Family Theatre at Boston University

180 The Riverway, Boston www.wheelockfamilytheatre.org Child-pleasing productions geared towards ages 5 and up. Great for introducing kids to theatre. Workshops are available for kids 4+. Certain performances are American Sign Language interpreted for deaf patrons and audio described for blind patrons.
